Falcons close their talons into a “fist” when hunting. Paired with reaching such speeds, they can knock out their prey cold.
So yes, Falcon Punch is real.

A peregrine falcon can literally kill a human if they hit you from diving from that high at that speed.
It takes 1,01 MPa to break your femur bone. A female would kick with 47.72 and a male 23.45 MPa. 23.21-47.24 times the force required to break a human femur

I live in a high rise in downtown Kansas City and we have had peregrine falcon nesting here for years. One day I was drinking my coffee and looking outside at some pigeons. Suddenly, one of the pigeons just exploded, leaving a puff of feathers floating down. I caught sight of a falcon flying off with a motionless bird in its talons. I keep watching to see if I can catch that again.

They aren't the fastest flyers, they are the fastest fallers after flying very high. There are definitely birds that fly faster.
In fact even a Pigeon can fly faster than a Peregrin Falcon. The only way a Peregrin Falcon can catch a Pigeon is by falling on them from their blind spot. If the falcon is seen the hunt is failed, it wont be able to catch it because a pigeon can fly faster.

We have these in Maine and on 2 occasions I have been able be around very close when these birds have hit pigeon. One time I was cleaning my car out in Windsor Maine running a vacuum and it sounded like a tree branch broke above me to I turned it off turned around and there were feathers floating in the air like snow.....and I then I noticed the dead bird.....the falcon landed and made noises at me so I went inside so it could eat in peace.....super impressive for me. 2 time I was inside my house about 6:30 am at my dresser and it sounded like something hit my house or something downstairs felt over....I felt the impact a little kinda jumped me.....10 mins later I went to start my car in the driveway and when I open the door there was feathers all over the front yard....I lived in town Augusta Maine at this point and had never seen a falcon in town like this before but clear as day it was in the red maple on the far side of my drive way making the same noise....then I noticed the pigeon on top of the van no head and a bunch of feathers stuck to the side of my house where my bedroom is....moral of the story is don't wear a hat that looks like a pigeon around these because if they mistake it for a real bird you are done....I will never forget the sound each time I heard these impacts its actually scary. Such a small animal too.....I would rather deal with a black bear lol

I remember going down the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto only to look over and see a pigeon and peregrine keeping pace with our car at over 100km an hour. For a few seconds it was like they were perfectly still, and parallel to my window. They both pulled away to head down into the valley. It was the most impressive aerial race I've ever seen

Wow, a series about birds, that is so great! Cool to have you on the team, Aranya, the first episode was already striking! (Well, might be also because the peregrine stole the show) I am looking forward to more birdy episodes. You might do mostly American birds, but should you ever come to Europe - Bearded Vultures are really fascinating creatures. They were driven almost to exinction but now are slowly gaining numbers thanks to protection and resettlements. This year after an absent of over 100 years the first two Bearded Vultures were released in Germany! They are such beautiful, fascinating creatures.
