I don't subscribe to that many channels. You won me with this solution. I've listened to a dozen-plus "You-Tube University" vids on the "next miracle noise suppression solution." I would listen to their rationale...and then their samples with an open mind...and then think, "Meh, I'm not even sure *you* here what you think you here." I was also about to write Waves off because you have, what, 4+ noise suppression solutions? Then I saw this vid: Noise suppression plugins in a chain. Like compression, I thought, "makes sense, different algorithms not "overapplied." ...So I pulled the trigger on both pieces WNS + NS1. Bought them this morning. Wow - Barely 5 minutes in, and this chained solution was clocking it out of the park. It's fast, smart. The two plugins work together well. Very very happy with this solution.
Both are brilliant and I am very glad to have them in my kit. Really, so much easier to use and with less artefacts and weirdness than I have experienced using the previous ‘fingerprint’ type processes. 🙏😎
i use both sparingly during the post mix stage, usually to tame high-end air or an annoying click in the sample, thankfully both situations do no harm for my lo-fi, sample-based production as a lil imperfections never hurt. never used both at the same time though, but i understand why one would...

I’m e been using BL denoiser. I would love to try these out for a forensic audio file that has an obvious fan in the background amongst chatter from a some tv show. I have to clean up the audio file for a project.
If you don't want to make one instance of WNS work too hard processing a particularly noisy track, couldn't you just use a second instance of WNS to clean up the remainder of the noise instead of buying NS1 to use as the second plugin?
Depending on how bad the source audio is, with any form of noise suppression there will often be some small tonal trade off to consider such as the highs being choked slightly. Personally, I’d rather that than persistent hiss or hum. If you need to make up the highs, try adding a dynamic EQ (such as F6) after the noise remover plugins. Use a high shelf but instead of compressing this filter expand it. Alternatively you could also use a harmonic exciter (such as Aphex) to add some brightness. Check our Aphex tutorial out th-cam.com/video/63nKuxQCdJc/w-d-xo.html hope that helps, thanks for watching
I am having problems with the hiss noise that are intentionally put in on vocal plugins from waves. they add together to make this something interfering. the cla series is really chalanging. any ideas for this?

Not sure any of these examples need to be any cleaner. Each clip is played in isolation to help viewers really hear the process. In “the real world” most of these examples would be in the context of a mix alongside other tracks, meaning your ear wouldn’t necessarily hear any remaining noise.
If you feel the highs get slightly compromised, which would be dependent on the source material, then maybe Aphex could help put some air back into your tracks. We covered this plugin in a tutorial recently th-cam.com/video/63nKuxQCdJc/w-d-xo.html
Good question! Best to try to mitigate any issues at source, its just good house keeping BUT if your audio sadly ends up with some issues then use these in the mix.
Clarity vx and deverb does a better job at preserving the signal chain. I have all 3 plugins and I can definitely tell. I also have UAD CVOX and Clarity VX can easily compete against it, that's how good clarity vx is even against Izotope rx.

Never thought of using both together, always used NS1 but this sounds great.
I use NS1 at about 5 or 10 but if you use a gate on Rvox it still allows the high end to peak through
The ns1 is great. Rarely use it. But when you need it, it’s there to save you

Is this somewhat better than using Z-Noise?
The best suppressors ever. Thanks sir😎❤️

How about two of them on one channel causing phase issues on Mono recording...
Is evolution of the Z-Noise. Perfect.

No, no, no. God. You have to buy more.
Great video!
this. 👏🏾. is.👏🏾. What.👏🏾. I .👏🏾. NEEDED👏🏾!
thank you sir for this amazing trick
Can you use this over a vst instrument track real-time ?
0 latency using it natively according to Waves website.
This is black magic
I want to purchase these two immediately so I am gonna get the trial download first .
I use these as a monitor engineer but I can't stand how it chokes the highs.

Turn off the analog knobs wherever you can to reduce the noise.
What about mouth noises?
Wait? Why would you purchase both Waves WNS and NS1 when you could open 2 instances of Waves WNS and accomplish the same goal? 😅
Great video! Thanks Dan!
Thanks for sharing buddy! Hope you are well!
