Travis still has his witty and sharp tongue. He hasn't changed for the better, but he's changed his tactics and methods. He's even still got his love for anime and from what I can tell.. he's at his strongest here. His past is what made him a 2-time legend for sure, having toppled the greatest assassins organized by the UAA themselves. He fought through the Death Drive's Trials and Tribulations, and brought back Bad Girl, as a prize for completing the Death Drive's challenges and acquiring the Death Balls. He fought with a phantom of THE Doctor Juvenile and lived to tell the tale. He DIED at the hands of the players to challenge them, and came back everytime, up and ready for more fighting! Yeah Travis was shocked seeing his kids from the future given him a WTF moments to stop his crazy brother from conquering the world itself and other plants.
@@Twilight17Petkoton I never took Henry for one to go crazy but after the little we see of his backstory and what he had gone through I can see why he did. We don't know much about Henry, Jean, or Travis' back story the most we know out of 3 is of Jean from the first game. Atleast now we know how Jean escaped her father and got confirmation that their father was a serial killer amongst also being a rapist, a wife beater and child predator, and apparently into incest (jfc their dad's fucked no wonder they all turned fucked themselves). Travis is probably the second one we know the most about then Henry. Speaking of Henry WHERE'D HIS ACCENT GO he used to have a cute little irish accent now he looks like a weird "the crow" reject and talks all edgy. I guess losing sylvia to his younger brother and having to be saved by said younger brother in the second game really did a number on him and that cult or whatever I wasn't really following when he got to that part. Also his actual last name is touchdown sweet was wondering why his last name was different from travis I just figured they had different dads but nope it's confirmed in his little sidestory they have the same pos dad. I also just realized too Jean just keeps getting more and more sympathetic the more we learn about their dad like jfc no wonder she killed his ass. Oh shit that brings up another question since Travis witnessed his dad's death, how did he do it if they escaped their father???? Somewhere along the way Travis had to be picked back up by their father who apparently from Jean's perspective had to look like an upstanding guy to Travis. I really want their past to get explored more.
@@cgecko3 Yeah but Suda 51 like to make everyone confusing about his past and never reveals it. So it a complicated mess on Travis Touchdown past that was never seen again.
I knew it. I fuckin knew something was up. Nothing added up about why he was doing what he was doing, and Travis saying "The ones that don't look like bad guys usually are the pretty bad guys{or something like that}" really spelled it out. Fact that they also re-emphasized that they linked minds a couple of times, Damon was the one freaking out about Travis killing their men. Not to mention Fu being visibly upset by the fact that his father sent him to prison, which wasn't in line with how his character was being portrayed. Goddamn, this was a twist and a half.
@@rynegreen7902 Its unlikely that Damon was controlling him, I like to think that because of their mind link, they made each other spiral, like OP mentioned, FU seemed to get really hung up on his prison time given how casually he spoke about it in the intro, also it kinda makes sense that FU's rage at Travis just before their fight is probably more due to Damon's vendetta against him for what he did in tsa bleeding over into his personality, likewise, Damon's panic over Travis working his way up the rankings is also probably what caused FU to begin to unravel in the first place
fun fact: Suda was going to change the way the boss fight at 20:16 played because he felt it ripped off Smash Bros. Sakurai even told him to keep it in the game because he thought it was funny.
I'm gonna be honest, I was expecting the diadem with eyes on FU's head to be something that controls him but since his dad has it too it's just a hereditary thing.

Nero on the other hand actually shows consistently that he cares about people and has a real moral compass. You know, man has depth. Real depth. He grows on you. If anybody wants tricks to fighting Fu, you can use Death Throw to toss Fu's spirit bombs back at him which make him dizzy, and you can use Death Kick when he's using his AOE to get into the middle and this will also knock him out. If he gets hit while Death Slow is on him he'll also get staggered so it's a good idea to use Death Rain in conjunction so you can hit him as soon as his invincibility ends. Take advantage of your Death Glove skills because most of them can stagger him if he's hit when he's not invincible.

@@wildonionchase3934 clothing I’m fine with it’s just while we got a kick ass mecha suit we lost the unique beam katana’s the series had ya build after each kill.
One of the coolest parts about NMH 2 was that you had 3 beam Katana's dangling off your belt the entire game once you got all 3.
I wish I can play this but it has too much bright pixel colors flying around during fights and it makes my head spin.
that’s another thing that would probably be good dlc content. i love the camellia III

They didn't snort drugs while making this. They snorthed the whole radiation barrel.
Welcome to the Garden of Madness
Kept seeing people reference Smash in the comments and I was like, probably a little coy line from Travis about how he should've been in Smash or something but, uhh...
This is way more literal...
LOL
Yeah Hehe

"A'ight I'm out."
*FU the literal moment his head rolls off*
You have no idea how many times I was like, "Aaaaand here comes Glastonbury!" Throughout the game. Here's hoping we get a Glastonbury II in future NMH content, I like the reference to other series, but nothing can beat NMH originals.
Glastonbury is from 2 and thus non-canon.

Travis Touchdown available as a Mii Fighter Skin
Suda 51: Fine, I'll do it myself
I'll be DAMNED if I can say with a straight face that Travis is who we can try and aspire to be while at the same time BEING A MOOD.
There's still a set of standards and has gotten a lot smarter, it looks.
@@thegameknight8916 And it’s all gotten somewhere.
NMH1 was a lesson about a perhaps unsatisfying victory and the start of a career.
NMH2 was a self-motivated revenge and a lesson in needless killing and Revenge..
TSA was a lesson about your demons- the past needs to not always alive but not dead either and you can make it happen with enough effort.
NMH3? The power of friendship and acceptance of change. It all comes down to the friends you make- and the life you’ve lived to accept change and move on with your life.

I did like the intro hype up daialogie to this Fu boss battle, almost as good as “Unleash your hate! Your anger! Everything! I’ll take it all and fucking kill you with it!”
Suda51 really just said: "Fine, I'll do it myself!"
Lol, that last fight was definitely a diss towards Smash Bros.
It was also pretty sweet that Daemon X Machina got referenced.
Not a diss, Travis is in ssbu and Travis is on Nintendo
@@Turnpost2552 His Mii costume is in Smash, not Travis. It's like how Dante is in Smash as a Mii Costume, but not as a playable character. It hurts a bit more for Travis as he was around since the Brawl days and has had every game in his series be on Nintendo consoles.
At least his costume is in, but it would've been cool if he got in.
Maybe Travis touchdown will be the final Challenger pack in smash Brothers ultimate
@@jasonmg99 Totally possible!
If that was meant to be a diss, they would have made fun of the objective of Smash Bros, but the battle still ended like how a Smash Battle ends.
It’s more of a homage than a diss.
4:48 During this move, its easier to dropkick his ass here, you wont actually take damage from the waves when you do it and itll always open him to attacks
I’d send the rain out for him to do consistent damage while I could walk away and recharge/heal, same thing during the hair attack at 6:07
@@3redstreeter256 I also did this but, if I ended up getting the full armor mode, I'd use it here since it's hard to use anywhere else during the fight.
That final punch on FU was so great. It beautifully summed up their rivalry and truly felt like the culmination of Travis' anger at FU throughout the game!
*Sigh* This series will never have a satisfying conclusion. As soon as we think it's all over, it hints at ANOTHER game.
That’s the entire point of the series tho: there never will be an end to conflict or fighting because there are no more heroes.

I enjoyed seeing a puffy amiyumi anime like style so cute in a gore wtf game like this one 😂
@@1wiz1 Yeah Suda 51 like using pop cultural reference based on Easter eggs.
What do you mean? Was Damon controlling fu the whole time
@@rynegreen7902 Its unlikely that Damon was controlling him, I like to think that because of their mind link, they made each other spiral, like OP mentioned, FU seemed to get really hung up on his prison time given how casually he spoke about it in the intro, also it kinda makes sense that FU's rage at Travis just before their fight is probably more due to Damon's vendetta against him for what he did in tsa bleeding over into his personality, likewise, Damon's panic over Travis working his way up the rankings is also probably what caused FU to begin to unravel in the first place
He only said to settle it in sumo because he couldn't outright say settle it in smash. lol
That face to face before the fight was intense! I wanted to see more of that in the game. Love that rivalry, feeling...
This voice acting is so good.
Yeah, Kris zimmerman and the voice actors did such an amazin jonb again. She also did the MGS Series and Eternal Darkness
That final fight was one hell of a ride.
fun fact: Suda was going to change the way the boss fight at 20:16 played because he felt it ripped off Smash Bros. Sakurai even told him to keep it in the game because he thought it was funny.
Sakurai truty is the most based off nintendo, anyone else would've had suda sued for it
I'm gonna be honest, I was expecting the diadem with eyes on FU's head to be something that controls him but since his dad has it too it's just a hereditary thing.
Let me get this straight, Mecha from daemon X Machine THE Daemon X Machina is in NMH3 and have Moonlight Butterfly.....I cant wait to pick it up and MODEL KIT WHEN
I also wondering about that too! XD
Don't forget before that Damon was shouting Great Mazinger's attack to summon a Thruddglemir from SRW OG.
@@JadenRockz99 wait seriously
@@RomHunterBlueSilver There are a lot more reference to mecha in NMH3 like the line "You hit me! Even my father haven't hit me!" is from the OG Gundam.
Then there was the whole armor suit that Travis had which looked like the mech from Asterbreed.
In the ending, Jean Baptiste V dropped in from the sky like a mix of Great General of Darkness from Mazinger and Frieza's Dad frlm DBZ. It even proceeds to have a Trunks beat Frieza situation afterward. Not to mention the Panty and Stocking animation style that comes with it.
There are plenty more tbh, but I lost count after Destroyman, which in itself is a big Rocky reference until the end.

@@jsh020 I don't see it. Nero is much more caring and sensitive... compared to el DonTe(which is the absolute opposite of Nero in that regard).
@@1theprince1 Nah you see that's the kinda the point. What they were trying to go for with La Donatello was "Tough abrasive dickhead with a heart that cares about people... sometimes... apparently." That kinda fell pretty flat because he was too much of a tough abrasive dick and not enough of... well ironically a genuinely decent human being.
Nero on the other hand actually shows consistently that he cares about people and has a real moral compass. You know, man has depth. Real depth. He grows on you. He grew on me a lot to be honest and I was really glad when I saw him back for DMC5 and even more realized as his own person.
I need a No More Heroes fighting game the roster would be insane, most likely bigger than Super Smash Bros at this rate.

😂😂😂😂😂 you serious?
Can you even name 80 NMH characters? I don't think anyone can.
@@mythosinfinite6736 There's Travis, 61 other Assassins (most are unfought separately), 10 aliens in the Galactic rankings, 4 alternate versions of Destroyman, a Scottish Henry, a Cultish Henry, Silvia, Jeane (the sis), Jeane (the daughter), Mimmy, Scott, the dude who's Midori's bf, Travis's Grandson, Bad Man, Miike apparently, and various enemy subtypes.
But with fatality's like mortal kombat. 😂
Take advantage of your Death Glove skills because most of them can stagger him if he's hit when he's not invincible.
interesting to see how travis has gone from a hopeless star wars and wrestling otaku to someone who does something good cause he feels like it (and money)
It's not surprising after he killed the first two galactic heroes and FU shown up that the others killed the galactic heroes. It was between him and FU And ironically it wasn't even him that killed FU but Damon
We need more stories where the protagonist makes the villain pissed rather than the villain pissing off the protagonist every time.

Best pre-fight cutscene in the whole series. Just Travis absolutely talking shit about the main villain until he absolutely snaps.
Part of me felt a little bad for FU at the end, since I interpreted him going into his child form as him mentally regressing because the trauma of failure was too much for him... But then I remember he's a genocidal tyrant and no longer feel bad.
