84 k5 here with about 12" front lift and close to 10" in the back! 18/39.5/15 boggers on 14 wide wheels! Just upgraded to 3/4 rear SF 14 bolt, and incorporated a reese hitch in the front of the frame while tying the 2 together! Super Clean Install! Need to send you a couple pics of my 52" front spring conversion!! Love Your Channel! Keep up The GOOD WORK! we gotta raise these kids right!
Absolutely love the truck. I've been following for a few months now. I actually went out and bought a 78 and I'm currently trying to catch up. Good work man!
Love watching bro! I live in Bakersfield now however I'm moved from Ventura about 3 years ago and I still miss it especially when I take my full top of my k5 in 110 degree weather, makes me wish I was driving it on the coast! Keep it up bro I'll live through you!!
Dude great video. Love the doors. There next on my list. Great tip on the striker. Love the new video layout and use of drone man. Thanks for helping me pull the trigger on the doors.
nicely done. The striker can also be loosened with a pair of vise grips - preferably the pipe version (round rather then flat grips) - on old trucks, usually one side is worn from the door hanging so gripping with vise grips is pretty painless and works pretty well...
The striker should have plastic on the striking area. People will notice a much better close when closing the door if the plastic is there and it make Alignment much easier also. Doors look great! Not something I would get being in Seattle...LOL
nice... now I want lol. do u think maybe the installation would have been a little easier for alignment if u had installed on even pavement rather than half way up your driveway considering the slight flex you would have gotten?
Jason Ness I have both. if I had to do it again I would only get the cup holder. if you have a closed drink ( a water bottle with screw on cap ) you can manipulate into the holder around the Wahoo bar. does require some tilting and maneuvering if you have both though.
Another great vid bro...just one question, with the new doors, whats ur security like? it would be a shame if you had some turd just jump into your truck and drive off with it!
No less safe than before in my opinion. He's got a soft top... anyone smart enough to undo velcro can get in it, but I'd imagine he's got a kill switch or 2 on there.
Merricks Garage quick question, I know it's off the subject but I have a 73 blazer and looking for rock sliders I contacted diy4x but he doesn't make them for my year, do you know anyone who makes them for my year?
Yeah i know how it is. Im usually working on it more than wheelin also. Recently finished making my crossmember for my doubler. Havnt had a chance to wheel it yet. Your rig is so sick i just to see it in action. _lh3.googleusercontent.com/yjUzMqDjIR06Jxj8ZgsFwT73XvWiB5vriOdvmFpMzL4j_WPjyJPt76irtSBDRHVONShX0EoDoA_

Merricks Garage is it difficult to switch between the two sets of doors?
nicely done.

love your truck bro B.E.A.UTIFUL!
Can you put hinge halfs on the tube door and cut the factory pins so you can swap back and forth?
I was wondering the same thing, I don’t see why not. I think the door jam would probably have to be reinforced in some way though
Is it legal to drive with no side mirrors? Any plans to install them? Great video
Looking to buy a K5 blazer. What would you recommend to do first to upgrade it?
.....didn't like them with that orange color. ......with the paint matching, and the wrap on them, stellar!
Cállate wey, tu que sabes

you should sell the beamer, and put a four link coilover system on the K5 :)
Did you get the cup holder and wahoo handles? If so can you show a pic or vid of them from the drivers seat?

did you just clip all your wires or did you make disconnects for them or do you plan on just leaving your doors off for now on?
Can u make this for a 05 Tahoe?
