Welcome to the Bay Area! I’ve done the GG Bridge from Concord (KCCR) a few times and found the best way to figure out if there is fog is to use the webcams. That doesn’t help much if you’re coming from 3 hours away, though…. Do try again - it’s a great view with no fog!!
Great video, thanks for the great tour. To help reduce the chance of fog or clouds obscuring your view look for webcams from the Parks Conservancy to see the current conditions.
Did this for the first time last weekend. Fortunately it was cavu so all I had to do was stay under the bravo and on 124.3. Stunning views!
Amazing! What were you flying?

Great flight!!
Thank you!
Great video!
Great video! Since you left from an untowered airport who did you contact for flight following and who did you let know you were doing the bay tour?
Jeez, a Bay Tour seems like a pain in the butt. Also, I've never heard ATC use the term "beacon code". Is that the transponder?
It can be a lot of radio work and navigation and yes
Thanks for your great video. How long it took you from KTOA to Half Moon Airport?
It took somewhere around 3 hours to get to Half Moon Bay
How many hours did you guys put on the Hobbs that day?
8.0 hours
Everything in the video was cool other than the music on the background. I would rather enjoy radio communication.
Nice comms! Not so nice background music
