Dude thank you so much. You are the only person who's made a review of this mic that's said to remove the other foam piece to use the wind stopper. I've never used microphones before so I had no idea.
Would this mic be any good for picking up just exhaust sounds? Nobody needs to be exposed to me speaking, but my bike sounds sweet and I have an osmo action 3 in the post !
@@bluecollaroutdoors5556 unfortunately, the Hero3+ doesn't have any settings for Inputs/Microphones :( only settings for capture resolution, FPS, Protune and orientation :( I'll do some research and see if others have seen this
@@bluecollaroutdoors5556 My GoPro doesn't have any settings you can edit for audio 🙃 I also tried the Mic with a Laptop and a Desktop PC and the same static is recorded. Stating to think I have a dud mic 🤣

Where do you place (put) on this Purple Panda lavalier Microphne? inside helmet just in front of your mouth? Do you use also full face helmet?

I bought this mic, and it arrived today. Plugged it into a GoPro Hero3+ and the audio is awful - there's a lot of static, which is irritating :(
You might have to mess with your go pro settings to fix the static
