@@livinginkelownabc thanks for your guidance. Can you please provide information about Vernon British Columbia. Although it's a sister city of Kelowna. But I am concerned about it's weather in summers and winters, wildfire scenario and of course safety of living there .
@@zh9931 Vernon really experiences the same weather as Kelowna, it is a bit further North so weather might be changed by a couple degrees and get a bit more snow. Hi , We live in Freezing Montreal and thinking to live in Kelowna, I'm in retail business ( independent store here ) and would like to know how is the vibe and its busy there in order to have business , do you have any listing for selling businesses as well ?
It is typically busy, dependent on location, I personally do not have the business listings but my partner does commercial businesses and leases. We do have a few strip malls that we lease out that we would be able to help find space. What type of retail business are you looking to get into here? I am sure we can help you out, Feel free to also contact me 250-801-0361 or markcoonsrealty@gmai.com.
@@livinginkelownabc Hi Again , im wondering how much is the car insurance in Kelowna as average ? EX : car value 30 k , with 10 years good driving history . What do you assume in average will be ? how much you guys pay for your car ?
The smoke can really depend on the year how thick it is. This past year it wasn't overly too bad but a couple years ago it was a bit worse. It depends on the person, and how they are affected by the smoke but it can sometimes force people to stay inside. Personally, it didn't affect me and my family this past year but a couple years ago we did stay inside on a couple really bad days and avoided doing physical exercise outside.
@@K_H-Channel it depends where you are looking. On average you could probably expect $1,700 depending on the building and location. Closer to downtown you might be able to get closer to $2,000
I was just wondering, I heard that in winter, fog blankets the whole valley and sticks there for months. Would having a house on some of the more hilly areas in kelowna (like in West Kelowna) avoid this problem, seeing as we would be above the clouds a little ?
It sometimes does help but I think it mainly depends on air pressure and the ceiling height of the clouds. I live in West Kelowna on a hill and we sometimes visibly can see above the clouds, however I would say most times not we don’t have enough elevation to see over the clouds. @@tonya.1697 You are absolutely right about that. It is in the eye of the beholder. I haven't spent a lot of time in Southern Ontario but assume it is similar/worse than on the prairies with respect to the bugs and mosquitos..... The bugs here aren't as much of a nuisance, virtually no mosquitos here due to the dry climate.
