I love Knitting for Men. It starts with cautions about knitting for those who may not be worthy of your labors. All the patterns are for any size and any gauge-brilliant!

I liked your sweater! What pattern is it?

Thank you! The pattern is available on Etsy here: tidd.ly/3nIIUM9. It's knit with super bulky yarn, so it knits up pretty quick for a sweater. ❤

You're very welcome! I just found a couple more books I want to add to my collection. It might have become a small addiction. :)

Thank you Bromfield for this valuable video. I was totally confused about buying a better book which has it all from sweaters to baby knits to elderly cardigans, patterns etc. It is really helpful.

I have the same vintage Readers Digest book - I haven't referenced it in years but I know it's there. I get my inspiration these days from knitting videos such as yours and the 'younger' generation who podcast and vlog. I'm a more visual learner so really enjoy seeing how things are done ie youtube rather than print. I enjoyed your video - thank you. The Japanese Stitch Bible looks exquisite but way beyond me :)

Yeah, I hear ya. I never thought I'd enjoy TH-cam so much, but I love it! I agree with you on the Japanese Stitch Bible too! :)

Beautiful books, indeed; I have Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible and another one: "280 Japanese lace stitches" by Nihon Vogue and I just started Japanese embroidery style Sashiko

Hi Jennifer! I just discovered you when I needed to make some fingerless mitts for my sister. Loved that thumb gusset video! I've also just made the Wisdom hat.
These are great books. I'm familiar with several. I love books! I have The Principles of Knitting by June Hemmons Hiatt. Also The Handknitter's Handbook by Montse Stanley. Those are my "older" books. I also think you might enjoy The Knitter's Palette for ideas about color
. I do have a tip - browse your local library for knitting books. You can check them out and see if you like them before you buy. Thanks again for your videos!

I have several knitting books. But two of them I have I got to do one single pattern from each book. Most of my books are vintage, but I do own an antique book from the early 1900's.

Thank you! It's one of my favorite sweaters. I do have a pattern written, but it's not size inclusive, yet. I'm taking a grading class in January and I'm super excited to start releasing my sweater patterns. :)

Great ideas for presents for others and my own wish list 🌟❄️❄️❄️🎁♥️ in the Vintage books, the two without dust coves: Please list the full name.
