Lets face it. The whole show is about the growth of Regina as a character.
Yep i always considered the show to be Regina's story but from Emma's point of view xD And the fact that Regina ended the show herself and was basically the main character at the end and the last season was perfect !

You are absolutely correct it's a show about how Regina has never had to face the consequences of choices she made ,how if you look sympathetic and whine about how your life isn't fair you escape punishment, and a show about a woman who massacred and entire village of innocent people and countless others, who never had to face real punishment for those choices, gets rewarded for her bad behavior. It is truly a show to aspire to.

The episode where we find out Regina's backstory with Daniel is what honestly made me see Regina in a whole different light. How evil isn't inherited but learned. She wasn't evil cuz she was born that way or even for the pettiest reason she was a good person but driven to self loathing and for her to commit genocide, murder, and control over everything as queen. But I wanted her to be redeemed as soon as I found out what she was like back in her past. It's why I enjoy once upon a time at a second viewing because I never realized how complex these characters get since I was only 13 when the show premiered and I wasn't aware of story tropes and character development. This show tells us that no one is truly good or truly bad we're all human and get driven to do good or bad.

Belle was the most underrated character of all the main characters. Her role was amazing, she always helped them defeat every villain, and she kept Rumple from taking revenge on Hook for taking his girl

@@books4life846 It's interesting to watch the Black Fairy as Emma is singing her song. I remember watching the first time and thinking, why is she just standing there watching Emma? Why isn't she trying to stop her, beyond that first blast of magic? But I think that was the whole point -- for perhaps the first time in her life, her magic just wasn't strong enough. Or perhaps it was just the first time someone had actually stood up to her.
There's a really intriguing moment toward the end of "The Final Battle Part 1" where Henry tries to get Emma to take the book, believing it would rekindle her belief in magic. If you watch Fiona during that scene, you'll see that this was THE LAST thing she wanted Emma to do. She literally tries to tuck the book away before Emma simply snatches it from her. She knew her entire plan could have come undone right at that moment. Then we see her smile at Henry from behind Emma's back, as if to say, "You almost had me there, Henry. Nice try." Fortunately for her, her curse had already done enough damage.

I found the episode about little Owen and his dad ending up in storybrook at the start of the curse really heartbreaking. The scene where the dad is yelling for him to go and when Owen says to Regina he didn't want to stay like this had me teary-eyed

One of my personal saddest moments is After Emma and Hook find out they share true love Emma has to leave Hook in the underworld. Another two are Hooks death scene and the marriage break up.
Another heartbreaking scene is Robins death scene. Or Graham’s they never really addressed that Regina killed him they mentioned his name once or twice throughout the series after his death but Emma never found out Regina killed Graham. or Belle’s death that scene was also heartbreaking.. 💔

S7 Rumples sacrifice was a very emotional scene and even though s7 wasn’t the most amazing season this scene was the most emotional moment! 😭

I am binge watching this show on Netflix right now, I absolutely LOVE it and wish it would come back Although what they did with the character of belle is criminal. Her toxic relationship with rumple is infuriating to watch so I cheered when he was banished. He was a good villain, but his relationship with belle was just bad and he was given way too much power.

The moment that stuck with me was Snow finally giving into the dark side and killing Cora in season 2. I loved that fleeting moment when Regina and her mother, finally with her heart, looked at each other full with joy and happiness and how is quickly crushed when Cora dies instead of Rumple, a regretful Snow appears and an enraged Regina realizes that she has lost another loved one because of Snow. And her denying Snow's pleas for death is the icing on the cake.

Robin's death felt like I was being stabbed a million times it is the all-time devastating moment
the saddest moment for me was the moment when the credits started rolling from the very last episode... EVER!!! I miss that show so much. for me its by far Neal's death (i was sobbing), when Snow had to crush David's heart to defeat Zelena's curse, when Robin and Regina had to say goodbye at the border of Storybrooke and when Emma had to kill Hook to get rid of the dark one. I was sobbing uncontrollably in all of these and they still make me cry to this day

1. Robin's death

3. Regina's death (when everyone was trapped within the book world Walt created)
4. When Grumpy (or Dreamy at the time) had to break Lily's heart. It's especially painful when you watch the Good Morning Storybrooke featurette and see them meet up after the curse is broken. Rather than try and give their relationship a second chance, Grumpy just shoots her down...AGAIN!
5. Neal's death
6. When Hades tricked Auntie Em into drinking water from Lethe (the River of Souls)
7. When Ruby accidentally killed Peter in her wolf form
8. When Lady Tremaine (AKA Rapunzel) threw the storybook into the incinerator
9. When Henry took a bite from the poisoned apple turnover and Emma thought he died
10. When Snow drank that potion that killed her love and caused her to act mean towards everyone
(Honorable Mention: When Rumple sacrificed himself to destroy the Dark One)
Speaking of Lady Tremaine, there's also the moment she shatters Lucy's belief in order to get the tear necessary to revive Anastasia. Not necessarily top ten for me, but still pretty sad.

Daniel’s death wasn’t the saddest. He was in like 3 scenes in one episode before he died. Major characters’ death are sadder.
I do get what you're saying. But Daniel's death was sad, because you knew how much he meant to Regina. He was only in one episode but that episode did a good job of making you really feel it when he died. In my opinion of course. You are free to your opinion

One of the saddest things is the way they treated Ivy. She could have had a great season 7 arc, but it was disappointing. Especially with her obvious chemistry with Henry.

Great list Ms Mojo! Snow's sobs as she gives Emma up, and the way she drags herself to find Charming is so heartbreaking. That *always* makes me cry! Emma killing Hook and then reviving him by turning him into The Dark One (everything he hates and has spent centuries trying to avenge), is the most heartbreaking for me. Emma's ''that's not good enough for me!'' was so powerful. And the whole Emma is the Dark One storyline, with Merlin and Nimue was fantastic. I agree with Bae/Rumple's story arc, the way he chose the darkness over his son was a decision that haunted Rumple for the rest of his life. And poor Balefire. He lost his mom to Captain Hook, and then he lost his Dad to the darkness.
Starting the series with A mother having to give her child away really sets the stage for what is in store for the series

maleficent scenes in which she's sad and desperate because of her child lost and ingrid's sacrifice were the most painful for me to watch
Everybody does everybody remember me it's really nice to see Miss Mojo represent Once Upon a Time still and this was a great video they really made you feel sad at the sad moments I totally forgot about those moments are probably the one of my favorite parts of the show
Robin,Neal,Rumple’s Sacrificial death and Belle’s death made me cry so much 😭

Other big ones for me are when MM and David couldn't be awake at the same time and left eachother notes and videos, when Emma saw her would-be nursery in season 2 and Snow said "get used to it" after hugging her, when Emma talked to her mom about her shitty life in Neverland and said "an orphan", when Emma lived with Ingrid and found out she was going to be adopted just to have it all fall apart, when Mulan went to tell Aurora her feelings for her and found out Aurora was pregnant. And more that's all I got right now😂
The end to Belle’s story was so touching and I think they did it so well. The fact that it was UP-based too still kills me. 😭

The most heartbreaking moments of OUAT for me:
1) when Snow and Regina learned how Queen Ava died then Cora kills Snow handmaid in front of her with no remorse on Snow birthday
2) when Robin died
3) when Belle died
4) when Neal/Baelfire died
5) when Cora killed Daniel in front of Regina eyes
6) when Zelena had to kill Hades, the only man she truly loved
7) when Snow learned that Marco lied about how many could be in the wardrobe. She was angry and slapped the mess out of Marco
yeah but Snow got payback and killed Cora

Once Upon A Time is my most favourite show. I'm happy I voted for this. And I agree, Daniel's murder was the saddest moment.
Also, I didn't feel sorry for Rumple when Belle forced him over the town line.
