I rescued an Arabian one year ago, he’s 27. I was told he was a “kids” horse. He had lived in a garage, skinny and severe rain rot. Four months before I rescued him he was gelded. Day one I could barely walk him he was so wild, everything scared him, he bolted, bucked and was extremely difficult. Today I can hand walk him anywhere. I ride him and just started bare back riding him with just a halter. Our first novice show is in a month. This has been the most difficult, yet rewarding journey for me, I’m 52! Thank you for this video, people should rescue but need to know it takes, time, patience and money.
I'm currently saving up to get my first rescue! Getting 20$ for each A on my report card + trying to fundraise around my school. Trying to get a GoFundMe too. I wanna save some babies haha
It’s my dream to rescue horses and give them a loving home! It’s been my dream ever since I was little. I’m 18 now and I’m still working on reaching it, but I know I’ll get there one day 💕 you’re such a kind, loving person! Those horses are blessed to have found you ❤️
