I am so happy that you have a house now. Something else off your list. I am packing myself at the moment, and i am in my 70s and its not an easy job when your on your own. I will be really glad when i'm done. Sending you lots of love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
@@SuperBarbaranne Packing is no fun! Thanks for watching!!
Oh my goodness!!!!Congratulations to you and your family 🎉❤ I’m so Happy for you!!!!
@@peggyoneill3438 Thank you!!
Congratulations on getting the house! Hopefully, you'll feel more settled in once you move in! I know how frustrating it is to run out of beads on a diamond painting project. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to contact anyone at the diamond painting company where I bought my big diamond painting via e-mail or telephone. I gave a 1-star review and gave them the ultimatum of sending me extra beads by February 1st, and they never did. Do NOT ever buy from Diamond Painting Pro!!!! So, I will be removing all the beads that I put down, and once that I'm done with that, I'll throw out the canvas. However, if I get sick of doing that, I just might throw it out, beads and all. Hope you feel better!
@@kariflater667 Oof - I think I’d just bin the lot! Thanks for watching!!
I'm currently working g on my First AND Last kit from that company. The drills are horrible and keep popping. I ordered some replacement drills only because its a gift for my husband and I can't find the same image anywhere else. Now I'm hoping I don't fun out of any colors.
Gratz to geting the house! 🎉 Sounds like it’s going to be great!! 😊
@@katarinafernbrant3159 It will be! Thanks for watching!!
Yay on the house news!! 🤞that all goes well and yall are in the new place as soon as can be.

Diamond Dotz square kits are excellent in quality if you can find an image and rendering style you like. As for going back to older kits -- I did it once last summer and gave up on that kit about a week in. There are just too many good ones to do, so cut yourself some slack, Daphne. You deserve the best!
@@sylviakanel9766 Oh, good to know! Thanks for sharing!!
Congratulations on the new house, Daphne!! A long closing is good for planning, furniture shopping etc.!! I’m tempted to buy the artdot covered trays, but I’ll probably wait til I hear more about them. I did buy the ARtdot blue trays they sell in packs of 10 through Amazon, and I returned them because they were too shallow and I every time I shook the drills went everywhere. I’m glad you found some local options for diamond painting, they pop up everywhere nowadays! My sister in Nova Scotia goes to a gift store and buy some sometimes. Thanks for another terrific WiPnChat! ❤ from Ontario 🇨🇦
@@susanh9950 I’ve watched a couple of people unbox the trays - I am super curious about how they handle static! Thanks for watching!!
Congrats on the house! Hoping everything from here goes super smoothly!

Congratulations on the new house! I think Kansas is getting all the cold weather you expected to be in Canada🙂
@@Tattoocrochetgranny They certainly got more snow! But yesterday it was 50 degrees warmer in KS than here, so at least they are getting a break from the freezing cold! Thanks for watching!!
Cheryl from Australia, I did a masterclass, Roses and Hummingbird, two sized drills, yes expensive, but had to do it. There is no setting up, comes in bottles, already to go, special pen for the smaller diamonds, trash very minimal. Proud to be Australian and the quality Diamond Dotz produce
@@cherylanderson9920 Ooh, I forgot they came already in bottles - that is a definite time saver! Thanks for watching!!
all the DAC mini dazzle kits (the ones with the mini canvases) come with just special drills. Most are only fairy dust drills, but there are a couple that also have an AB or two. There might be a kit with iridescents or electro drills, I'm not sure because I didn't check and I don't need more of them anyway so I'll not get the newer releases.
on the dark trash drills: my DAC kit 'Gift from the Void' also has a lot of dark coloured drills, more than the one you're doing here and I've not seen overly much trash. Granted, I've done like 1/6 of it, but it seems like a good sign.
@@ammalyrical5646 Mine is an older kit, so I expect more trash drills than a newer one. It’s just frustrating to have to spend so much time sorting drills instead of diamond painting. Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous I totally get that. And some of the trash is a mystery how it even gets in there since it's not even shaped like a drill. I usually laugh about it, but I could see it being in the way if it were more prevalent.
I personally am sadder because I caught covid and now my joint issues in my hands are back :( which means less DP stamina
@ Oof. Hope you feel better soon!!
We purchased our dream home 14 years ago. It is 120 years old and was exactly what we were looking for. But given that, it still took me about six months to finally feel like I was home. We had lived in our prior home for 25 years and letting it go was difficult. Now, of course, 14 years later this is home. Give yourself time to acclimate. Leaving the states was one more thing on top of leaving your old house. Oh, and yes, congratulations on finding your new home.
@@susandoty8241 It has certainly been a huge amount of change in just a few short months. I thought I was prepared, but nope! Thanks for watching!!
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 on ur house, 🤞. I'm with U, U won't catch me on the ice after a warm period. .

What you are talking about is masrerclass, they are expensive because there is no kitting up, it is all set up. You work directly from the lovely Gold box. All set up and ready to go
I'm currently working on Sparkle the Unicorn by DAC. Been dealing with vertigo and migraines so it's been slow going. I usually work on an easel, but the larger canvases are making me rethink it. I bought a few smaller kits last month but nothing big. I have a stack of big ones I need to get a handle on. I really enjoyed my Richard Lorenz bird rider. It is so whimsical. I have a few more of his to work on. So glad you got the house! That is a huge win in my book. Winter up north lasts often into May and that's usually when you get the big snows, or at least when I lived in Wyoming that's how it worked. We had a year where it snowed in June and then again started up in late August. Makes for a really short summer. It never really got hot that year. I could tell stories.... lol which is why I live in New Mexico and today it is a sunny 71! Happy diamond painting!
@@katpraeuner9794 I’ve been freezing all day - I’d love some sunshine!! Thanks for watching!!

Here in the very Northeastern part of Wa State we have had a very mild winter this year. Hardly any snow to speak of.
@@teresakooser5695 They’re are calling for 4-5in sometime this week - we’ll see if it happens. Thanks for watching!!
In Portland we don’t usually get snow til February and that happens to be this week. I live outside Portland at 1300 ft so we get snow more than most places here. Where I work is only 200 ft.
@@cathrynking Hubby and the relatives keep saying, ‘Just wait!’ So maybe we’ll see some significant snowfall in Feb. Right now it’s just freezing cold! 🥶
‘I bought everything that wasn’t stapled down!’ 🤣
Omg Daphne, the way you said it so calmly…I spit my coffee out!!😂
Congrats on the new home! You’ll feel a thousand times better once that final move is over.
I want to buy a master class kit so badly but I just am not that enamored with the images. I keep waiting for new ones to come along.
💯 agree on paint gens trash drills. I won’t buy anymore, I’m sick of picking through them. After completing six sets I had filled the largest EWard container with trash and said this is nuts. $40/set and the drills are garbage. 🤦♀️
Sorry you relapsed. Hopefully all these illnesses will vanish once you move. Hugs 🤗
@@DiamondsandDobermans I agree, the drills are not great quality for the price point. 🤞 everything goes smoothly from here! Thanks for watching!!
Congrats on the house!! There is a quality company in Quebec that I get some really nice canvases from. It is called JaCaRou.

Just a thought, have you considered connecting with other Canadian TH-cam people to get more insight on where you can shop for DP supplies, etc? Like maybe BevBee? She’s in Edmonton, so a far cry away from you, but she may be a good resource? Ps. Congratulations on finding a house. You sound much more chill in this W&C.
@@graylagran7443 I have thought about, just haven’t done it yet! Thanks for watching!!
@ we have a lot of Canadian creators and connect with them ❤️
I purchased a "master" kit from Diamond Dotz. They had them on sale around the holidays. The big box was damaged in shipping, and I wouldn't use it anyway to work out of. I'm not sure when I'll get it done, but happy not to pay over $100 for it.

I can't remember if you said your new home has a basement or not. If it does, is that where you plan to set up your crafting area? If it doesn't, do you have a place picked out for it? I know you said you downsized in your new home.
@@catgranny It has a basement, but it’s not really usable for crafting. I think I have a perfect spot for crafting/filming, but we’ll see how it works out once we start moving in furniture. Thanks for watching!!
What are your son’s thoughts on becoming more independent? Getting a job to pay for a car and then maybe paying for converting the extra space into a living area for himself. 😀👍❤️
