Great work guys , the pump can give more speed yet by having pressure bypass valves in front of the impeller in the housing that bolts to the transom . I run two pressure relief lines into one way valves that dump the water out the back beside the pump outlet . What this does is allows excess water pressure that can damage the pump tunnel to be managed and controlled so the tunnel does not inflate like a balloon ever so slightly each time you go top speed , reduces fatigue of the structure of the hull and drag .
@@markharmon4963 the pump can only process so much water and once you exceed the point it can intake the water you get pump stuffing like you seen in the video, it's very dangerous especially at 80+mph

@@JetSkiBrothers I also recommend install a good fuel pressure gauge to a fitting install right on top of the tunnel inside the hull just right above the shaft that’s where the pump is most pressure is loaded , that way you can keep an eye on your water pressure to see what changes you need , you just might need a higher rpm pitch this ski likes to see no more then 30 lbs and no more then 50 when comming off throttle or it will buck you, the higher the rpm and the more steady the pressure is your sweet spot. Nice build long time follower
Anyone can go buy a factory ski, take it somewhere and write checks until it runs 100mph, that’s not impressive. Building a one off machine that’s completely different than anything out there is bad ass. Many people just won’t understand, but anyone who loves building their own stuff and having something nobody else has gets it. This machine is the definition of built not bought.
im not sure if I missed all the details, but would be so cool to see the motor supercharged with a larger jet pump with the ability to push more power and water
@@Torch4ya yeah, a cam that favors higher rpm would helpful. Not sure why it isn't making the same rpm with the bigger pump when it should have plenty of power on tap as is.
JSBros! Fantastic been waitin a long time for this vid, and it's perfect. You have more torque then any other machine out there. Now we are looking forward to what you knuckle heads are gonna do with it. More water intake. Faster rpm for the impeller. Smaller nozzle to build pressure. Some weird robust gearing needed!!! To make it all happen!!! Damn Boyz, lookin forward to all the engineering shinanigans!!! My son and I will be watching.
Gonna save you time testing whats already been tested many, many times over 130mph.Dont touch the motor anymore and focus on the underside of the ski you guys have 7-8mph tied up down there and most of it is Free Speed.Optimal setup for an FZR is a Stock VXR ride plate with the rear bosses ground down for more angle, r&d intake grate, Stock SVHO 85mm exit nozzle, 160mm Solas prop pitched to a 13/17, and the fiberglass Keel hump infront of the intake grate ground down flat.
Wow super nice. A good sliencer and this would be super nice to have! Also if you really want speed you need to ditch impeller and go propeller as the jet pump suck you down to the water. Right now a allison with 4 people on board and a get setup would go faster, handle the waves better with a regular 250xs on the transom.

Cheers on the record for your LS swap!
Thank you, yes I’m sure we’ll be seeing more or Joel in the future. Obviously we like having him around👍 We worked hard to make this a better video then previous ones, so you mentioning that helps me know we are on the right track👍 seriously thanks for the feedback. 🍻
Maybe your next build will be putting a rotary engine in a water craft, I would love to see it
The scott water jet units are amazing, id hit them up and see if they would sponsor as they will take every bit of HP you can throw at em
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻really good work 👍🏼 it’s sounds incredible good , and if I ever should have a jet ski it would be a build from you 🤙🏼so cool
im not sure if I missed all the details, but would be so cool to see the motor supercharged with a larger jet pump with the ability to push more power and water
Looks like it needs a lot more RPM than HP at this stage, but what do I know.
Thank you very much!
That is super cool, I am thinking I need a jet ski.........
“IN THE WORLD”
Jeremy Clarkson should of said that 😂
But nice job mate ✌️🇬🇧
Awesome work guys super cool. 85 is crazy fast and i think 100 would be monumental. Love the content
Thanks, sounds like we are thinking the exact same thing. 85 is a great start but going 100+ is very much where we want to be. 👍🍻
Even if it’s not outrageously fast it sure sounds good.
Hot dam! Good job guys!!!🎉🎉
😮have you tried sitting as far forward as possible to see if that stops the hop😊 That’s Sic love it 😊
Awesome work guys!!
Pretty cool, but wait till they come off that thing at 85 miles an hour. It's gonna hurt! 😂
How is it possible that Tiny boat can even float let alone fit such a huge 6liter engine!
