I've never been to an Iron Maiden concert, but I love your channel. You're emotional response to Nicko's retirement was wonderful. That's all I wanted to say.
The rugby match depicted on the NZ possibly renders the All Blacks (NZ's national rugby team) versus The Barbarians, a UK club that has played several legendary matches against NZ. I recall rugby also featuring on a Maiden shirt in 2008 when they played at Twickenham UK. Great vid, as always, chaps!!
Hii, fun facts about the Chile one, even though eddie might be the weakest point of the shirt, especially in our country people loved it because of the attention to details of our country, the local fauna is there, the place where is located is on the Atacama Desert, wich is considered a perfect place to study space due to the clearness of the skyes, also the fact that the observatory is there and the aliens confirme it, also in the desert there is a place called the valley of the moon, which is the closest looking place on our planer to the moon. I have mix feelings with the desing, but i love it in the end because of how much tought and care went to that shirt. Great video guys!!

Like me not knowing the team on the New Zealand shirt... 😂 I am glad the locals were happy with it, it shows a level of care and detail by the artist. Greetings from the UK once again.Since i started buying t shirts at concerts-roughly 1978 onwards,i always buy at least 4/5 different ones at a gig,i love collecting them especially my Iron Maiden/Rush t shirts.One of my faves is the Judas Priest 1980 UK tour with Iron Maiden as support,it still fits me-just.
What they could do next year is a T-shirt for each album instead of being venue related. They could either put the exact album cover or do an artwork inspired by the cover, and add something different in the back. That way fans could buy a T-shirt from their favourite album and from this tour at the same time.
Hi Steph & James, I've a friend who lives in Sydney, he sent (without telling me) over to Dublin the Future Past Hoodie & The Event shirt for Australia .. Jaw Dropped when I got it.. Beautiful shirt.. Been a fan of the band since '82, didn't come to Ireland until '90.. Still hopeful..They've "Never" done an event shirt for Ireland.. Can't wait for next year.. Going to see Eddie & the Boys in Malahide Castle.. 20 mins from where I live 4 stops away on the train!! Still.. Can't believe it.. Lisbon & Berlin.. Happy Christmas..
I just got my show-specific Future Past T from the Fort Worth show November 16th! It's awesome. I also got the "Texas Specific" Future Past T with Eddie as a badass cowboy. It is specific for the two Texas shows: Fort Worth and San Antonio. My God they were ON FIRE in Fort Worth. So glad I saw Nicko . To my ears he kicked ass and TO MY EARS Bruce sounded better to ME than he did in the two Houston shows I saw in Houston in 2017 and even 2019. Then again I had by far the best seat for the three Maiden shows I've seen in my lifetime at Fort Worth. They said they will be back for the 50th Anniversary Tour in 2026 so I begin my anxious wait. I also have bought replacement Ts for the Book of Souls and Legacy tours because my originals were worse-for-wear! Up the Irons Y'all!
I was at the LA and Fort Worth shows. I really did like the Texas event shirt the best! It was sold out when I tried to buy it, so I had to order it online. I'm surprised you guys didn't like it as much! I think it's the best one!

Hey! I was at that show too. There is a shirt on Amazon with the CHARLOTTE NC stop in it...that's what I ended up getting. I loaded up on shirts last tour but saw nothing that looked appealing. I'm a bit of an art whore for Derek's work.

When I first saw the California shirt, I thought "Sons of Anarchy" fictional biker gang from CA, so I have dubbed bandana Eddie "Anarchy Eddie". SOA was a show I was fully invested in when it came out, so I did like that shirt, quite a bit and it was my favorite from the tour. One other quick point, the microphone placement in this video is perfect. Giving that Eddie backdrop a "Kylo Ren" or even "Vader" flare from Star Wars. 🤣 You guys might be onto something.

Being Australian I bought the Aussie one from the show, and I preordered the Brazil shirt - the two bookends for this leg of the tour. Sad to miss the Japan and LA shirts, but if you could really get them all it would be less special.
Great video! Surprised you didn't specifically address this year's general US tour shirt (though you did mention the super odd pinky POM/SIT hybrid Eddie towards the end) which I thought was shockingly weak. I tend to prioritize those as they are often great but this years was not worth the money, especially since the regular SIT or Senjutsu based ones were far better. I really think The Book of Souls Tour (both years) had the highest average of quality shirts. The Vegas 2016 version is my personal favorite along with the NYC 2016 and Canada 2017. I think that Eddie just perhaps translated better into different settings when compared to the LoTB or Senjutsu Eddies. I dig these kind of videos, please continue to produce more like these. Cheers!
I didn’t grab a shirt this tour. I opted for the Total Eclipse shirt from the website. I gotta say the split face Eddie ( SIT/Senjetsu) was really good looking.

Was hoping that there would be something more specific to Las Vegas this year. Didn't care for the California shirt that they had at the LV show so I skipped buying that one. Texas shirt is great....check out the Sheriff of Huddersfield reference on it! But you are right it's very similar to the tan shirt. I bought the tan shirt and the basic 2024 tour shirt (loved the colors in it) ahead of time online, so the only shirt I picked up at a show was the Texas one...the line wasn't that bad in Fort Worth. Oh another thing about the Texas shirt...that Wanted sign on the back is very similar to one Derek Riggs created a few years back, which I even have on a beer mug that I got from Derek and Kim at one of their events. Speaking of Derek, I -think- you're hinting that maybe he'll be involved in some artwork for the band, for the RFYL tour and 50th. anniversary stuff?? Blink twice if "yes".
I think Mexico is my fav. Rant alert. So, I'm a t-shirt printer here in Florida and it drives me a little nuts that they don't offer a nicer shirt brand choice and a choice with some simpler logo art. As a printer I think they are missing a big market. Especially for people in there 50's and 60's. Some of the shirts they sell is like wearing a Frisbee on your chest. It kills me to spend 50 bucks on a Fruit of the Loom shirt that I know costs $1.89 (blank of coarse) but damn! That is some bank! My guess after printing shipping and hourly wage for the people working the booth they are paying about 10 to 12 per shirt. Clearing a profit of at least $36 per shirt. If they have 20K people at a show I'm guessing 10K by a shirt(It may not be that many people but considering many buy 2 or even 3) I would say that's pretty safe. Averaging $360,000 (profit) on t-shirts averaging each show. I'd pay $55 for a nice Next Level combed cotton with a 1 color logo. You can make up the extra cost and pay the same price because the printing will cost less but yet you can charge a little more and actually bank more! Just sayin' -end of rant. Fun video for a Maiden fan who is a t shirt printer! Maybe I should print my own. I know a guy 😜
The local/country shirts are mostly really bad ass. But as you said, the merch booth. As a german, i have it on my back. Really "simple". Fuck, you are right. The moon at the sky is from SIT. Unfortunately they only go in the shop for 48 hours after the gig. Maybe they will pop up in a future black Friday sale or something if they had overstock but that's no guarantee
i bought the cyborg/stranger in the diner with plate of brains at xcel in st paul. you shoulda showed it. but i guess it wasnt location sprcially made...
I am gonna be honest... I think the 2023 Event shirts were better. I have the Germany one which is cool, but the London Prisoner shirt was really cool.
I think the shirt have downgraded a bit, some of them are cool, but some others seem uninspired or I don't like the style of illustration. Which is kind of a surprise since Hervé Monjeaud made incredible designs for TBOS and LOTB tours. Idk maybe he's paid less or have less time, cause i'm sure he's really able to do better things, Maiden England cover is incredible! + and that's very perosnnal and completely absurd, i don't like when there are multiple Eddies in a design, to me Eddie is unique, Eddie can meet Eddie only if he goes through time You missed one of the US shirts where Eddie is eating in a dinner
Totally agree with you @IRONBEAST . I know they aren't album covers but they need to ask another artist or more to do them because it looks like the artist had not much time to do them and rushed them. And I also prefer only one Eddie at a time.
TBoS and LotB tours had much better event specific shirts. I hope they do more like that for RFYL. I agree with an earlier post, one shirt per album, with a credit to the song played. My favorite Eddie was a back drop during Clansman, wish I could get it as a poster/shirt.
You don’t have to pay $50. If you wait outside of the venue, you will see people selling the shirts for $20 and then a little bit later they will sell them for $10 as they are trying to get rid of them. I got a whole bunch of them for 10 bucks this year.
I only buy event shirts for shows I attended. Aus, this would make a great poster but think as a shirt design it is too busy in the bottom half. NZ, like it but would not have bought it if I was at the show. JP, bought this in Nagoya and think it is great, the best of the year. USA, a lazy design, didn't get it in Texas. Cali, good design. Canada, had I gone to the shows I would have bought it. NYC, natural on this one. Texas, like and bought. Mexico, like it and had to just because I went. Liked the rest of the South America shirts, but not sure I would have bought any of them.
I guess the best is Eddie Rips Up The World 83, Brann Dailor from Mastodon has two of these shirts. In general, selling shirts in such quantities is a real nonsense for a band. They would be better off caring about the quality of their music than making millions on rags, games, vinyl boxes for consumers.

Yeah, TBOS was a fantastic tour as far as t shirt designs went!! A lot of the shirts these past 2 years have just felt a bit rushed out IMO.

I think there's ;een some great work done for them by other artists, but Derek Riggs will always be the heart of Maiden artwork!
