Thanks for this. I will be in this exact same room for my cruise. I saw a video where they showed an aft studio (between two balcony cabins) and the sofa bed looked more like an uncomfortable pull-out style; this appears better on video.
Hello, it’s a normal bed that is perfect for one person. I just got off MSC Grandiosa and the bed was two beds pushed together. I was always falling between the two beds, but this solo cabin on Meraviglia has a bed that is just one bed and it was always in this bed positon. It was very comfortable, so don’t hesitate booking this cabin
@cruiseaddict I did cruise in that room and loved it. The bed was great, seemed to be bigger than a normal twin by at least 25%. I did a solo aft balcony on Grandiosa after and the bed was not as good and the shower/tub combo was not as good as just the shower (I actually found it s bit dangerous getting in/out. Anyways, been extremely happy with MSC overall.
I would like to know if it's a single bed or a sofa bed? because I saw a review for another solo cabin and the guy said the sofa bed was very unconfortable. Wath was your experience?
Thank you for this! I just booked 10256 and wanted to ask what the area was like. Seems like a little hallway off from the panoramic elevators? I’m a little confused at the beginning of your video though cause I would expect to see 10256 next to you there but what was that?
The bed is of the same quality and comfort as a balcony room, just smaller, for one person. They don’t have enough solo cabins, so book ahead, don’t wait, as the solo cabins sell out very fast.
I don’t know what size the bed was but it was more the adequate size wise for one person. It was certainly wider than one of the beds they push together in cruise ships to make the one bed.
The room was plenty big for one person and had all the amenities I needed, all for $549 for the 7 night cruise, including WiFi and easy plus drink package.
