    I freaking love the cinematography and in-depth look of these reviews for such basic common cars the common broke person can afford/look for. Criminally underrated and underlooked at, you deserve many, many more views, my dude 😀👍

    In South Africa, that car was called the ix35 because the old Tuscon discontinued for the 2012 model year, the Tuscon came back for the 2016 model year

    I used to have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, the radio was identical to the one in that.

    Fun fact, Hyundai's sister company Kia, also had a manual Kia Sorento for the same years! My 2012 was optioned with the manual (until the engine catastrophically blew up)

    funfact: for whatever reason, it was named the ix35 in europe, possibly to appear more upmarket since german vehicles mostly used alphanumerics. afterwards it was back to being called the Tucson. the Santa fe was also called the ix55

    Nice basic transportation. Long-term reliability. Nothing fancy. I like it.

    This is a rare car. Early 10s stripper model Hyundais weren't cars to save and the manual had to have a super-low take rate. The shift knob is unusually detailed for a cheap car. Even for a base model this looks decently well-equipped. This would be a good basic car for someone.

      I agree, although I’m curious what a stripper model Hyundai is?

    I have a friend with one of these. His is also the GL but he had his optioned with a six speed manual. I always wondered why anyone would choose the five speed over a six to be honest, but to each there own I guess.

    Love your reviews. With the rise of " car camping/vanlife/overland life" Do you think it could be a good Idea to ad a section of your cargo reviews where you lay in the back in the crossovers and suvs?

    I feel like you put a manual in a sedan or something and everybody is like "nice that's cool"
    But the same people would be like wtf if you place it in a crossover.

    Speaking of large A Pillars, that Italian baby Jeep has the biggest that I have seen. I like the Hyundai and would purchase one, but wouldn't EVER touch an Italian baby JEEP or for a matter of fact ANY Italian automobile/car, again EVER.

    • @karoltakisobie6638
      @karoltakisobie6638 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Likely because only handful of people knew that version even existed. For some reason hyundai was always very shy about their manual transmission vehicles and you really had to ask a bunch of people to get one. My neighbor was looking for manual elaborate two years ago and it took him awhile to get one. 3 dealerships didn't have one,4th made him jump many hoops for it.

    Over here these were named Hyundai IX30... A manual Tuscon sounds absolutely horrible... Personally I'm glad that manual coal rolling is going away from this world... Hate manuals with passion on daily drivers... Absolute torture and just unneeded and unjustified completely...
