What instruments do you use for this? I have been wanting to get into music and have been looking at samplers and synths.

This was made completely on the digitakt. I loaded some samples and chopped, effected and layered them all on there. So no instruments really.

So you just load this thing with samples and make a beat or what? Watched you press like 5 buttons in 5 minutes, trying to figure out what I'm looking at lol. Are we making a track in Ableton and then loading the stems into this thing?

Correct, I load the digitakt with samples and use it to chop/effect/layer them. Me pressing buttons is bringing tracks in or out or changing to a different pattern. Hope this helps.
