Unrelated to the key fob, but why does my 2024 Limited Crosstrek not make the chime sound when I shut the car off? It used to, but after 1000 miles, it doesn't any more... I can't find an answer anywhere nor do I know what those chimes sounds when starting and stopping the car are supposed to mean. Thanks!
The Subaru logo on my key fob is too hight, I accidentally unlocked the door without knowing maybe time with the key in my pocket. I end up have to pealed the logo off.
Press & Hold the LOCK button, Press the Subaru (Unlock) button TWICE, LED will flash 2x, REMOTE FOB is DISABLED, to ReEnable, Press any button on key fob. Also the set the PIN code access : th-cam.com/video/uBKE7_Yn3y0/w-d-xo.html (This works for 2019 Forester at least. If it doesn't work for you, try googling for other videos)

How do you disable the fob so someone can't steal the signal?
