Spent a couple winters in one of them, & another at 10,000 feet in 2 moving van pads Gave me a real appreciation of creature comforts. Just the same, I'm thinkin' of making another 20 footer now slightly more Hi-tech. Them's nice poles ya got.

Nothing like staying in tipi …. The best . I was fortunate enough to stay in one while living in Oregon. Beautiful experience. Waiting on the day to get my own .

Been 50 years since I worked with horses, my grandfather's corral once set in the middle of downtown Colo.Sprs.(horses & mules bought & sold) He died at 90 when I was 3. ifffin' yur cute.,I could use a refresher course.
How far north do you stay in the winter? I travel on my cheap old Honda motorcycle a lot in winter, and spend most of that time in the backcountry on public land. I’m in Nebraska, so I need a couple of nice days to get south. Then I’ll spend a month or two in the Southwest, and Mexico. I’ve never thought about wintering in the northern part of the the US, but it looks interesting. I spent a month in northern Canada and Alaska this summer, but I think I’ll just go to higher elevations in the future. Elevation beats latitude when you’re looking for cooler weather anyway :)
