Wow!...At first I thought the stones were wall paper, contact paper, or some type of back splash stickers. However, I was knocked over when you started painting. I love the look of the finished product. You have inspired me to try doing this type of faux stone look on my project this year. Thank you for sharing your tutorial video I really appreciate it. 😊💝
The fireplace surround is amazing! Best one like it that I’ve seen and I’ve been looking at a lot! You are a very talented artist and builder and I appreciate the very detailed instructions because that makes it so much easier to duplicate…except the beautifully done painting of the stones since I don’t have any artistic ability! I’m sorry to see you only did a few videos because of how well done this one is. I hope whatever you’re doing now is giving you enjoyment and allowing you to use your many talents! Thank you for sharing this wonderful project! 💕👌👍💯💖
WOW!!! You are so talented very artistic very creative and it came out so beautiful. You did a great job it is amazing and you are awesome. Such a creative work of Art.
Wow this is so beautiful! I saw a girl on tik tok do this so came to TH-cam to see a tutorial and yours is so creative and so much work was put into it! I hope to make one this week for the holiday decor aesthetic 😆❤️
That's really beautiful. I love that you kept the mantle white. What patience you have to paint all those stones. New subscriber. I can't wait to see you coming creations.
I have been researching how to make a faux fireplace and this is by far my favorite tutorial I’ve come across. I just had to subscribe to your channel. Going to give this a try. Any suggestions on how to make a base?
Thank you so much! It only cost me $9.00 for all the boards, but I did use other materials like paint and glue sticks. Unfortunately, I don't have the cost for that stuff, since I already had them in my craft supplies.
@@happygirlcreations3350 Wow, a $9.00 dollar faux fire place!! Like no where in the United States, or abroad could you get anything like this!! Wow, thanks for sharing..be blessed😍💖👍
I'm sorry I only heard the number 6 and 4 foam boards. So what is the other items I need from dollar tree I want to attempt to make this and get started as soon as possible
Hi Amanda. The other boards were project display boards. They are the cardboard sheets that fold up into three sections. They are usually located in the stationary supplies right near the foam boards. You'll also just need a pencil, hot glue sticks, X-acto knife, yard stick, a scrap cardboard box, and some "tools" to texturize the foam boards to make them look like stone. I used earthtone paints, as well as black, gray, and white. I think that's about it. Good luck!
@@happygirlcreations3350 thank you so much. I bought my hot glue gun today at walmart but need to make it to dollar tree. Can't wait to attempt to make this.
@@happygirlcreations3350 Thank you you really saved me. I want to make a Hogwarts themed bedroom and wanted a fake fireplace! I saw tutorials but they require buying actual wood and im only 17 in an apartment I wouldn't be able to saw something so big or even be allowed to do so lol. This is so amazing bless your creativity!!!!!! You gave me so much hope 💞💞💞
@@emilyperez694 Thats so awesome that at 17 you want to do this. I'd fall over if I walked into my teenagers room and they did something this cool, I get excited if he makes his bed =) I hope it turned out amazing.
Anyone know the measurements of the Project Display Boards? Couldn't find it at all at the Dollar Tree, but elsewhere I was able to find two different sized one's, so I need to know what the size was that she used.
I believe the ones they sell at the dollar tree are about 28x40, 27.25x39.25 to be specific coming from the website, but she did add height with extra cardboard so a bigger one would probably suffice
Hello thanks I made the faux fire following your measurements. I couldn't make the mantle. I am NOT good with math. I think it turned out TERRFIC!! I want to send you a picture but I'm not sure how to send it.
I am slowly working on another project. My husband and I also have a small business as resellers, I homeschool my son, and I have to take care of chickens and my gardening. I am trying my best to get back to my crafty project and will try to post a video soon. There aren't enough hours in the day! :)

Hey as I followed your project all the way through I recommend that I tell people they need a extra spare box to add fireplace and top together
How many boards did you use? Awesome DIY!!!!
Unfortunately could barely hear you living with volume up all the way on my phone but was able to watch and see some of what you did. Very creative.

I went at 3 different dollar three, the 3rd one that I found it. Maybe you could find at dollar store, Dollorama etc...
@@gercinaable Thanks for responding, but that didn't help. My question was saying since I can't find it, what size is it supposed to be?
I believe the ones they sell at the dollar tree are about 28x40, 27.25x39.25 to be specific coming from the website, but she did add height with extra cardboard so a bigger one would probably suffice
