The best who made Monk’s music understandable was the Saxophonist, he is also the one who understand better Monk , I think

It's so true. In the documentary you see him even writing some chord extensions for Monk. This is the ultra quartet.

Just to offset the net negativity of all comments left so far, I wanted to say thank you very much for posting this! I am very inspired by Thelonious & Co. May their jazzy souls rest in peace (with the exception of Ben Riley, who is still kicking around, right?). What a show.
