Tadej attacked half a dozen times on the Spandelles and kept pressure on the descent as well, Jonas almost crashed a few corners before Tadej. When waiting on your opponent after a crash you know he's most likely not going to try to attack you again, and descending safely is always the best option when you're the race leader. Also waiting was the right thing to do from a tactical perspective. It gave WVA more time in the breakaway and allowed Kuss and Benoot to return. Anyways best TdF I've seen with a lot of sympathetic guys racing agressively, and with the best to come out as winner in the end. What else can you wish for..
@@xeyth Could have easily made pogi burn a match going 90% until he caught up. Without a chance of catching wout. Jonas reacted the moment he fell he wasn’t thinking anything other than sportsmanship, he was BY FAR the strongest rider from a w/kg perspective and everyone including pogi knew it

Twice vingegaard nearly crashed. V close. Both times on left handlers. V was more rested than pogacar starting tour. P started tour v strong, faded: overall fatigue? Nah I dont think so. If they use doping today it is in very small doses. If you take big mountain climbs Vingegaard are minutes behind the fastest times ever

The handshake after Vingegaard waiting for Pogacar was by far the best cycling moment in years!!!
Stage 11 is Goated
greatest of all time stage of TDF
I agree with u gentle sir
Sure was
The moment Jonas sat up and waited for Tadej is the moment I fell in love with the tour. Job well done.

To me it was the best tour, the competition between vingengaard and pogacar was awesome. The team work of jumbo visma was unbelievable.
Hard to argue with any of this.
3:47 we have some good guys on the flat, some good in the mountains ... and WVA
So happy for Jonas and TJV to see them win yellow again in 2023!
Best Tour ever, epic rides. Jonas one of a kind.! 2023 Come on Jumbo-Visma.
Epic rides is so true. Amazing how many incredible performances were packed into one race.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Great series, wish there were more episodes. I really hope there is a 2023 version!
Only 20 weeks until the start of TdF 2023. The sun will shine and we will wear shorts, t-shirts, and get sunburnt. Roll on July!
Haha!
💙Love the documentary-style videos from Velon!
Glad you enjoyed them!
Thank you for this. Been waiting forever on Netflix so this is a very very nice documentary to fill the void.
Yea - stupid Netflix launches the documentary during the TDF2023
Great , Congrats! thanks for sharing and inspire us! Greetings from Colombia.
Can’t be overstated the level of pacing that WVA did for Jonas on the Hautacam. Wout went full thermonuclear
Or the cobbles stage. Take Wout away from that team and they really don't win with Vingegaard.
😂 Thermonuclear is a great description!
WVA was invaluable on the cobbles for JV - on Hautacam I dont think it made much of a difference other than it looked good
Sure.. however he just set A pace.. the only reason it worked for Jonas was because he was stronger.
@briangoossens1519 23TDF TJV proved to be a team not a group of individuals
Someone there is thinking and thinking and putting together quality video recaps
This is another level... thank you Velon!!!
Really pleased you enjoyed it, Diogo 👌
Beautiful documentary, can't wait for the tour this year. After learned from his mistakes Pogacar will come with all his powers to take revenge.
Really pleased you enjoyed it, Diego. Judging by his performances in Spain this week, Pogacar looks super-motivated for 2023!
@@VelonCC Vingegaard replied to that in a great way tho :p
Yeah.. Pog we all feel sure that Pog will ride conservatively…… 😅
These moments are beautiful. Thank you.
Amazing content. What a Tour this was.
Great you enjoyed it. It really was an amazing race.
Amazing tour
Wout Van Aert in domestique mode is just amazing!
Thank you
3:37 and 6:42. where do i find these clips, please i really need to know?!?!?!
Is it just me are there more videos about the 2022 TDF any previous TDF?
Roglic will be back!
Sure ?
Are you guys serious? Stage 17 is left off these two episodes?
That was the main indicator how Jonas Vingegard could win the yellow.
🥰
2:00 interesting band-aid location...
8:10 answer: 'terrible, don't know why I do this, never want to win it...'
What a stupid question. Of course the answer will be obvious!

Haha 1969 all three jerseys went to Eddy Merckx. The white one didn't exist. Would have gone to him too
Bad tactics by the UAE director lost Pog the tour. He was all over the place!

Blood doping anyone?
