@@evanriddle1614 When the separator will be completely dry, then is a bit hard to reactivate. About the dendrites, yes and no, because you still need to control the charging voltage. If you overcharge the cell then the dendrites can penetrate the separator. But otherwise is a nice separator.

Patent is expired by the way. Also something pretty close is Patent No NL1032043. I think this is the future of batteries where no more pollution will occur. I can get some voltage to lit up 20 LEDs using just deionised water copper wire and aluminium wire and nothing else. They last years and only little water should be added now and then. Also works by just wrapping in teflon one of the electrodes, or just use PEG as “electrolyte
