I don’t think the 76ers should use up all the cap space on one player like Bron or PG. neither should they trade an excessive amount of assets for a Jimmy Butler. Perfect offseason for me: Under Contract that will return: Embiid and Council Re-Sign: Maxey, Oubre, Batum, Payne, Lowry Free Agency: Klay, Miles Bridges, Drummond Trade: Reed and multiple 2nds for Caruso Draft: I like Ware (Indiana) in the first round. In the second round take a swing on potential with Justin Edwards (Kentucky).

Also Morey said himself he's not looking to overpay or give someone max out of desperation. We'll see if that's true, but I think Backup C is even more pivotal given embiid's age and health history. Also trying to be realistic. I think clippers give PG the max out of desperation, Jimmy wants a max extension which I don't see working, and Lauri will probably be too expensive to get from the Jazz unless he doesn't sign an extension like what occurred with OG and the Raptors.

Danny Ainge has had a history of getting the better deal when dealing with the sixers and Marrkanen is due for an extension which if he signs with the Jazz I don't see us getting him. Also seen Ingram as a potential option, but he's had his own injury issues at only 26.
