Joe, you really need to start properly learning Italian. You have the best resource right beside you! Laura! It's so much fun learning new languages and it would make your trips to Italy much more enjoyable I bet. I'd be happy watching an entire vlog in Italian and for you to add subtitles.
Hey, thanks for the reply. Of course, he'd be learning Italian from Laura, so he'd be learning Neapolitan Italian. What I was trying to say was that if I was in Joe's position that I'd find it very difficult not being able to communicate with my in-laws so it would push me to learn my spouse's language. Neapolitan Italian is tough to get your ear around (I studied Italian language in university for 4 years and had several lectures from Napoli) but not impossible by any means, just different. And if he has never learned "standard" Italian then he probably would not find it as tough as he wouldn't be comparing the two. Anyway this comment is getting way too long. We're both saying the same thing really, learning a bit of the language would be a good thing! :)
But it would make sense for joe to learn, no? His wife's family speaks the language and they spend time there every year, it would make sense for him to make a real effort to learn new phrases every year! He's a smart guy, I bet he would excel.
MissAyela Ha! I love Joe but I must admit I was kind of thinking the same thing (lol)...It is going to take a while to be fluent but maybe if he could be at least conversational I think the experience would be that much more intense, and fun :)
I just love these Italy vlogs and look forward to them all year! It's so nice to see the Italian culture. It amazed me how the American coffeemaker was such a rarity over there. It makes you realize how many different cultures there are in the world. Thank you for the wonderful vlogs!
Oh so sad to hear that Nonna fell hope she is ok give her a hug for me. Laura your mum is looking so beautiful and girl you were so glowing beautifully at the dinner table in the end of this video. Your vacation is really agreeing with you. Love how little Laura loves Joe and wanted him to dance with her soooo sweet. Hugs Alli.
Joe you have me laughing when you have us sit there watching your coffee slowly be made while you go off and do your own thing from the reflection lol!! I love all the videos keep up the great work. And Laura your beautiful as always. Have a safe trip back and God bless
Thank you for sharing your trip with us!! Your family is just super lovely...Nonna is the sweetest ☺ you truly brought back all my memories from my trip there and it makes me miss Italy soooooooooooo much. Thanks again for sharing!!!!!
I feel so sorry the language barrier is getting in the way of Joe communicating well with everyone. He clearly wants to be included in the conversation but Laura doesn't translate all the time for him. She's so deep in conversation herself. I understand that it can be annoying to having to keep stopping to translate. Joe should learn Italian so Laura doesn't have to translate and he can communicate with everyone on his own. I just feel bad that he has to keep asking what are they saying.
The camera quality is amazing!!! I have enjoyed these Italy vlogs so much. Thank you for sharing your lives and taking us along for the ride. You have such a wonderful family
Thank you for sharing your lives and family with us! My husband is part Italian and I'd love to go to Italy someday! Also I think Laura looks like Uncle Tony! (Same beautiful eyes).
Wow! Are you using a different camera? The resolution is fantastic...when Laura & her Mom were walking, I felt like I was walking right along side of thrm?!
The next installment of the 'American Coffee Caper'!! Hi Uncle Tony!! Great to see you both having so much fun with Laura's family! Hope Nonna is okay after her fall, and she is feeling better very soon. Sending my Canadian love and hugs to you all, Sherrey ❤❤

Love love love your Italian vlogs. It is making me miss all my family back in Calabria. As you are driving through the town it brings back so many memories of being in Italy. and all the food you eat makes me so HUNGRY hahaha Hope you both are having a fantastic time. BTW The camera quality is amazing!
I love how they look at joe like he's speaking a different language. Haha. (I know he is). Gonna miss your Italy blogs, everyone there is so beautiful & their accent!!! Awesome!
Thank You so much for sharing .... What a family , it brings back such great memories of my past growing up in an Italian-American family .... the family get togethers....the characters ....AH ... cherish every moment you can ...... and it looks like you do, that why ALL of you VBLOGs are so enjoyable . Once again I'm new to you guys ..... BUT ALL THE BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR BUSINESS VENTURES ...and SUCESS .... Its so refreshing to see REAL PEOPLE not ACTING! Distinti e geuinenss di Joe è molto apprezzata

Ahhh cool...you wore your new kimono! Clothes like this are perfect for a day at the pool or the beach!! And I looove your italy vlogs!! Wonderful Family
Joe & Laura what you guys need is some Bustelo in your lives because american coffee is weak. This coffee first was started in spain then cuba and then puerto Rico and finally NYC El Barrio where Gregorio Bustelo started selling it to local restaurants it eventually made its way to supermarkets. So yea Latin coffee is your way to go lol you are welcome Debbie a proud Puerto Rican
Joe some of my family just got back from Italy yesterday and what they do is they buy coffee at the airport and bring it with them. That way you don't have to go looking for it when you get there. And for some strange reason my family never eats McDonald's there craving it right now. lol!
what type of white wine do they spray/infuse the chicken with? can't wait to see the blogs of sal and elena in america this fall!! i get it that laura and joe indulge in italy (Who wouldn't everything tastes sooo good!) but how do sal elena and uncle tony's wife, who live there, keep their shape so good? amazed!
***** Suzanne Saah The weird thing is...If you watch AprilJustinTV, they also have a Canon GX7 but the quality of their video and stabilization is not nearly as good as TheVitales, but they are both using the same camera! Unless TheVitales are using something else! I hope they let us know soon because I would love to buy one. Or perhaps the Vitales know how to use the setting better!
I really enjoy the Italy video's.. Laura your family is so fun to watch. Sal and his girlfriend are great.. You need to go more than once a year.. :) Laura tell Sal and all the family I enjoyed them very much..
I'm not a vlogger, but I know that its not easy to whip your camera out and start vlogging, I appreciate that you didn't compromise on the time or quality, THANK YOU!

American coffee, pretty blunt.lol I use 2 heaping tablespoons for every 4 and a half cups. Comes out really good. I think the rule is 4 heaping tablspoons for an 8 cup maker, but if you like it stronger then add more. Joe, your commentary is always so funny.I wanted a mozz ball so bad when the clerk was fishing them out of the vat. Poor Nonna, I hope she didn't hurt. Italian men wear nice shirts. Laura, your family is so sweet.
I died laughing when Joe point out at the dorita and asked 'Is that the female version of doritos. Dorita!'. 😂

***** I also want to add that I was by no means hating on Joe, just giving my opinion.
But it would make sense for joe to learn, no? His wife's family speaks the language and they spend time there every year, it would make sense for him to make a real effort to learn new phrases every year! He's a smart guy, I bet he would excel.

Is it me or is the quality of this vlog better than before like the camera seems to glide when it moves its amazinggggg
Yup. Italians in Italy definitely don't want to sit with a giant mug. Lol. They're content with their espresso cups.
Love the camera! Very good quality!
