It is absolutely mind boggling how little professional footage of the almost 1200 concerts he did in less than just 7 years ! What the F was RCA thinking ?! If it wasn't for all of the phenomenal footage illegally filmed by the fans we would have nothing. Eternal thanks to every single person who didn't put the camera away when Elvis hit the stage. I saw him in March of 74 and I was so exited I could barely hold my camera !! TCB E. We love you and damn do we miss you !!!

+STEVE ENGLISH I GUESS THAT PARKER, WITH HIS MONEY PASSION, DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MUCH HE WAS LOOSING. THEY DIDN'T WANT TO PUT CASH ON IT TO MAKE PROFESSIONAL RECORDINGS! FOOLS, PARKER AND RCA!

STEVE ENGLISH All performers do tons of live shows with only little being professionally recorded or filmed...
Also a lot of footage from fans is actually footage made for him, & for general review, most of the LV shows were filmed..much has been sold through the years, & some falsely labelled as fan footage...

Tom Parker has not just an illegal alien in the USA, he was a mental defective. Parker bullied all around him and he make deals that were not in the interest of Elvis Presley's life and musical legacy.

Elvis doing karatê moves on stage is phenomenal. No one ever imagined doing such a thing only with Elvis that was possible.

      Marcia Brasileiro
Elvis Presley was passionate about martial arts. Elvis Presley trained in several systems of Marty arts. Chuck Norrris was impressed with Elvis Presley's martial arts skills.

Marcia Brasileiro This is a very good point. I've said it myself in the past. A lot of people like to make jokes like there's something funny or stupid about it.
But most those people don't realize each one of those moves came from specific Kata that he trained and learned, and he was basically the only Entertainer that was actually choreographing martial arts moves into his live music performances.
And as Ronnie Tutt pointed out Elvis perfectly timed almost all of his moves with the rhythm of the music. Especially difficult to do considering he was wearing jumpsuits that sometimes weighed close to 50 lb for over an hour.
There's nothing about that for these people to make fun of.
      Only deserves respect.

Great. There should be more official footage released of Elvis doing Karate on stage. This was unique as no other singer did this.

A concert hall owner released a concert (his in house cameras) from 1974 with Elvis doing karate throughout MOST of the concert, including this one (I think it was instrumental), and he did a 1970's ('74) version of Blue Christmas...........I saw it on one of the independent channels separate from the BIG 3, and the owner of the footage, (the concert hall owner?) for a few days leading up to it, said that he was going to show the concert ONCE, and if you miss it, sorry, but it will never be broadcast again!!!!!!!!!! Nobody believes that I saw it, oh well, my incredible viewing experience and the jealous/ignorant "idiots" who won't take my word for it, my gain....their loss................

On this day in 1974 {September 16th} Elvis received his 8th Degree San Black Belt certificate from Master Rhee.
The presentation was private and took place at Master Rhee's studio in Memphis.
At the time Elvis was on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart with "If You Talk In Your Sleep"; it had entered the Top 100 on June 8th, 1974, it peaked at #17 & spent 13 weeks on the Top 100.
The song was featured in his album "Promised Land" {was released on Jan. 8th, 1975}.
    R.I.P. to The King {1935 - 1977}.

The late great Red West composed this song for Elvis Presley.Red West was Elvis Presley's most genuine friend who tried to stop drug supplying assholes from bringing the singer prescription drugs.

Elvis did a karate display during some "regular" concert tour dates in 1974, not Vegas, to "If You Talk in Your Sleep", just the instrumental, am I correct??? I saw a one time shown Elvis concert in 1974 and it wasn't on one of the big three stations, I believe that it was filmed with an in-house video camera that the owner agreed to show once and ONLY ONCE, and he announced that it would be shown for all of the Elvis fans (I luckily saw the promo a few times before the broadcast!!!!!!!!) and once he showed it, that WAS IT...Elvis did a lot of karate to the music, more so than any other concert year ever, 75% of the concert pretty much, but he didn't do it while performing Love me Tender!!!!! He did a big karate production to this song, he sang Blue Christmas, which even though I had hardly seen any (Had any of us???!!!!!) concert footage of Elvis up to that time...the '68 Special and Aloha, and it, I THINK, was in the summer(???), well, I thought that it was "different" seeing him sing Blue Christmas in concert, even though, well, the limited times he was seen...
