im not sure how they know (maybe mailing lists and visit forms you’ve filled out?) but i think it does help. if you look at michigans common data set, it shows that demonstrated interest in the school is considered, meaning they’ll take note of your efforts in reaching out/exploring UofM, and that this school is somewhere you would actually commit to
Hey i got an email from grad website uni of Michigan which says we recommend you for admission.. Does this mean that i am 100% selected?... Or there is a chance that i might get rejected?
