Same!!

I went to school with Dave Adams, he was a charming fellow. He was a great story teller and bit of a fun guy to converse with. Great to see he's doing this.
While laying under the sand for arthritis, the audience of locals viewing your adventure are saying look at the idiot, LOL!
Right🤣
The Machine-gun toten, widows-peaked Russian guy, @ 2:43:44, belongs in Hollywood. That tiny hint of a smirk is absolutely priceless.
This man is the real life Indiana Jones.
That's a good way to put it 😂
Wow I listen to these to sleep as well! I also rewatch awake lol. I go back to the last thing I remember the next night.
Waking up to skip annoying ads that play during interesting sentences
So good. Can't get enough of these types of documentaries. Envious of David. For sure!
Those Pakistani trucks are something else, lol....good stuff!
Take a drink each time he says shang-rila 😂
Loved every minute of this show. Thank you very much for making it David and others who worked on it.
Some of these people are still worried about Ghengis Khan. You can see it in their faces. What a trip! I admire your courage to be willing to go to these places. Fantastic video at 3:30 AM
I think that they're more worried about civil unrest that Ghengis Khan.
@@jessiehermit9503 No its Ghengis. They're not very up to date
Organized Crime - that is why, my friend. They have a mafia in a weak economy - which makes them weaker.
@@seadog915Try explaining how their weakened economy from breaking up Soviet Union would give you right to say they were out of fashion. 3:20:10 Frankly, I think bad US politicians were flexing their muscles wanting war because they spent so much on military. US bombed a Russian nuclear submarine before the wall was torn down. I think good people switched their efgorts by telling Gorbachev to tear down the wall - just so there would be no war. And they only reason they wanted war is for
PROFIT - THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX.

Thank you for this virtual educational tour.
Hi Today is my birthday 🎂 🎉

Amazing!!!! I would love to travel like this. Thank you for your very real and raw videos!
I am disabled and have had severe chronic pain for 37+ years, but how else would I have ever been able to see such a magnificence? I most certainly owe this man inctredible respect for having fulfilled over 3 hours of my daily life with some of the best content I could have ever hoped for. Yes, I would love to go there myself but if i don't have that option, at least i have a close 2nd option to still explore this incredible journey.
So far I have finished the first part-Sudan and more than anything else the filming is truly impressive.
I love David Adams documentaries. I wish he was still producing them.
Do you kno what happened hm? Why he stopped making his documentaries?
@@beneiseoleinmheart5614David and his business partner are running Arcadia Expoditions an adventure tour company.
Love the story telling while visiting the
People and engaging with their rituals.
Also the scenery.
These stories are rarely told in the United States. I had no idea about the Sudan pyramids
The early Egyptians were black, all came from Kush (Sudan) To Kemet (Modern day Egypt) they also built the paramids in "Egypt" before it was "Egypt"by the Pharaoh Khufu who was also Black African, If you look at all the statutes and even the Sphinx they all have wide noses wide lips, to which most were damaged to cover up the fact they were black, and it still goes on today, they don't want" Blacks" having any history, meanwhile the Ancient Greeks learned from them and even say it themselves in their memoirs/writings, which is Also covered up!.. Now the Arabs are trying to take credit and now want to separate from Africa, and it may just happen!
@@markusc9417 wow 😯
Oh yeah, more pyramids than Egypt, and we believe that's where ancient Egyptians civilization started, then moved to north
Upper and lower Egypt are totally two different places ,and are
Like night and day .Lower Egypt was run like any other city we have today, while upper Egypt was run by exclusively nubians who fought wars against those colonisers who came as the hyksos and the Sea ppl who was known as the Phonecians, not forgetting the Persians and Arabs who ran lower Egypt for hundreds ,if not thousands of years.
@@ashleyogarro2686If you are talking about antiquity, you have it very wrong. It was the north that had to constantly do battle, southern Egypt was a nightmare to get to, Cairo is right there on the Mediterranean, & thats where all the invasions occured. & before these invasions , the population of the people weren't that diffrent from upper Egypt, the Greeks can attest to that . There were the " Native " Egyptians & the rapidly " mixed " population. The southern Egyptians today , were the native Egyptians of the past. You can look at all the busts of the Pharoahs, all the evidence hides in plain sight.
If you get a chance, there are photos & Video of Egypt between 1860 & 1925 online. If you watch them , even at that late date, you can see Native Egyptians everywhere , in the north & the south. It has really been an atrocity what has happened to the native population, as they have been shoved into smaller & smaller areas , by a very racist Arab culture. A culture that had very little to do with the very African ancient Egypt & Nubia. They both were African populations, but they try to sell it as ancient Egyptians always looked like what we see in the north today , while" Nubians " were the " Black " Africans.
Anyone who has any eyes Van just pull up the most important Pharoahs ...Narmer , Djoser, Djedefre, Khufu, Sesostris ( 1,2 & 3 ) Amenemhat ( 12 & 3 ) , Akhenaton , Amenhotep 3 & many others , they were all black Africans.
Do me a favor , go Google the hiroglyph for " face " , see what comes up .
& here is a partial busts of Amenhotep 3, the most powerful Pharoah ever.

Wow, this history video is awesome! Very interesting to watch! 🎬👏
Watched the full series in different segments today. Fascinating, educational, and a pleasure to observe. Exceptional, and with thanks.
Very well worded 🤌🏽
Very well done, Ty.
I just asked some Australian kids if they knew where the Sudan is and what kind of animals they might find there. They had no clue, except that it is somewhere in Africa.

Great shower base! I got a couple of questions for you if I may? 1. What is happening about Leo's formal education? Are you home schooling or does he attend a local schoo (I'm guessing his Bulgarian is probably still fairl basif yet)?
Secondly guys, can anybody come and volunteer to help you out? I live in Poole as it happens and am a retired nurse and passionate woodworker with my own tools and a tent🤣 and would love to help if I could (for the love of it obviously ) I have advanced DBS clearance (you've got kids after all), but I'm genuine in my offer if I could help in any way.
I caught episode 1 purely because I was searching for films of Bournemouth in my childhood cuz I'm in a couple and your vlog came up in the search and I was hooked.
Hope to heqr from you.

love this MY favorite way to learn history.!!!!!!!!!
Excellent!
So sad to see the demise of the wonderful steam river boats
What an incredible Man you are. To travel all these places you actually exceed Josh Gates. I'm from Cape Town and been an Airhostes for 35 years. Been to Lake Titicaca, India...ok ..only Mumbai and Goa. What a brave man you are. Besides the Cape to Cairo. There has been railway lines and airplanes stopping in Khartoum. So privileged to see this program ans the effort you put it together with will keep me flying forever..

Im always interested what cute travel companion he will find this time. 😂
Doesn’t always happen but he seems plenty lucky!
I like the simplicity of the clan. They are also very hard working.

If you get TH-cam premium..you don't have to deal with ads. I use TH-cam as my primary streaming service, so for me it's worth it! I don't remember exactly how much I pay, but I think it's around $13.
Thank you for reminding me to hit the like button ❤
These people still feel like true enkas. You probably didnt need to hike up that mountain looking for relics. Its probably all in a wall in that town.
Think how much more beautiful Heaven will be.!! WOW.❤😂
Not to take away from Aztec history, there is some history that the Mayans came across the area and they did not build it. It already existed.
Wonder what year doco made! Late 1990s timeless anyways
He said he was in Georgia to cover independence. That was early 90s. Then said was a decade later. Unfortunate time for US.
Should be taught in all schools at all levels.
At 12-13min - references dervishes. The first time I heard "whirling dervish" used, it was to add humor to an event. 😂
a member of a Muslim (specifically Sufi) religious order who has taken vows of poverty and austerity. Dervishes first appeared in the 12th century; they were noted for their wild or ecstatic rituals and were known as dancing, whirling, or howling dervishes according to the practice of their order.😮
1:17:05 was wild

Everything is upside down just like Australia😂😂😂
Goodnight everybody
Thank you for the amazing documentary very educational to me ❤
its not a mud wall, you can't build with MUD! its clay sand and chalk... almost the same as a house brick! just a different process.
Do you think he ever saw that girl from Georgia Again ? Maybe they were in love . She seemed so sad to tell him goodbye
Powers of persuasion=$$, nothing wrong with that, nice bike, hope u took it home.
What a wonderful culture
I've met two Peruvian wildfire fighters, and need to remark; the descendants of the Inca are strikingly beautiful in person.

W need more on Kush
I love her accent.
Bro jumping off the train lol
The Egyptian in the cover picture is looking a bit dark lol
He looks like the REAL ancient Egyptians not the Roman,Greek Turkish Arab COLONIZERS who aren't indigenous to AFRICA 🥱🙄Looks like the Sphinx BLACK
And how exactly is he supposed to look?

A place ruled by pharaohs, “Black Pharaohs”, when has there ever a “white, yellow, pink or purple Pharaoh”
I didn't know that the pharaohs of Egypt were black! I always thought they were arab for some reason. I don't know if that's what I was taught in school or just because of Hollywood movies. So fascinating!! I recently pulled my child from public school to start our homeschooling journey!! This is definitely a subject we will be diving into!
I would like to visit Egypt especially during our cruise on The Mediterranean Sea on November 18th to November 28th 2011 from Rome to Sicily,Malta,Crete,Rhodes,Ephesus,Athens,Naples, and Sorento.
What was the Guide lady's name? Very Pretty lady. I loved her knowledge and natural beauty. What was Her First Name Malia, I teared when you said goodbye Took me back to my younger days I 'm 70 now....
Yep, she is beautiful and has a wonderful personality. A keeper .
What's the difference between Egypt and (Black Africa)?
Just turns up, with a piece of chalk, draws a whole river and f's orrrrff to chat poo..
Far to many commercials to enjoy. 14 minutes in, and there 4 adds. So unless you love the TEMU commercial to fall asleep too... don't bother 😂
1:35:38 Ghost!
I love the pigs everywhere in Kazakhstan and Georgia!
Sadly the countries in these documentaries look very different now.
I’m so jealous you have the life i want
You truely are Awesome
Seeking history from all
Cultures ❤ Respect 👊
When was this filmed, sudan is a warzone today
All the pharaohs during the earliest dynasties of Egypt were (Black Pharaohs). Before numerous invasions by the Hyksos, the Assyrians, the Achaemenid Persians, and the Macedonians under Alexander the Great. The ancient Egyptians had the complexion of their direct ancestors who come from Kush (Sudan) just further south on the Nile river.
Its funny how they'll say, the "black" pharaohs when they were all black including Amenhotep king Tuts great grandfather. But, they use this language to constantly try to separate Egypt from Africa. Its like someone saying the white kings of France that ruled England. See how silly it is. Just silly uneducated people
💯 this documentary talks as if the black pharaohs invaded this land instead of telling the truth how they came back to reclaim their own land from the invaders
Absolute Facts!! Thank you!! I said almost the same thing lol... The truth!
