You can see those sheer dedication of Donguri, trying to implement DMC way of fighting in Elden Ring. And he was in NG+1, grinding himself so we can see him styling on Malenia. No unga bunga, cheap magic cheese strat, nor parry. What a true chad.
To be fair, rivers of blood did majority of the damage, and he evaded most stuff with bloodhound step. Those abilities are some of the most broken ones in the game, along side with moonviel and unlimited comet azur. It's much harder to parry than to just block with fat stamina.
eh, i feel that's mainly if not only because he's basically max level... i mean, i love dmc as much as the next guy but i really don't see the appeal in playing an rpg at max level, and that's coming from someone who's blindrun build is ALWAYS one that uses pretty much anything the game has to offer while only barely going over the pvp meta level for the game.

if i know donguri, they probably have beaten Malenia over and over again and thought "this isn't cool enough" and went to beating her the most stylistic way possible
The most enjoyable boss fight, for some reason I know Donguri will not just use the same strategy but use many skills while not caring about the damage, this simply says that Boss fight is not to rush off and kill the boss, but to enjoy.

I mean, it literally does. Any attack you string after your first R1 is a combo. Any move you use in chain sequence is a combo. Pressing L2 for River's of Blood and Eleonora's Poleblade is a combo.
I was going to ask why you were going for an INT build when FTH/ARC seems like it'd synergize better with what you were doing, but now I see you have 99 stats :| So it's irrelevant.
Maybe he's using it for personal style. It's like in dmc4, he doesnt need to go around half the arena against one boss, but he did it anyway. You see he can dodge normally just fine.
