I found out a co-worker lived in my neck of woods so,I thought I'd be helpful and give her rides home after work free of charge cos she rode the bus and it took about 1½ hrs for her to get home by bus. Ppl, she started using me as a chauffeur. "Can we stop by this gas station so I can buy my smokes?"
"I need so and so from this store, let's stop there". And she would take her sweet a** time while I waited in the car. I had to cut her off cos I needed to be home in good time after work to take over our kid so my husband could go to work.
They always gotta stop and get cigarettes

I said yes w/no hesitation thinking the shop was near the office. The shop was near her home🤦🏾♀️. A relative had bought her to work but she didn’t want to ask them to “come back way out here” to pick her up.

So when he needed a ride home I was happy to oblige. Little did I know he’d intended on making it a habit.

1:06-1:28 and 1:40-2:27 is definitely me 😆 even back in the day when my car was in the shop, I didn't asked absolutely anyone for a ride. I don't like taking people home but I have plenty of times, especially in the winter but people kept taking advantage and wanted me to do it everyday. My one kind gesture turned into an everyday "since you going my way" situation. People used to live 2 miles past my house. I don't do it. Sorry not sorry. Only bc these are the same people bragging they got back $8,000 in taxes. Ma'am I owe the IRS every year and I have more kids than you. Buy a car next time and keep your hot breath out my vehicle 😒

I use to give my coworker a ride into town. She takes the bus and it takes her almost 2 hours and a car ride was 20 mins. She wouldn’t let me take her all the way home. Just to the bus stop near my home and she rides the bus the rest of the way which is only another 20 mins.
