    It's a bit ironic that the explanation given by the 737 MAX Noise Certification Engineer was barely audible 😂

      John Neves That's just how quiet the engine is. 😆

    and yet the audio quality of this video is this horrible!

    • @vtwinbreed
      @vtwinbreed 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's called consistency.. If the noise budget is getting cut in the engine department, the noise budget is getting cut in the video department, too. Don't want one to feel self-conscious around the other. :P

    Good grief. For a video about a "quiet airplane," they pound us over the head with booming bass-filled music. Who could possibly hear a passing airplane over the racket raised by this little video?

    How about making a vertical take off plane ?

    • @alexplanchon414
      @alexplanchon414 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      CyberCanadian that's a terrible idea that would make a extreme amount of cost pair lift off and I also think landing it would be hard

    • @GreenPartyHat
      @GreenPartyHat 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alex Planchon Well it's Elon Musk's idea. He's normally right.

    • @josephpenn1115
      @josephpenn1115 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      CyberCanadian it's impractical as it would require a ton of pilot training for widespread use and alot more maintenence and fuel costs. it just won't be profitable.

    • @GreenPartyHat
      @GreenPartyHat 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joseph Penn It would have to be mostly electric and solar. I agree it would't be profitable today. We are at least 10 years away.

    • @josephpenn1115
      @josephpenn1115 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      CyberCanadian plus I'd rather keep flying fixed wing aircraft instead of VSTOLs as its extremely reliable and is a highly efficient platform that can be adapted to anything

    • @Jomagic01
      @Jomagic01 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The don't have the MAX they have 737NG

    • @pavelgrulich2989
      @pavelgrulich2989 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, they have MAX8. You can find photos and videos of real traffic in Praha, where the 737MAX is moving on taxiway. TravelService has in service OK-TVT, which you can see on video from Czech Airlines channel on YT. The name of the video is Antonov AN224 v Praze I think

    • @Jomagic01
      @Jomagic01 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK-TVT is a 737-800 which is part of the 737NG family.

    Why not revive the b757. its got better performace, And uses less runway with higher payload, with much more powerful engines. on VR takes less time and speed. it was a great plane

    just took my first commercial flight from Sioux Falls, SD to NY and I was always told that when in the plane it was very quiet and on both legs of my trip I could barely hear myself think. I was shocked at how ungodly loud it was in the cabin. Why not work on sound proofing the cabin so the passengers who pay the crazy amounts for tickets can enjoy the flight?

    It's still an uncomfortable cabin -- six-across and no legroom.

    • @theflyinggasmask
      @theflyinggasmask 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      first off, how do you know that? The plane is not out yet!
      And the seat configuration has nothing to do with the aircraft manufacturer, boeing recommends a very comfortable cabin, but the airlines ignore that and fills the cabin with as many seats as possible!

    @Boeing, that's all very well and fine, but as traveller, one thing that beats me into exhaustion is inside the cabin noise. I more affected because of long legs, I tend to purchase sits near the wings. What have you done to reduce the inner noise?

    The thing that I don't like about the 737 MAX, is the cockpit. I like the NG one instead of the MAX kinds. That's what I don't like Boeing company people. But everything else is GOOOOD. FOR THE FUTURE
