I am a long haul trucker. Whenever I need something to just lift my mood, I just flip over to my Band Maid playlist, hit shuffle and let it play. The Maids never let me down.
Rumor has it they renamed the building Saiki’s House after this concert, because she OWNED the building that night, this song demonstrates it perfectly.
I was waiting for Michael Myers to appear from behind your sheet cos he loves BAND-MAID too :)

I feel that Akane and MISA are intuitively brilliant and it makes them one of the best "rhythm sections" in rock. During the "conversation" between MISA and Kanami , Akane slowed down her drumming to add emphasis and highlights to their solos. The smile she gave them at the end of their solos says it all.
Don't You Tell Me! Oh, wait! You just did. 🤘😂Now, let me tell you something: Some say the Carolina Reaper is the hottest chili pepper with a Scoville Heat Index of 2.2 million. Nope! It's Band-Maid with a whopping 200 Million View index! 🌶🤘🎀 Thx, Phil!
Most of their concerts don't have the lasers and big screens, they are usually reserved for when they are going to be filming or really large venues. I saw them live a few weeks before this concert, it was in a tiny basement club with a sold out crowd of 350! They had a cloth backdrop and basic stage lighting. Everyone there got soaked, it was awesome!
Oh and Smashing Pumpkins is a favourite band of MISA the bass player 😊
The big DVD shows are amazing, and not only does the band put a lot of thought into them but the lighting, mixing, and camera work by their crew is top notch. But live? I feel like everybody needs to see them in a venue with a capacity of under a thousand people while we still can, even without the glitz. THEN enjoy them arena-style.
And also, Kawaii Davey, they reserve the green lasers & screens for when they play at my country retreat. There's a black cat that keeps appearing when they're here. 🐈⬛

Did you upload this before? Yes. The singer's voice is getting more powerful in the last few years. If you are at the venue you'll be surprised how massive it sounds.

My opinion, (and Gary’s)
one of their very best, if not THE best, songs from a hard rock perspective.
If you want more songs in this lane for your Band Maid playlist, “DICE,” “the non-fiction days,” “Thrill,” or “Moratorium” are just so freaking good. Songs that require the volume at 10.
Or, if you think you have Band Maid figured out? What else are they capable of?
“From Now On,” “Onset,” “Daydreaming,” “Influencer,” “About Us.”
None of them fit in the same box at all. They are the songs that prove the Maids are more than just another band

Remember too that while Saiki commands the stage, and Miku runs the show, Akane is the Field General. She needs to know where everyone on the stage is.
