    Fascinating. Enjoyed very much this breakdown of chords in this song. That C#7 does sound strange? I'm going to listen to the Django recording again. That descending chromatic bass on a minor chord is so popular. Many thanks.

    You are legit awesome thanks a lot for sharing this!!! Excellent work especially on the Dflat major part those chord are so tricky. Could you consider on transcribe the man I love from django it has really cool chords also. It is piano (I think grappeli plays it) but with your skills will not be a problem playing on guitar!!

    Sorry after Dm I hear a Bbm on the Django version. Also, after the sequence C7 B7 C7 a C#dim.

    • @SvenJungbeck
      @SvenJungbeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bbm is the same chord, putting C# in the Bass ( which is third) makes a nice movement on guitar, for the descending bass. instagram.com/p/CbKrYD8AwJK/?
      This is what we do with Joscho, in the trio we play 3 different A's in the melody.
      I'm curious: did you hear the Bbm or did someone tell you? 😉

    • @SvenJungbeck
      @SvenJungbeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You might be right about the C#dim. Didn't check back. It's the same chord like A7, same as in the original version, then.
      If you are listening carefully to lots of Django recordings, you can hear, that sometimes the bassist, Grappelli and also the guitars play slightly different changes. They recorded so much and probably didn't rehearse too much. Also transcribing was difficult, because you had to wait for a lot of songs to run on the radio. Best examples that I know are the rhythm changes of the Rome recordings.
