You hit in the nail there Jake, we the only team that played a full strength Leinster team, no other SA team has faced them full strenght. we won one and they won 2 so not bad for the bulls. And we have an opportunity to get another win this weekend.
If 6 try Leinster play as they did against Ulster and Bulls play as they did against Bennetton, Leinster will win it. They've played against a full Leinster team before but not exactly against what's coming their way next weekend and the Bulls will definitely be playing better too. It will be an epic game for sure. Leinster by 10 I think. If Jake is talking about the weather, that's not so good. It was an unusually hot day in Dublin against Ulster ironically enough, I think it was our whole summer !! Lol.
They normally really on these 2 wingers to create some spark from the back , otherwise the bulls game plan is predictable and no real playmakers to scare Leinster
Indeed we struggled, but I do believe that Jake and the coaching staff don't want to show the whole picture as to what the Bulls can do. The boys will raise their game for the leinster fixture.......
Jake the Bulls as playing like a team afraid of losing. Start playing like a team that wants to win. Dont be afraid of playing. As a surporter, i will be disappointed if you lose and do not play.
Jake Leinster will be coming to Loftus to play. The Bulls should do the same. Fear will kill your game. Play and if you lose then so be it. Stop this nonsense of knock-out rugby BS talk. This is the reason for the team to be afraid.....afraid of losing
The Bulls will be ready ffor Leinster, remember we started with a house on fire and some balls didnt stick because of handling errors, next week we must play tempo rugby and also play phases sucking people in to run the ball at the back, it is going to be a lekker game, buy your tickets and lets fill up Loftus to the brim, lets give leinster a hostile environment, let us be the 16th man in the stand, Go Bulls, great team and evolving and growing, happy to be a bull. we can rectify the mistakes and be better for Leinster,
Bulls will not win against leinster if they pitch up with the same nonsense next weekend. The team is no longer inexperienced, this is the third season. No more excuses
Sure, but to lose your two World Cup winning wingers in the same week and just before the semi-finals is not ideal. i want to see what Jake comes up with
Yes, you are right Jake. Some of us thought benetton should give you a run with their substandard Italian internationals, but did not realize that they will show you up for the one-dimensional predictable and uninspiring rugby we have become accustomed to. If it were not for a distinctly average leinster (in the context that they are virtually an Irish international team) then the Bulls would have real worries. And yet they still might have because these Irish have done nothing in the last 3 years. They are literally the psychologically wound, and who knows what that will do to their psyche.
I think that's very harsh and unfair. The Bulls is the best attacking team in the URC and have broken the selfsame Leinster's tryscoring record. Defensively maybe not that strong, but to call them unimaginative? Come on!
@@megafoonsport I suppose it could be a bit harsh. But let's not confuse scoring against second teams too much. Though at some point all teams fields and plays against second teams. And barring Ospreys they are 12th weakest on defense in the URC. It is just concerning when two weeks ago they outscore the same team by 9 to 5 tries that they could only manage to match 3 tries a piece this week.
@@2msystems740 Remember this was at the end of the season, so everyone played everyone. They were uncharacteristically nervous (I asked Jake about this at the press conference) and the loss of KLA was huge. Check out our Lekker Rugby Pod where I chat with Harry Jones about this specifically. Publising tonight.
@@megafoonsport And btw, Leinster is an overrated team who will be desperate to bring some mot reen to their 3 year drought. They can be beaten if the Bulls plays proper defense and cut out their behind the man passing (or should I call it ball handing to the next 5 players standing less than a meter from each other). They wear you down by keeping the ball, but going nowhere. Once they wear you out with this unproductive play, then they dominate you. And sometimes it backfires, because they run themselves into the ground. Put GP under pressure and keep Lowe from getting quality ball and leinster will grind to a halt by the 60th minute.
Bulls were pathetic overall, very disappointing. Leinster will destroy them if they play anywhere in the poor class they did on the weekend. Where is the leadership? Where is the accountability? Jake, enough excuses.

The American Rugby guru Chris Wyatt is a knowledge in Rugby. Really appreciate his mature questions. Man among boys
Sat next to me in the press conference. Will be talking to him this week.

It's pretty cold here, don't worry! For Pretoria anyway🤣

Its basically Ireland vs. The Bulls next week.
Yes. Weakened Bulls unfortunately. Will still be an epic contest

The Boks is not the problem. They way the Bulls played last night will not make them win, sorry. They will be humiliated.
