- In today's video, we'll be making a custom resin Dragon Eyes! This is a great project for beginners, and is perfect for anyone looking to experiment with resin crafting.
If you're a fan of fantasy art, then this project is for you! By the end of this video, you'll have a beautiful custom resin Dragon Eye sculpture that you can proudly display in your home or office!
Most Dragon Eye makers use glass cabochons & nail polish. Lets see if we can do it with only resin & mica powder, and maybe a marker pen!

I totally forgot about this when doing my dragon notepad covers, I painted in the eye but not too happy with it so trying to change it now that it's done
ah good luck, I'm sure you'll sort it out :)
Awesome! Love them all! Thanks so much for sharing!
You are so welcome! Gosh this video goes back a way, Im glad it's still a useful one :)
@@miniscenesgb I am new to resining, so I'm nonstop watching everything I can get my hands on. Once I had the current videos watched, I started going back to past ones. Had no idea resin even existed! Absolutely love every bit of it. Appreciate how helpful and generous you all are as well. Thank You!
@@sondrabergstrom1454 do ask if you have any questions, I’ll help if I can
@@miniscenesgb Will Do! Thanks!

Glad you liked this one :)
The colours and dimensions in these eyes are truly amazing. They turned out perfect ♥ Thank you for taking the time to share this technique, I look forward to seeing more.
watch this space on this one - I've been developing a proper kit to make dragon eyes, I'll post up a video as toon as it's all ready to go on sale too
The eyes are beautiful. Thank you. 😊
Glad you like them!
Those look really cool! I dig the colors you used
Thank you :) It was fun doing this. Look out for part 2 , I've had some more ideas
The eyes are cool really loved them ❤ can i ask how how much time does epoxy need to dry ? And was the marker you used at the end a normal marker or a special kind ?
Depends which epoxy you use. This was a 24 hour cure one. The pen I think I used was just a Sharpie, but if I did this again I think I’d use either an alcohol marker or just acrylic paint
Less is more. I feel like all you are doing is blending the colors, not leaving distinct lines with just one round of strokes.
That's how I wanted them :) Blended, for lined just leave the resin to thicken more too
I like your videos but the sound is very low and makes it hard to understand you
Odd, no one else has ever commented that. I have a full mic set up. I just watched this one back, seems fine?
Love your videos. Really enjoy watching your process - makes me feel good about my own process!! Thanks for sharing :)
Glad you like them. I'm having great fun doing them
