Fields is playing fine so far. The problem with the offense is the O-line being bad at pass blocking and good at killing drives with penalties. And with the exception of Pickens, none of the receivers are getting separation.
Same situation with Bears last year, swap Pickens for DJ Moore.
Once Roman Wilson come in , we should be able to use CA3 a lot more efficiently, we have a great TE , van jefferson can definitely get some separation but it’s not as much as GP but I think it’s good enough, we just need to get are o line together like you said bro

😂😂 Fields is no Baker. Mayfield threw for 3700, 3800, 3500 yards in his first 3 years in Cleveland and had QBRs of 51, 54, and 65. Let me know when Fields even throws for 3,000 yards. Cleveland should be kicking themselves. The Bears was addition by subtraction. They are not missing Fields 135 passing yards a game or 1 TD pass.

@@thekingmagnum7331Haha Nope Fields is a total bust. Baker was a pro bowler last year and threw for over 4,000 yards. Baker top 10 QB and Fields is a back up.

Fields is the future, no doubt. Najee Harris is the second most important Offensive player and the Steelers need him to step up and cover Field's back. If the Steelers maintain a core....Fields, Harris, Freiermuth, Warren, and especially GEORGE PICKENS....then the rest is relative. But I really love guys like Van Jefferson, Connor Heyward,
Plain and simple, offense needs to play better, we probably would've scored another tuddy if we didnt keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

The Steelers have solved many problems. They have two quality QBs and a skilled OC. The Bears, like the Panthers, for (sidebar reasons) are a bad team to QB for, creating an illusion of underperformance for Fields as long as he played there.
We don’t really know how good Fields is. He is young, is performing, and has upside. He shows relatively good play execution judgment, resisting the tendency of young QBs to gamble or cause turnovers.
But the Steelers offense continues to show a lack of dynamism. It’s no longer totally clear why this problem persists. It’s impossible to imagine the Steelers doing what the Saints did to the Cowboys last week. The over under for the home game against the Chargers hardly could be lower. Kicking six FGs for a win is great but isn’t the sort of play that carries through to the playoffs and with two division rivals stumbling out of the gate and a third mired in QB hell the Steelers should be thinking ahead particularly as the second half of their season fixes to be so much tougher than the first.
Possibly, the OL needs an upgrade.
The Steelers have more wins than touchdowns. We have ONE touchdown. ONE. Mike Tomlin is on track to beat this team into “.500 or one game above”……..the new low bar Mike Tomlin has set in Pittsburgh.

The NFL is not at all scared of the irrelevant Steelers under Mike Tomlin. Despite all of the BS hype, the Steelers will emotionally implode just like they do every season and be a shell by playoff time. Just stop it and tell the truth about the tiresome Mike Tomlin.
