As a young man, high on marijuana, l prayed and offered my soul to Satan to play the guitar. I thought nothing happened, but soon noticed weird paranoid thoughts. I also played the guitar for hours when high. 15 years later after smoking dope daily l became a Christian. I had to be healed and delivered to break the dope addiction. 15 years later at an Alter call l went forward for prayer to share the gospel and in prayer it felt like a giant python was coming out my stomach. The pastors wife who was praying with us said " its coming out his stomach" then when it left an amazing anointing came upon me for several minutes until l couldn't take it any more and asked God to stop, l was sobbing with joy by now. Soon after at the age of 50 for the first time in my life l began to be able to write worship and praise songs and l am 66 now. God is amazing ❤❤❤

It's actually identifies you as the opposite, and proves how thoughtless you are. It's also not proven that cannabis isn't addictive, that's actually an absolute falsehood. I know because I've seen how moody and nasty it has made many people that try to quit on their own. It's a drug for sure, with unstable effects from person to person. I have a medical practitioner in my family that confirms it actually triggers schizophrenia in people who suffer from that previously. You may keep puffing all you want, but don't expect to do anything but shrink mentally & especially spiritually over the years. There are promises He’s spoken to you, but you don’t see anything changing, it’s been a long time. You’re tempted to give up. God has you reading this because it’s on the way. You are closer than you think. This is not the time to start doubting. Now, more than ever, you need to stir up your faith. Keep thanking God for what He promised, keep declaring what He said, keep talking like it’s on the way. Don’t let those negative thoughts override what God has spoken to your heart.

Some christians are taught that you cannot have a demonic influence in your life if you are a born again believer....that is incorrect theology which Derek stated he had wrong but was corrected on. God not rejecting us when we sin is a completely different issue than whether or not a Christian can have a demon. It was deceptive for him to equate the two things.

I completely agree. I did find a pastor who teaches this and I was stunned at how much I didn’t know. I’ve attended several churches in the past and now I know why I never stayed. I love my pastor and when I can’t attend in person, she does zoom and that makes it nice.

Yes it is of course. While Christians can no longer have a demon in their spirit, we can be demonized in our souls. And even after all the demons are evicted, if you don't seal up with the Holy Spirit and be vigilant they can come back. Also, even when the demons are gone you STILL have to do the hard work of healing from brokenness and traumas.

From what I've experiencing the Holy Spirit leaves with sin, yes he is able to visit those with sin but he'll eventually leave. You know he is he's there, and when he isn't. Ask for a baptism of the Holy Spirit fire and to be Jesus' sheep and that God gives you a heart of flesh which you give to Jesus. Ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and to deliver you from all the demonic influence in your life and forgiveness.

@sandyjuntunen4088 u can have the Holy Spirit and a demon. In fact u can have many in u and still have the Holy Spirit in u. I have had many casted out w the Holy Spirit in me. He guides me and give me names of them so that I can defeat them. I am an ex witch and I was saved in July of '22. I have had over 60 casted out of me and I had to recast them out because I could not figure out I had an open door. I have also done deliverance on ppl who are believers! The devil goes after christians. To bring them to hell. And im surprised that u follow derek prince and do not know this. Cuz he has said the very same. Oppression is when they attack from the outside. Demonization is when they dwell in u. They only seek to have a vessel to dwell in. Demons are very legalistic too.
It is Divine Providence I hear these words of wisdom today! Praise God! And thank you Derek Prince! Let us be ever vigilant in expelling our demons even as they may remain along side the Holy Spirit within our vessel.. this video is so timely just as I realize a number of people I know will succumb to Satan because they have failed to recognize this in themselves. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I had to speak the Truth to such persons recently, letting them know how they harm others through their deception...sadly when confronting them, I found out as Derek said they have two spirits. Because as long as they will not repent and confess their sin from their heart it will inevitably lead to corruption. They seem like holy leaders from afar but once you work with them up close, things are not as they appear. So I have had decided to distance myself from them and go my separate way. Such real life examples are when people are engages in God's work, worship, prayer, service, helping others and yet continue to commit lies big and small, living in hypocrisy, indulging in pride and abuse their power/authority, greed, deception, puffing oneself up, bragging, silence the truth, acting in a transactional way to get something to benefit themselves, engage in special favours/privileges to get what they want, impose/force others to do something they themselves themselves would find unpleasant and fruitless, allowing/complicitly encouraging others to worship them, false humility, closed hearted/lack of compassion, relying on false idols like fortune telling and so on..thanks for reading. For those who believe Christians automatically receive the infilling of the holy spirit upon salvation, read Acts 8. Its the infilling and walking in the spirit that keeps the demons out.

Sorry I still go back to my old ways, please if anyone is reading this I'm Godfrey okon from Nigeria, I know the lord has called to do great work for the kingdom but the devil is hellbent in destroying my life, so brothers and sisters in christ i need prayers that my life account to something worthy, I will be 26 by June and I don't have anything of mine, my elder sister is my all she even had to put me in a program concerning tech and currently am 3month behind which she don't know of, please guys I really feel like a failure I need total restoration from God.
I have been blessed my whole life from my mother’s strong prayers in breaking generational curses of poverty. But at the same time I always felt God’s spirit with me, I had many old demons with me as well making it very difficult to avoid temptation. I have failed at every relationship, I have partaken in every sexual sin and have been fighting alcoholism for years. It wasn’t until God spanked me and i lost everything and ended up with nothing or nobody and I realized that i have a choice to either submit everything to God or end up in Hell. I prayed, repented, cried out, fasted and had to come to the point of being so tired of sin that i now hate it. I adopted a new way of thinking that I will seek God with all my heart and follow the ten commandments.

Our intimate and personal relationship with our Father is the most important thing in our lives. Feed on His Word, seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily, and honor Him in ALL you do. We need to learn to depend on Him for everything, and to obey His lead on everything.
It's not easy because we have done what we want during all our lives.... so it takes practice!
Practice hearing His voice in your every-day matters. Don't make decissions without asking what is His will regarding that matter, and obey Him. Practice with the simple things, so that you get used to His leading.... Even when you go shopping. Ask Him to guide you on what to purchase. You will perceive His restraint and you will perceive His approval. We need to constantly practice obedience to His leading.

I must say, I needed to hear this message. I think a great number of choices we make can invite demons into our lives. They can oppress the believer from reaching the fullness God has for them. It's comforting to know that in the book of Corinthians, it makes reference to the believer passing through the fire. What comes out on the other side is what we take into the kingdom. The impurities are left behind. Since there are sins of omission and sins of commission, we are never completely pure of sin this side of heaven. Take comfort in the fact that the man you spoke of passed into God's presence. God draws from the heart. That man's heart was bent towards God. I hope what I said to you will bring you peace. I can tell you are still troubled by that encounter. We are saved by putting our faith in what Christ did on the cross. He said it is finished. He passed through hell before ascending into heaven. It was to declare victory.

For a short period of time, God did not permit me to speak in tongues and I knew immediately why. I think apostle Paul gave us a away for discernment in this matter.

[3] Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Jesus cast out demons from the unsaved. We cannot be possessed! We can be oppressed by evil spirits, but if a true believer we have the indwelling Holy Spirit, the Word, and our Spiritual Armour to fight satanic attacks.

Corinthians 10:21: You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.
Evidently YES! Considering we all bring a luggage of spirits within our SOUL (mind, emotions, will) from the kingdom of darkness when we come to Christ - when we are born again, our spirit is born again, and if we make Him Lord and give Him the Throne of our spirit, then the Holy Spirit will govern from our spirit. Yet we must do a "spiritual clean-house" with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, to get rid of all the spirits we bring- inherited from our ancestors and acquired by our own sins. As we empty our soulish areas of evil spirits, we must invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in those spaces previously occupied by those spirits.
It is important to persevere in our journey to ask our Father to show us what spirits we still need to get rid of, and do it. Confess the sin that allowed them in, break covenant with them, and with the Help of the Holy Spirit, expell the entire hierarchy of spirits of that name (thrones, dominions, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and evil hosts). If we just say the name, only the lower rank will obey,and the stronger ones will stay.
We also need to be diligent transforming our mind - thought process, by feeding on Jesus/Word of God, so we don't be deceived. Our emotions: We need to ask our Father to give us TEMPERANCE daily, so we don't fall into depressions, explosions, emotional frenzy - and sin against Him. We need Temperance so that adversity does NOT separate us from Him. We must submit our Will to His Will DAILY. Don't make decissions without His approval and guidance. Remember we belong to HIM, He purchased us and He is our HEAD and boss/Lord. We are His followers (He leads always. He initiates our actions. Our initiatives are not welcome.l)

@@teocantsleep4611 the fact is that we humans have three "bodies": spirit, soul, physical body. The SOUL has three areas: mind, emotions and will.
It is in the area of the soul where we bring evil spirits from the kingdom of darkness, where we come from.
When we come to Christ, only our "dead" spirit is brought to life by the Power of God.
The REST of our being - that would be the soul - NEED TO UNDERGO A REGENERATION PROCESS.
It is our turn to "conquer " our own territory, that is still held captive by the enemy. It is by the Power of God through His Word, and the Holy Spirit, we will conquer every specific territory/area from the enemy and expell the spirits dwelling in it. - It is a P R O C E S S ... it takes diligence, time and faith/obedience.
Scripture explains Scripture. You need to pray, seek the entire Counsel of God. God does not contradict Himself. It is we who get confused because we don't know all the Word. We also need to ask our Father to reveal to us, to teach us His Truth when we don't fully understand a matter. He will....
@@GladysRWhite I'm asking you for specific verses in the Bible. Where do you get the idea that we come from a kingdom of darkness? It goes against Genesis 1:26-31.
In a different post you said that nothing that comes from man is good, that it's all sin. But not even the most narrow interpretation of Romans 14:23 can attest that.
I know where you come from with your division of the soul in three but I still find no contradictions to Corinthians 10:21, and I don't know where you get your other ideas from.
If they come from prayer then fine, I can respect that, but they are things that at least contradict scripture as far as I can see, so I cannot take it as more than your own personal revelations, which as useful as they may be to you, I cannot take for my own. God bless.
