the movie itself felt rushed to me but the final showdown between Nyx and the General sticks to me for long time the struggle of nyx while being alone and short on time really brings me to hype
The beautiful thing about the Final Fantasy characters is whether good, bad or in between these pixelated people from an alien planet and fantastical fictional empires feel like real, fully flesh and blood human beings with flaws and weaknesses, whose struggles and fates we care for because they are so much like our own.
The movie actually does get better once you have played at least the first chapter of the game. A flaw with the film? Perhaps, but if you watch the film and read the book after the game it does help make it a more fleshed out story experience.
@@aaronlimeuchin7352 Sure. The book is called The Dawn Of The Future. You can easily get it off of Amazon. It is the 3 DLC that was supposed to come out but made into book form. So it is canon and the official ending.
@@pianofingers8660 Sure. There were 3 of them, all of which are detailed in the book. The first was about Luna and how she comes back to life but evil. She gets saved. Then Noct and the others team up to set everything right after he gets out of the crystal. He and Luna get married at the end. There was also one where you would play that Dragoon Knight lady from the Empire, forgot her name. There's a lot more but I don't want to spoil it completely for anyone, but you can read up on it if you want or get the book for pretty cheep. It's a good read after you have played the game.
@@pianofingers8660 It's really a shame they didn't release them. I would have loved to play Luna, she had a really cool spear weapon and some awesome summons. I don't know if they even said why they didn't make them but it might be sales, also they pulled a lot of people off of projects to finish the FF7 Remake. That's fine, even though I don't care about the game, but they really should finish what they started.
The whole FFxv story is probably the most tragic, but the most beautiful story I've heard. On a different note. I have a pretty good feeling nyx is actually king regis's bastard son. Alot of hints throughout the movie and game
Aaron Paul*, Sean Bean and Lena Headey... all together sooo cool. Sean Bean living up to his name here too. Lolol If they would do the whole FFXV story done in this CGI movie
Back in the day, I was hoping for a episode Nix DLC where we can play as Nix and have an open world experience within the City like in Episode Ardyn. At least we get Nix' Face in Comrades expansion.
These kinds of movies you can only appreciate after you've played the game. And damn well I did
I don't play the game but I still appreciate it.
This movie is heavily underrated

Oh Nyx Ulric, you don't deserve your tragic fate, hero.
At least he went out like a boss. And in the end that's what counts. If it wasn't for him Noctis would have been found right away.

This movie was so damn good, along with the game. In my opinion, my favorite Final Fantasy franchise of all time.

May I know what is the title of the book?

The last battle is pretty damn sick....big summons having showdown alongside tiny humans 👌👌

More like closely related. NYX was a carbon copy of his Father but his Father may have been cousins with King Regis or Mors
He was born in galahd the same time Regis was fighting over there

That’s not Sam Worthington it’s Jesse pink man
@@myrhh2260 OH SHOOT ITS Aaron Paul
The main antagonist of this movie should become one of boss in the game
This is a plea from one man to another.
Noct & Lunafreya❤😢
There is only one lord of the ring, one whom can bend it to his will and does not seek power
wrong game dude

Oww..if knew that earlier i would not wast so much time fishing.. 😔
I wish everything was in the game instead of making it into film/novel/Anime.
Why ravus look old yet young
Ravus character doesn´t make ANY sense in this movie after the last patches and the DLC in the game. They have completely retconned his character.
King like Brosman... 8)
