THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! this was my first time crocheting EVER and i really wanted to make this hat. your tutorial was super easy to follow and my hat ended up looking AWESOME. definitely subscribing!
As a complete beginner myself (I dont even know how to do a simple stitch) do you think I should try making this hat or like first make other smaller projects?
@@vizzkif I’ve recently started making hats and stuff so I started with the usual cat ear beanie. That’ll get you used to measuring for wearable things and then moved on to rounds for hats like this one!
i’m not even a beginner and i used this tutorial, and DO NOT USE IT no matter WHAT the comments say, she definitely cut out some parts so now my hat looks short cause she either didn’t explain something right or cut out important parts, i knew from the beginning something was off by the way she started off increasing on the beanie, but for some reason i didn’t listen to my gut, so now i have to start over hours of work but im only mad at myself for trusting it.
Im on round 9 right now and the hat looks way smaller than it does in the video. What should i do? I dont have a 4mm hook so i am using a 3.75mm hook and i am using gauge 4 medium yarn. Should i continue the double crochet and increase stich pattern after 15 to make it bigger before adding earflaps??
Hello, if using a smaller hook size ( 3.75mm), for round(s) 11-15 should i repeat the pattern of dc inc- dc16, dc inc- dc 17, dc inc- dc 18, etc until I get the size right and then dc around for the last 5 rounds before starting the ear flaps?
So anyone watching this tut and having trouble on making the magic ring so there is another method where u can just do 2 chains and dc 11 in the first chain its way more simpler lemme know if it works with u all
The tutorial is great but mine is significantly smaller than the video ☹️ Edit: if anyone else if having the same problem i just added a few more double crochet rows to the hat before adding the ear flaps
