Awesome, a must try, this paste would be great in Shakshouka. By the way, the seeds themselves contain no capsaicin (the chemical that makes the chili hot) it comes from the placenta which is the fleshy strip (often white to cream coloured) inside the fruit to which the seeds are attached. Removing the seeds is still a good idea though as they can be hard to digest!

You can freeze it. You lose the ease of using it for a quick boost to what you're cooking.

No. Keep it in the fridge, or will go bad fast, especially in hot weather.
