It’s funny how Dan was like “I hope it doesn’t end in ah snow globe” when in the last scene of Community there’s a family playing a game called “Community” and the dad implies that Community was a just in a snow globe the whole time only to find out that they’re part of the show and that they’re not even real...outstanding!
Both the reference in the finale and his comment here are references to the '80s TV program St. Elsewhere where the series finale revealed that the entire show had taken place in a snow globe imagined by an autistic child. It was considered both brilliant and frustrating at the time and nowadays the program is mostly forgotten save the snow globe ending.
All the jokes at Gillian and Britta's expenses feels a bit sadder after that zoom Q&A when Gillian just casually brought up her past experience with isolation and self-loathing. Even Yvette was alarmed enough to reach out to her twice during that chat after she said that.
Glad that Jim Rash has his head on straight. I too strip down every time i am angered. It helps when the person im angry at can see how red my body is getting with fury
@@bencapka6421 I believe Abed could of pretended to be a character when he asked his, more fun that way. So they all actually insane. Jeff filled his out randomly but if Annie, Britta and Shirley are insane then no way is Jeff not. And Pierce been always insane.
I know this is from 7 years ago, but I understood that in that episode they re-entered their answers and I assumed that Jeff would answer honestly this time around. There's no way he is sane since he's clearly a narcissist. That episode is a bit strange overall to me, since if they mean by "insane" dangerous and potentially murderous, then I could get why it's not Abed, but it should also be not Troy, since his character is just supposed to be dumb. And if with "insane" they mean having some sort of personality disorder, then it's just a bit unreasonable not to include Abed, since he's clearly on the autism spectrum. I think that you could say that what was communicated to us at the end of that episode is that Abed is the only one who has a healthy lifestance. And I think that is rather because than despite him being selfish (even though we also see in future episodes how he can take that too far). All the other characters let what others think of them get to their heads (narcissist, overachiever, popular guy, Machiavellian (concealed with Christianity), spoiled rich "kid" who always feels left out, wannabe activist/woke).
Just a wry observation that Gillian Jacobs, who attended a rather prestigious institute of higher learning called Juilliard, draws on all her fancy learning to define what a verb is.
Yeah. I kinda thought it was a throw back to the cookie crisp wizard episode where Jeff says, "sometimes I think you and I are the only sane ones here", to Abed.
Hmm... "You should wear more sweaters". This reminds me of the first episode of the fourth season when Abed has the different fantasies, and then tells Annie she should study forensics.
what if instead of the whole it's a dream or a tv show thing it goes back to abed on the very first day of school again and the show was all him playing things out in his head and since it's already been determined that he can tell the future in some sort of way it all plays out the way we watched it so it's not as much of a cop out
Because the "it was all inside of the mind of an autistic child" ending has already been done in a show I never saw called St. Elsewhere. Far be it from Dan Harmon to pass up an homage, but I don't think he'd ideally want to end the whole series that way. (Also, I just finished watching the video and it turns out Dan made an allusion to the St. Elsewhere ending in this video, saying he was glad it didn't end that way)
+GrandeSizeIt the "it all happend in someones mind" ending is mindblowing the first time you see it and you are still a kid, but in reality its just a lame, cheap gimmick. it can make whole shows and movies pointless.

Hmmm...I was thinking. If I my legs were alternating left to right allowing me to navigate around my surroundings (let's pretend you are a child first learning this), would this not be described as walking from a person who knows the verb? So technically the world walk is not the action itself, but the description of that action; it facilitates the description.
Yeah it would, many people spend ages in university/college because of failing class it would be easy to write in that they failed or didn't make the required credits to graduate on time.
Technically, the verb doesn't describe the actions. The verb *is* the action. An element that kinda describes the action would be the adverb. Sorry for being an smartass. Still, I love Gillian. She's just the best.
Technically, doesn't every word describe something? Words are dead, they aren't the actual things. They are used to communicate the thing they express.

The Krampus movie also ends in a snow globe 😅
I love how the cheers dropped an octave lower when Alison mentioned the GQ photo-shoot.
Man this cast has such amazing chemistry, I love it so much

Jeff is also possibly sane because he filled it out randomly.
He IS sane. Harmon wrote it into the first season. Jeff asks Abed why they're the only sane members of the group and Abed doesn't deny it.

Meanwhile, Abed ended up finishing the series by canonically destroying all civilization with a meteor.
+gpoop23 I wish they ended season 6 that way that would be so cool.
gpoop23 Darkest timeline canon ending.
Gillian Jacobs is so elegant and goofy at the same time.
I was crushing Alison Brie. Now, after watching a lot of Gillian Jacobs interview: Gillian Jacobs is too perfect
Gillian Jacobs should have been Harley Quinn.
She's such a natural dork that her entire character changed. She could totally pull off Harley Quinn.
I can see that
That’s literally just because she looks like Margot robbie
@@TheMastermind729 she doesn't even look like Margot Robbie, she's just blonde😭
