Ainda assim, o Gamma Ray ainda é minha banda favorita, e o Helloween eu diria que é a segunda, mas pelos sons clássicos.

vi o helloween em 96(Weikath/Markus originais) ja nao era a mesma coisa imagina agora... sou da época do keeper 1(87)... sempre tive a sensaçao de que o metal nunca mais seria o mesmo na virada da década e na deu outra, 90% das bandas mudaram o som ou a formaçao... olha o monsters of rock '13 no Brazil uma bela farça! Todas aquelas bandas quando eram grandes se lascavam para o Brasil agora que estao decadentes vem pra ca, o metal de certa forma está bem morto nao acha? (...)

Apart from the fact that if you judge people and their passion for music or for some genres in particular only by their look or their age, it would be "enough said". In Japan back then and now too, there are many many metalhead (of any age, like in the rest of the world), and some of them run tv shows, some even specialized in hard/metal. At that time Gamma Ray as well as Helloween some years before (and many other power metal bands) were literally worshipped in Japan, a market that has saved from extinction many classic metal (and hard rock) bands in the years of grunge, "alternative" etc. So nothing "bizarre" or exceptional in this video, that surely someone (perhaps a fan) shot at the wedding and sent it at that japanese tv show; i don't think there was a crew of that japanese tv in Germany for the purpose. Clearly, even the invitation card was sent, the one that's showed by the conductor.

@@MundoOval Yeah he auditioned for Priest, and the other reason was Ralf had a full time job in Stuttgart while the rest of the band were based in Hamburg, so Ralf could only come on weekends. The rest of them wanted Ralf to move to Hamburg, but Ralf's boss was unable to arrange him a job at the company's Hamburg post, and Ralf didn't want to quit the job because Gamma Ray were making so little money back in the day, so ultimately he chose to leave the band.
