  • In today's video, we'll be making a custom resin Dragon Eyes! This is a great project for beginners, and is perfect for anyone looking to experiment with resin crafting.
    If you're a fan of fantasy art, then this project is for you! By the end of this video, you'll have a beautiful custom resin Dragon Eye sculpture that you can proudly display in your home or office!
    Most Dragon Eye makers use glass cabochons & nail polish. Lets see if we can do it with only resin & mica powder, and maybe a marker pen!

    I totally forgot about this when doing my dragon notepad covers, I painted in the eye but not too happy with it so trying to change it now that it's done

      @@miniscenesgb I am new to resining, so I'm nonstop watching everything I can get my hands on. Once I had the current videos watched, I started going back to past ones. Had no idea resin even existed! Absolutely love every bit of it. Appreciate how helpful and generous you all are as well. Thank You!

    The eyes are cool really loved them ❤ can i ask how how much time does epoxy need to dry ? And was the marker you used at the end a normal marker or a special kind ?

    • @miniscenesgb
      @miniscenesgb  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends which epoxy you use. This was a 24 hour cure one. The pen I think I used was just a Sharpie, but if I did this again I think I’d use either an alcohol marker or just acrylic paint

    Less is more. I feel like all you are doing is blending the colors, not leaving distinct lines with just one round of strokes.

    • @miniscenesgb
      @miniscenesgb  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's how I wanted them :) Blended, for lined just leave the resin to thicken more too

    I like your videos but the sound is very low and makes it hard to understand you

      Odd, no one else has ever commented that. I have a full mic set up. I just watched this one back, seems fine?
