UNBELIEVABLE!!! After an hour soak I cannot believe the CRUD that came out of that bowl!!!! After 3 years of non flushing the normal way and now it’s like a brand new toilet!!! So glad I found this clip!! HUGE THANK YOU!!!
FRANK! I was seriously stressed out today. I only have 1 bathroom and expecting guests to watch the game and was so worried that I was going to need to cancel. I followed you instructions and fixed the toilet all by myself and felt like a badass! You saved my get-together and you saved my wallet. We lost the game but I was happy anyway because of you. This little black lady in Alabama thanks you soooo much.
This deserves a comment because I followed the directions given perfectly, and you have no idea how incredibly well this method works. My toilet was not flushing well at all, so first I did the water bucket test. You take a bucket of water and pour it into the toilet and see if it goes through. If it does, then your toilet drainage is fine and it means your jet holes are caked with hard water build up. I tried vinegar, stuff from home depot (multiple different products) and none worked. Eventually, I stumbled on this video and I went and bought the acid and did it. It works incredibly well. Take all the safety precautions before doing this, such as wearing proper gloves, a mask, and using safety goggles. Other than that, always have baking soda near by. A little bit of research will show that baking soda "neutralizes" the acid so if you spill some by accident, just throw the baking soda on it. It will fizz and then stop and you're good to go. After you pour the acid into the overflow pipe, and you let it sit for 1 to 2 hours, and you're scared that it might ruin your piping, just add baking soda into the toilet bowl before you flush. You can also mix the baking soda with water and slowly put it into the toilet bowl, and as mentioned before, it will fizz and stop. Then you can flush it a few times and you're good to go. In reality, the acid does get diluted by the water so it wouldn't hurt your pipes, but since everyone has baking soda at home, it's an easy precaution to take. Many thanks for this tip. It works superbly!
Most likely, if you did the bucket test and it didn't go down, then you have another problem, not a hard water build up problem. Most likely a clog down somewhere.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! My husband followed your directions and it worked completely. We saved a LOT of money because we had a call in to the plumber and we were able to cancel it.
Thanks, Frank! This was the last of the tweaks "we" had to do to our toilet after a few trips to Home Depot for other issues. Happy to say that our toilet is finally running well! Hallelujah!
This absolutely works!! After 2 years of water not going down, trying every method in the book, this worked. I went to Menards and paid $3.99 for a gallon of Muriatic acid. I did this method, left the bathroom for an hour, and came back to some really black water in the toilet and a gas smell. I was a little worried, but I took the plastic off and flush! It all went down!! I am so excited. Thanks for this video.
It's been over a month since I used this FIX. The rejuvenated toilet still flushes as good as new and stays much cleaner because years of calcium buildup were eliminated by the muriatic acid . This approach worked perfectly and saved me a lot of time and expense. This is my second "Thank you" Frank . great work
Bro seriously I've been dealing with this problem for months. Holding my flush down to just get toilet paper to go down and forget taking a dump it didn't happen!! I was on my way to Lowe's for something else and decided to see if anything would help and your video popped up when I typed in my issue and brother it freaking worked beautifully!! I was thinking I was about to buy a new throne now it's like new for real!! And I did it to the rest of my toilets!! Thanks BIG 👍 up!!!🤙🤙
Great Video. 50 year old toilet. The build up in the main jet hole was so hard it felt like rock. I let it set for 1 1/2 hours . Wide open now and smooth as glass. Thanks for making it look simple. A+‼️
Ok I just followed your procedure exactly the way you did it. I let the muriatic acid sit for 60 minutes. All of debris had settled into the bottom of the toilet. I flushed it and it worked perfectly. I'm going to do the other toilets in the house as well to keep them clean and working perfectly. Thanks again great job
Dude: I was completely skeptical that this would work but I figured "what the heck" I had nothing to lose but a half gallon of my pool muriatic acid. I poured the acid down the fill tube and waited an hour. I skipped the saran wrap and plastic bag part and just turned on the vent and closed the door. Then came the moment of truth. Presto! That toilet was flushing like a champ. It was totally unbelievable. You saved me about $200 and a huge PITA. Now I can hardly wait to take a dump. You are the man!
Confirmed: WORKS! Mine was severely clogged and only took about a cup and a half of muriatic acid (all I had left over from a concrete painting job). Then I broke off the head of a toothbrush to clean out the jet after flushing 10 or so times first. works like new! Thanks Man!!
My sister's toilet was doing the exact same thing and she was about to buy a new one. I used this method and it's flushing like a champ now. Me and my brother-in-law looked like Breaking Bad handling the acid. Gloves, masks and goggles. Thanks!
My toilet has not flushed proper in 2 years. I have snaked the mainline.and ran water through the roof vent. Nothing worked . I used your method and it flushed perfect. The coolest solution to any problem I have ever seen. I was ready to buy a new toilet .Thanks
I have been fighting with this for months, until I found this video. I thought this was sort of nuts, but I tried it, and to my utter amazement, it actually worked! Thank you so much for posting this.
DUDE! You are a lifesaver. I'd like to thank you and your buddy the plumber for this fix. My toilet had this exact issue for months and I had tried just about everything. Followed your instructions, waited an hour and now it's flushing like there's no tomorrow. I'd give you 20 thumbs up on your video if it would let me.
I did this exactly as you showed us Frank, except I let the acid stay in there nearly two hours. I can not believe how well this worked. It has rejuvenated my toilet completely. Even the bottom of the bowl had lime on it and it was all gone when I flushed it. The toilet looks pristine (if one can say that about a toilet). I am flushing it over and over to dilute the acid and will put some Rid-X in the bowl tomorrow. Thanks a lot Frank. Amid some of the more questionable solutions on TH-cam yours was a great and relatively cheap fix.
OMG. You were spot on. My toilet was flushing slowly and I was thinking of replacing it. This procedure worked perfectly and the toilet now flushes like new and fully in 3 seconds. Thank You
Had the same problem for months. Thought I would have to get a new toilet. I tried this technique. My toilet is now flushing normal. Thanks so much for sharing,
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video! i saw it late last night and tried it with bleach cuz thats all i had on me at the time, but it didnt work too well. so today i went out and bought muriatic acid and IT WORKED!! my landlord has been giving me the run around for a long time saying she'd get someone out here to fix the toilet and they would never come. it would only flush right maybe half the time. my toilet got exceptionally bad in the last week where it wouldnt go down at all, so i tried your method and it worked like a charm! thank you again!!
Having the same problem, I'd been searching for a solution and found it. It works! Muriatic acid not only fixed the problem but also got rid of the toilet stains. Thank for sharing the helpful tip.
Bro, you just saved the day. I’ve taken my toilet off 5 times trying to find a clog but there just isn’t one. A little muriatic did the trick!! Thank you!!!
Anyone knocking this guy is a jerk. Great fix. In 90 minutes, his video saved me at least $300 for a new toilet + labor and parts. Worked exactly as advertised. Thank you, thank you , and thank you.
Frank, thank you so much, I had snaked my toilet from the main line, cleared the vent stacks, replaced the wax ring and tank to bowl gasket. Even looked at new toilets this morning. I still had the same issue. After watching your video, I got the muratic acid, put in the toilet as described. Let it sit 2 hours just to make sure. And wonders of all wonders, my toilet flushed properly. I flushed it 6 times just to make sure, lol. Again, thank you for the video. I also told my plumber buddy about it, in case he runs into this issue.
I wish I could give 2 thumbs up on TH-cam. I have been using a pitcher for a for time, not wanting to hire a plumber or get a new toilet. This worked like a charm! I am floored by how immediate this fixe was and I've tried everything else. THANKS!
Add us to the list ... IT WORKED! Mulled over the muriatic acid vs. the vinegar, but ultimately went with the acid (Menards for $3.99). We used about 1/3 of the gallon and let it sit for about 3 hours. The added bonus was that it also cleaned the ugly brown (hard water) stains at the bottom of the bowl that looked like who-know-what. But the tank is still only filling about halfway, so I think we need a new filler mechanism. Thank you so much for this video!
Had a new toilet in car ready to install when I thought I should make one more attempt to find a solution. Knew I could manually flush by pouring water into bowl so it had to be a problem with guts of the toilet. Flapper all worked but it was obvious there's wasn't enough push/pull (siphoning) to clear the bowl. This fixed it. Basically a brand new toilet. Thanks so much! Time to return the $200 toilet in the car.
Just tried this today AND IT WORKED !!!! THANKS for the great solution. Folks you can buy the acid that has 90% less odor at Ace Hardware for 9.99 a gallon. VERY LITTLE ODOR. I suggest wearing gloves and goggles in case ANY acid happens to SPLASH. This just saved me over 200.00 bucks, I was going to replace toilet.
If you are going to be using acid ALWAYS but always and I can't say it enough ALWAYS wear glasses, gloves and mask. One very small splash accidentally bounces off and lands in your eyes you are done for good. Just keeping it real. Loved the video, thanks.
We love you! You saved us from buying a toilet. We did everything !!! Literally. My husband just pulled the damn thing out & replaced the wax seal. Then I looked for you
Dude, great video, step by step, clear instructions, week done!!! Anyone can follow this!! I was soooo frustrated, i was ready to buy a new toilet. Great job! Thank you!
Very Cool. Thank you very much. I was getting ready to pull the toilet and perhaps replace it. Just like you said, $10 worth of materials and a little time and my toilet flushes just like it did when it was new. Very cool!
Use hot vinegar, let sit overnight if you have another toilet. The acid works but if your on a septic it's not good for the system or the toilet. Vinegar works well and if you use it once a month on a troublesome toilet the problem should stay under control. Might also consider a softener system if you have hard water that is where you build up comes from
I was (very) skeptical but it works! It did solve my slow flushing toilet. I was close to replace it after trying many other things. I followed his instructions verbatim. Note: the muriatic fume is quite intense so be sure to bring fresh air in the room. Thanks!
This is genius!!! We just moved into a rental home that had been sitting vacant for a few months. I didn’t think about the suction being a problem or even calcium being built up over that time until seeing this. The purpose of the wrap and rubber band/bag is to create suction. This creates an outside vacuum to remove any of the (unwanted) air pockets, while simultaneously forcing a cleaning product into the line.
Yes, confirmed my toilet problem solved quite easily! Thanks a lot for sharing the video and the solution to solve the problem. I had the similar problem and was at the verge of replacing the toilet after a plumber came and replaced some parts but to no improvement. Great relief!
Hey, love ya man! You just saved me $400! I have a custom gray-colored toilet to match my tiles, over 25 years old, about to give up and buy a new one. I did your $10 trick and HOLY CRAP (literally!) It WORKED!!!
Great solution for a very inconvenient issue. My toilet water would just swirl and not flush. I really recommend this solution works perfectly! Make sure to follow all safety “rules” to not hurt yourself. Thank you!
I got creative for a 2nd story bathroom/vent pipe. Pipe snake encountered no resistance so I poured a half gallon of Walmart Great Value Drain Cleaner Maximum Strength dissolves tough clogs fast Professional Strength Gel from the roof down the vent pipe. Instructions say wait 30 minutes and then follow up with hot water to wash it through. I waited almost 2 hours and then went back up there with 2 buckets (3 gallons) of hot water and poured them down. Checked the toilet and there was still no flushing. I figured I'd have to call someone and had been beaten. 3 HOURS LATER, after telling the gf to not use that toilet, she was sitting on the couch and I was in the kitchen when I suddenly heard what sounded like someone flushing the toilet upstairs. It sounded like there was 20 feet of full pipe flushing down. Sure enough the toilet started flushing again. Just to check, I put about 15 gallons of water down that toilet and it went down with no problems at all. Monday I'll be doing the other smaller vent pipe for the toilet directly below this one. The drain cleaner was less than $6.00 a bottle.
Why did I not look you up sooner?? I snaked mine, removed the seat and poured drain chemical, nothing! Was about to give up and replace the whole thing. Can't thank you enough!
Man!!! I did work! I lost hope, but came across your video and it just worked after the first fill! Much appreciate for sharing the idea! Greetings from Canada!
Nobody cares where you come from. We know youtube exists in more than one country. And before you hate for the wrong reasons, I'm canadian to. Still lame.
Amazing. It worked great. I did make a mistake of not draining the bowl first. I waited about an hour and nothing happened. I then realized that the jet at the bottom of the bowl was getting too much diluted acid. I then drained the bowl and tried it again- that was the answer. I also used the "green" acid which had very little odor and worked great. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I did everything you showed except not put baggy over overflow tube and instead of M. acid i used 2 tablespoons of baking soda followed by 1 quart of vinegar and it worked. Was afraid of using M. acid because I have a septic tank. Very happy it worked--thank you.
The fix with the vinegar lasted for a day, then I reamed out the jets (the little holes up inside the rim of bowl) with a piece of coat hanger wire by hand to get more scale out of them and the flush is better.
Very Nice Sheri, Keep in mind the acid is for really bad clogs, I to did the vinegar and baking soda and also did the dawn dish soap a few times and none of them worked for me. The acid really makes them new again. Thanks for the feedback!
Frank Sweet How about using citric acid? I used to use vinegar, then heard about citric acid. I use food grade citric acid to dissolve all the scale residue left on my stainless steel water distiller pot. I got a 5 pound bag for 15 bucks on Amazon. I use about 3 heaping tablespoons for the gallon pot, fill with water and run it through the 4 hour cycle. Pot comes out looking brand new. So I'm thinking vinegar and baking soda is the least effective, next is citric acid then most effective the muriatic acid??
I have a septic system too. You can use muriatic acid but after it has done its work and BEFORE you flush the toilet, add about half a pound of baking soda to the bowl to neutralize the muriatic acid. Mix the baking soda with the muriatic acid gently with a toilet brush and then flush. I got that hint from Tim Carter at his website, "Ask the Builder'. You shouldn't have to ream out the jets with coat hanger wire!
Thomas Campbell Ok, thanks for the baking soda neutralize tip. Wish I'd known this a few days ago. I just did mine with muriatic acid and I'm all fixed. Working like new again. What problems do we have if we don't neutralize with baking soda??
YES YES YES HAHAHAHA aw man 4th of July today was thinking of getting somebody out here. I have a huge party on Saturday and It’s my main bathroom. Anyways shot over to a pool supply store for the acid and whamo 45 mins later it’s like a brand new toilet Thank you sir.
I can tell you how I fixed both of mine, two new Kohler's took care of it, if you pull that handle while setting, you better have a good grip on something close by, or your headed down the pipe !
It worked! Thank you for helping me solve this problem in our home. It was easy and it did the trick the first time. I have now learned something new. I noticed no smell but I did wear gloves to protect myself. Again, Thanks!
Same issue. Can’t figure out what the hells going on. Thought it was the plunger. I’ll try it though. EDIT: Update, it worked. Thank you. Toilet clean as hell now!
Thanks for this video Frank!! It worked for me too! I tried to solve the problem with other so-called solutions. I wish I would have tried your way sooner ... instead we lived for months without being able to flush the toilet without dumping water in the bowl. Finally we were shopping for a new toilet and I came across your video and decided that this was my last option before replacing the toilet. I followed your steps, making sure all the water was out of the bowl before putting the half-gallon of muriatic acid in. I didn't tape the saran wrap, but put a few layers of saran wrap on. I waited over an hour and was amazed that it FLUSHED!!!!!! Plus, all of the stains we couldn't get off with any other cleaner (or elbow grease) was now gone. I didn't need to waste my time trying to clean out all of the jets one by one (but didn't solve the problem) like I had done in the past. You saved us money and time ... and for that our family is grateful! Thanks for sharing your video!
this is probably by far the best TH-cam video I've ever seen I've had problems with my toilet forever wasn't clogged and same issue tried this and it works great now 20 minutes later it's like a new toilet I wish I would have seen this sooner
Thank you Frank Sweet for saving me from replacing the toilet...I did need to take a small pipe cleaner brush and unblock the jet port in the toilet to complete the fix..but it now works great..and yes the fumes are very strong from the muriatic acid so a mask is a must have...and the acid will not hurt plastic pipes as it comes in a plastic bottle from the store..good luck everyone🙂👍
OMG!!!! I just did this and it worked. I've been paying plumbers for years to fix this issue with my guest toliet. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you so much for sharing this information.
Thank you dude!!!! Totally worked and I’ve been snaking and clring and all sorts of bs to no avail. Saved me some bucks and injected a bit of pride in fixing my own stuff! Cheers!
Thank You So Very Much.. On Guam just to get the plummer cost over 100.00 and thats fixing the problem or not. Your method worked and operates like new. Tell your plummer friend Thank You as well for helping the working man out with their secret.
We used the gloves and clear the small whole inside the toilet from the sediment buildup, used an old toothbrush handle. Less than couple minutes it works like a champ.
It shouldnt do anything to the plastic pipes like ABS ive used that acid to dissolve concrete left over in shower or toilet drains. it dissolves the concrete and doesnt affect the ABS plastic
I've been using TH-cam for a while now when I have computer issues and other general questions. Somehow, I have always managed to find what I need to help with my problem. I too, along with others, was just about to go out and buy another toilet bowl and then look for a local plumber. (My toilet is 32 years old. It came with the house and I am the second owner). I was looking for a way to turn off Cortana completely on the new Windows 10 update and while I found my answer which annoyed me tremendously, I all of a sudden had a lightbulb moment. Why not as a goof try and see if someone else is having the same problem as I am having when I flush my toilet !! This is how I stumbled onto your video!! I watched it a few times and then read most of the comments. After some thought, I decided to give it a try. I followed your directions to the letter and I waited for an hour and then did three flushes before I took off the saran wrap. There was a lot of black deposits inside the bowl so I kind of knew that was the problem for my toilet. It worked perfectly !!! Much thanks Frank !! (Laughed my way through some of those crappy comments !!! Great reading while I waited for my hour to count down. Hahahaha !!! :D ) Thanks again!
I agree with you 100%! BUT . . . WEAR EYE PROTECTION !!! TAKE CARE NOT TO SPLASH !!! WEAR LONG PANTS !!! DON'T BREATHE ACID FUMES (they WILL eat your lungs) !!!
A man who cares and doesn't want to capitalize off others or waste other people's time and money and see them be duped. Just finished doing this muriatic acid cleanse on ours. Seems much better but haven't done a big #2 poop in it yet for the real test. Can't wait. UPDATE// Well, it works 👍 great !! Flushing beautiful like new!!!
Frank Sweet I know. It's a strange question indeed. But there's all types out there. Be careful. Happy 4th. Thanks again. So glad I stumbled on your video.
THANK YOU... THANK YOU... THANK YOU... I had problems with my toilet bowl here also and after seeing your video did as close as possible the same procedure you showed us.... THANK YOU FRIEND... I'm sure we all do for sharing this with us... GOD BLESS YOU MAN.
This worked perfectly. I used the whole bottle of muriatic acid, which I purchased at Home Depot. Be sure to close the bathroom door. The odor was horrible after an hour. I could tell the acid worked, based upon the materials in the bowl. The toilet flushed perfectly. I will use this in the future.
Google User I know plumbers that have been doing this for many years it does not mess anything up if u follow the right steps like the way he’s doing it but the smell is very strong and it works wonders no damages my uncle use to do this many many years ago never had a problem
Worked! You just saved me from going bankrupt and a divorce
😂😂😂
Dats fucced up😭
Hahahahah
Dang 😂
Lmfao 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣
I appreciate anyone making videos to try and help other people

Frank Sweet where can I buy this acid at ?
@@DMONEY6191904 Obviously not much of a hustler if you need to ask. Try ANY hardware store, genius.
@@DMONEY6191904 Home Depot,Lowe's, or any Pool Suppy Place.
This deserves a comment because I followed the directions given perfectly, and you have no idea how incredibly well this method works. do you know if this will work well for a septic system as well?
I am not sure because I've never had an issue with a septic system. However, If it's a flushing issue, and not a clogged pipe, this should work fine.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! My husband followed your directions and it worked completely. We saved a LOT of money because we had a call in to the plumber and we were able to cancel it.
This is by far the best video out there demonstrating how to safely use muriatic acid to clean up the clogged rim holes. Thank you!
Thanks, Frank! This was the last of the tweaks "we" had to do to our toilet after a few trips to Home Depot for other issues. Happy to say that our toilet is finally running well! Hallelujah!

lol i feel ya

Hey Richard I remember a while back when I did the same thing you did. Drove me crazy. I'm glad I could help. Thanks for your comments.
Worked like a charm! That acid sure does smell, for sure need a mask and a funnel. 75% better! Saved me plumber cost!
I wish I could give 2 thumbs up on TH-cam. I have been using a pitcher for a for time, not wanting to hire a plumber or get a new toilet. This worked like a charm! I am floored by how immediate this fixe was and I've tried everything else. THANKS!
Thank you Dark Hours of Day I'm glad I can help!
You just saved me a good hour of labor replacing a toilet in one of my vacant units. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video!
my tiolet is the same brown stains that keep coming back will try muractic acid tomorrow
This just saved me over 200.00 bucks, I was going to replace toilet.
schroedzilla Thanks! I wouldn't have thought to look at Ace!
Maybe I need to try it again cause it still not getting the job done
I followed your instructions. They worked like charm. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.
If you are going to be using acid ALWAYS but always and I can't say it enough ALWAYS wear glasses, gloves and mask. One very small splash accidentally bounces off and lands in your eyes you are done for good. Just keeping it real.
Loved the video,thanks.
just have to flush eyes real good. not fatal.
@@tellmesomething2go Lol, yeah! NOT fatal but blind for life.
@@MrElPoderozo1 yea, right.
Thanks for the comment MrElpoderozo1.
@@MrElPoderozo1 You're thinking of the brown acid
We love you! You saved us from buying a toilet. We did everything !!! Literally. My husband just pulled the damn thing out & replaced the wax seal. Then I looked for you
Your an absolute legend!!!!!! I was about to replace my toilet thays only 6 years old.. Wow thanks
That's Awesome Joshua, Glad I could help.
Very cool!
Awesome! Love to hear!!!
This works phenomenal! I have muratic acid it's about 15 years old. Never used it until now. Thank you for your knowledge
I loooove this!!! I have been dealing with flushing problems for years & this actually fixed it!!!! Thank you!!!!
Man, i tried vinegar didnt work, tried CLR, that didnt work.. So i tried this as a last straw, it freakin worked! Thank you
Thank you so much! Our toilet hasn't flushed well for years and this fix really worked. I was ready to replace it till I tried this.
This worked for me. The acid was $9 from Lowes. 97 cents for a funnel from Walmart. And wrap we already had. Thanks for the quick fix.
Use hot vinegar, let sit overnight if you have another toilet. The acid works but if your on a septic it's not good for the system or the toilet. Vinegar works well and if you use it once a month on a troublesome toilet the problem should stay under control. Might also consider a softener system if you have hard water that is where you build up comes from
Ty!
Thank you man, it worked great!!! I like the seran wrap covering the toilet. thank you again.
This worked for me, because of buildup it took longer, but worked as you said. THANKS
Did you turn off the water from the beginning. I feel like I missed that part
Yes, confirmed my toilet problem solved quite easily! Thanks a lot for sharing the video and the solution to solve the problem. I had the similar problem and was at the verge of replacing the toilet after a plumber came and replaced some parts but to no improvement. Great relief!
Just fixed my fancy 1947 toilet I really didn't want to part with for less than 10 bucks. Thanks !
Nice instructions. Tried this a few months ago and it solved the problem of the bowl not clearing on the first flush.
Hey, love ya man! You just saved me $400! I have a custom gray-colored toilet to match my tiles, over 25 years old, about to give up and buy a new one. I did your $10 trick and HOLY CRAP (literally!) It WORKED!!!
So this really works? I'm in a similar situation, toilet is only 2 years old and is not flushing properly.
Great solution for a very inconvenient issue. My toilet water would just swirl and not flush. I really recommend this solution works perfectly! Make sure to follow all safety “rules” to not hurt yourself. Thank you!
Thank you so much. My husband did it today and our toilet now flushes.
Awesome, Thanks for the feedback!
I have to admit I was skeptical at first only because nothing ever works for me. But this absolutely 100% worked. Thank you.
Well, we followed Frank's instructions and it worked ! Toilet is working great...thank you Frank Sweet !
Why did I not look you up sooner?? I snaked mine, removed the seat and poured drain chemical, nothing! Was about to give up and replace the whole thing. Can't thank you enough!
I followed your instructions to the letter and it worked like a charm! Thank you!
My American standard toilet was only four years old. Did the same thing you described so I tried the muradic acid and it worked great Thanks.
Amazing! My toilet wouldn't flush right for 6 months I had no idea it was the jets. I tried your method dominated! I thank you so much!
Awesome Chris, Glad I could help!
Man!!!
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I followed your directions and now my toilet works perfectly! Great video!
Awesome Dooney78!!!!
Thanks for the tip. I will remember that technique next time I have toilet problems.
Amazing ! We just finally fixed our flushing problem too! Thank you so much for sharing the demo and tip. Love it!
YES YES YES HAHAHAHA aw man 4th of July today was thinking of getting somebody out here. I have a huge party on Saturday and It’s my main bathroom. Anyways shot over to a pool supply store for the acid and whamo 45 mins later it’s like a brand new toilet
Thank you sir.
It works. This is the best solution you'll ever find. Thanks brother.
Just did mine and it's so clean 😁
I did this last night and has it flushing like brand new and looking brand new. Thank You!!!!
Thank you I just fixed my parents toilet using this video!! You rock!!
Justin, Thanks for the nice comments happy I could help.
Did this today, just happened to have some muriatic acid around. Let's just say it was gross (what came out).! Thanks a bunch!
this is probably by far the best TH-cam video I've ever seen I've had problems with my toilet forever wasn't clogged and same issue tried this and it works great now 20 minutes later it's like a new toilet I wish I would have seen this sooner
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Josh,
Fuck yeah! 5 years later & your still helping folks! Appreciate it mane!
Just tried this out, you just saved us a couple hundred dollars!!! Thank you so much. Highly recommend this
Karen Compean did this make your house smell like rotten eggs?
Thank you Frank Sweet for saving me from replacing the toilet...I did need to take a small pipe cleaner brush and unblock the jet port in the toilet to complete the fix..but it now works great..and yes the fumes are very strong from the muriatic acid so a mask is a must have...and the acid will not hurt plastic pipes as it comes in a plastic bottle from the store..good luck everyone🙂👍
the type of plastic makes a huge difference. hydrochloric acid is totally safe in some plastics, but will eat right through others
OMG!!!! I just did this and it worked. I've been paying plumbers for years to fix this issue with my guest toliet. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you so much for sharing this information.
Thank you for sharing this idea. I fixed my toilet finally!
Thank you dude!!!! Totally worked and I’ve been snaking and clring and all sorts of bs to no avail. Saved me some bucks and injected a bit of pride in fixing my own stuff! Cheers!
This surprisingly worked like a charm. Thanks making and sharing the video. 🙌
Thanks Michael!
Thank You So Very Much.. On Guam just to get the plummer cost over 100.00 and thats fixing the problem or not. Your method worked and operates like new. Tell your plummer friend Thank You as well for helping the working man out with their secret.
I dont agree
We used the gloves and clear the small whole inside the toilet from the sediment buildup, used an old toothbrush handle. Less than couple minutes it works like a champ.
Thanks so much! I had a plumber tell me to just replace my toilet. I am glad I watched this video first. Saved me $200
Good video. When you flush the acid, be sure to flush several times after to dilute the acid which is in your sewer pipe.
Yes sir!! Great point. Thanks.
It shouldnt do anything to the plastic pipes like ABS ive used that acid to dissolve concrete left over in shower or toilet drains. it dissolves the concrete and doesnt affect the ABS plastic
Is it possible older homes could have clay pipes with cement joints?
Boris Thank you very much! !
Yes older homes need to flush many times to clear out the acid. It will react and cause major problems with clay joint compound as well as black pipe.
Awesome Reggie, Glad this video helped. Thanks for the nice feedback I appreciate it.
I agree with you 100%! BUT . . . WEAR EYE PROTECTION !!! TAKE CARE NOT TO SPLASH !!! WEAR LONG PANTS !!! DON'T BREATHE ACID FUMES (they WILL eat your lungs) !!!
I watched dozens of videos yours was the only one that helped thanks bro you saved me lots of money
Thanks!
This quick fix worked PERFECTLY! my hats off to you, good sir. You are truely a god amounst men.
Thanks Chris!
What concern did u use?? It comes in many ways. I don't know which one to get
Hi Animal Mother, I'm confused with your question.
Thank You!
If you have cast iron plumbing you severely fucked some shit up.
Dude you're lucky the toilet didn't crack. You should never use a chemical drain opener in a toilet.
Google User I know plumbers that have been doing this for many years it does not mess anything up if u follow the right steps like the way he’s doing it but the smell is very strong and it works wonders no damages my uncle use to do this many many years ago never had a problem
Google User no we just did it a week ago and I still had to manually clean out the Jett’s with a metal pick so it didn’t exactly do the total job
Thanks you!! I was going crazy because my toilet wouldn't flush! Big help man!
