Great fishing George the river suir is top of my bucket list for next season after two years of leukemia a bone marrow transplant and treatment I can't wait to fish more rivers for wild brown trout
Love your TH-cam stuff - fishing lovely rivers and wee streams. The craic between yourself and Mick reminds me of many happy years fishing with my late friend Allan who passed away earlier this year. Looking forward to start on new season on 1st March!
I'd have to give that fish that jumped out of your hands a solid 9 out of 10. Hahaha. That surprised me for sure. Another great video Sir! Very enjoyable to watch and makes me want to get out to the Bow River.
George, great video! You did a very good job landing that nice 4 lber in the reeds or rushes. Dine a great job handling those conditions in landing that beautiful fish!
@@ShotawayFilms Any larger diameter would result in no takes, these are wild and spooky fish, and won't tolerate anything larger than 3lb,sometimes even that is too big.
@@springerspanielful Missing the point. There is tippet stronger and thinner or at least equivalent to what you are using.I did not mean step up in diameter.

@@springerspanielful Looks like something a little stronger for diameter might help with those better fish.

@@ShotawayFilms My mistake, if you know of any reliable tippet in a stronger and similar diameter please let me know.
