Dude, enough. Stop talking about it breaking!! Just like 95% of the actual owners on the Maserati forums, I've had my 2017 for a few years now and have had absolutely zero issues with it. It's just as reliable as the seven best I've owned through the years from Stuttgart.
Another great video, watching these makes even my bank account shudder at the thought of a repair bill. While I agree that the Granturismo is an excellent grand tourer, I am not sure if its better than an equivalent Aston for the money. Keep it up!
Its always rly interesting to watch vids of people who buy exotic sports cars and what they like about it, since I'm a built over bought guy. Like you can make a 900 dollar 6 cylinder car sound amazingly beautiful, and drive fast, and look super unique with aftermarket bodykits or custom lips and skirts, I almost forget that there are people who buy cars for like 7x the price and then they don't get the satisfaction of building something one of a kind. I'm not hating though, that's a pretty car, It's just a very interesting contrast to see!
I wanted this car for so long soon as I was able to afford it. I couldn’t even fit in it. I’m 6’7, but now I’ve been looking at the ghibli or quattroporte. All Maserati are nice no matter which one you get. But I rather have a coupe. I definitely am gonna get a pre inspection before getting any though. Only car I drove that I liked as much is the Porsche Cayenne Gts and they last also. But I don’t think I can fit comfortably in the Ghibli or Quattroporte I’ll see. If I can’t then I just won’t get any car and I’ll just triple my net worth.
This car is awesome, if you wanna pick any women that's the car you want, you had a bad day? Get in this car and drive instantly you will be smiling and very reliable
If you get one of these in *good condition*, then it'll be a MUCH more enjoyable experience. It feels so much more special than a C7. BUT, the C7 will give you a more guaranteed ownership experience, and if things do go wrong, repairs will not be as expensive. All depends on the risk you're willing to take. The Granturismo sounds better, rides better, feels just as fast, and gets A LOT more attention.
Get a maserati, they look better, sound better and can be as fast as a vette c7 if you get a sport stradale trim or something. They are great cars if they have no bad history. Dont get one under 2014 also.

that maserati sound was always second to none 👊 i recall doing security as a kid basically and i heard a car coming at like 7a while i was inside of the guard booth, hadn't heard nothing like that before and when it pulled up to the guard booth, it was a 2 door maserati and i was like what a car!!! 🫵😉

Wow. My 2017 has a personality, no doubt, it's Italian. Purchased with 30,000 miles. I've had to do the 30,000 mile service on it, 1800.00, and replaced the air pump, parts 600, my own labor, and the car does have noisy upper bushings, (normal problem on these cars) but then again, these issues are small in comparison with the shear joy driving it brings me. You go looking for trouble, you're gonna find it. BTW, an alternator is about 800 for a maserati part, 400 for aftermarket. Labor is about 1200 from a competent shop. You're 5 grand estimate is way off. Next time, take the time to SEE the actual car before you buy it and trash the maintenance of these beautiful automobiles. You get what you pay for......I suggest you have some cheese with your whine.
$40k but how many miles did U get it with ? Any information on service intervals that U can share on your channel on this car would be great.. Insurance information, even though I know it will vary from state & city.. I’m in Miami & U do see a few, but there’s so many convertible options out there that I think overall people just stay away because besides the co$t of repairs it’s also the haste of having a repair shop that will work on it besides the dealer…
I am glad he loves it but typical Maserati owner. Loves the exhaust notes and drives it completely straight because they all know they don't corner well. I am still looking for a Maserati video wherein someone doesn't drive them straight the entire time. Still looking....
I've owned a 1988.5 Lamborghini Contach 5000QV and I prefer my 2011 Maserati GranCabrio S which has 4 useable seats and is realistically quicker and faster than my Lamborghini. And it is cheaper to service than the 48 valve V12, plus it gets better gas mileage.
Absolutely amazing car. I had the biggest crush on one until the Lexus LC 500 came out. Lexus reliability with V8 that has same horsepower, sounds better, looks better and more modern. If you ever encounter any issue consider the LC 500!
The LC500 sounds great but I don't think it sounds as good as this. This engine sounds more like a musical instrument while the Lexus is more like a jackhammer. Still sounds great though. Like Eddie Van Halen vs. Vivaldi 😂
I drove and reviewed the 2019 Ghibli. I gotta say, this thing brings it to the NEXT LEVEL. The V8 is so much louder than the V6, and the power is definitely noticeable. Plus the looks are so much better

I have owned ghibli SQ4 for nine years, and recently traded in for a granturismo. Overall,ghibli is a great car and the power is very decent. Comparing to the ghibli, The sound and handling is a next level and that shows why granturismo is almost cost two times than the ghibli in Canada

You might check you're power steering fluid. If it's hydraulic, they can sometimes whine if low on fluid.

I bought a 2017 MC with 14,800 miles…now with 17,700 after 1 year…..love it.
