Even Grealish knew he had, after his smirking face, afterwards.
So basically Chelsea didn’t get a penalty. That could have got them to an fa cup final. Due to the var assistant thinking he had seen it. That’s poor.
Obvious hand ball - oh wait its man city? Nevermind
No excuse, VAR should have called the referee to the screen for Grealish handball, 'clear and obvious error'
It was not an error but deliberate
I don't understand what an handball is anymore
Neither do the people who are paid to know
Nobody does, don’t worry
Never mind. The referees know and that’s the most important thing
They dont as you can see @@rem_kay
This is tiring. Good on Nottingham for calling it out
New title : why wasn't Chelsea awarded a penalty for that blatant handball?
Getting ridiculous now this
Final should have been Chelsea vs. Coventry
@@iamsoola89 100percent
How is Wan Bissaka a penalty but Ashley Young is NOT ?
If ever you have an easy handball penalty desicion it was Grealish. He moved his hand towards the ball and deflected it wide. May not have been a goal as keeper may have it covered but handball all day long.
Chelsea should have got a pen for that. It’s so sad to see these faulty decisions take place especially in a situation where Chelsea were in fact the better team and deserved the win and Thiago silva legend player last chance to win a big trophy
VAR is never the problem, these dodgy referees are
It's a tool for justifying fixes
Var is also the problem because if it was Chelsea player who make the handball even if ref ignore it var will have called him to check
@@FIDELISUDAMA-ix8wpvar is the technology the refs operate it
You guys are a joke always have a way to justify a bad decision by your incompetent reffs
Yes ,puppets and puppets...are we all stupidly gullible sky?
Gary devilled doesn't want forest checking for corruption.,can't think why ??
Did I miss the bit where they explained why it wasnt a pen for Chelsea? If we are back to "oh I thought the ref saw it" Isn't that the same lame arse excuse they had when they didn't pickup on the Diaz goal against Spurs. Are they really saying VAR didn't even look at it? Isn't that what they are there for? Jokes and jibes about corruption aside. If the ref had been asked to look at it again, and said no pen. I am not going to agree or like it, but I can at least know that the system in place is being used. This, this just smacks of, of...lazyness, incompetence, not taking things seriously?
These refs, left school at 16 wity zero qualifications, why shoukd one expect better?
This don't surprise us the referee and var in bed with Manchester City them in bedding in corruption
Not Man city… with the Emiratis, (if that’s a word). They pay their side hustles, so they definitely would give them leeway most of the time. I’ll always blame the refs for their lack of integrity.
Just excuses!!! And nothing happens further, not fair towards the players or the clubs.
Another awful week of refereeing, all started from the Chelsea City game.
Oliver getting payed for refereeing in Saudi and UAE and people are shocked by all the decisions going City's way??
Facts most of the decisions city gets he’s on var or the ref him or jerrard gillet but people want to act like it’s ok and perfectly fine
Exactly that. Soft pens free kicks. The Kovacic decision earlier in the season. 2 nasty tackles on two key players within two mins of each other. Any other team and they are down to ten me. He had already made the decision not to send him before Rice hit the deck??? Disgrace
No need for debate or discussions. It is stated in the rules.
“Play will be conducted in a manner that is beneficial and is favourable to Manchester City”
In every other job on the planet a mistake like that is fireable, yet they send Dermott sell a load of bullocks to defend their incompetent employees. That is the PGMOL for you
Chelsea should have had a penalty or at the very least a VAR review.
VAR have destroyed the so called beautiful game.
You'r unfortunate
I agree but for the weekend events having no VAR wouldn’t have changed anything as it didn’t get involved when it should have done
It would be much better to just scrap the whole VAR system bcz it is absolutely effectless as intended. ...
Lucky VAR is there, if not! Barcelona and Real Madrid have scored another 1000 off side goals, common bro😅😅😅
VAR KILLING THE BEAUTIFUL GAME OF FOOTBALL.
You'll never see a keeper sent off for two yellow cards for time wasting, referees aren't that brave.
“we don’t have the moving pictures” you mean videos lmao?
They don't show us either way and never have. It's always still images when I watch this bs ref watch.
Chelsea should of had a stone wall penalty, probably would of, it wasn't Man City they were playing.
What gets me More Mad is that you can See when they play the full clips Grealish extended his arm out towards the ball, while AWB finishes the clip with his arm behind him because he’s trying to bring it in behind him!
So Grealish who stuck his arm out gets away with it but AWB Whose trying to move his arm away gets the call against him
No he didn't. He jumped. When you jump your arms go out. He pulled his arm back towards his body.
You jump with your arms wide in a wall? @@russellward4624
They give the most bogus call 1 minute of discussion but the rest they joke around about the whole time?
MC appear to be the only team that are getting majority of these VAR penalty decisions in their favour…blatant handball as Greilish hand is moving towards the ball / Doku high foot against Liv / Rodri handball against Everton (title decider) a few seasons ago.
VAR just don’t want to intervene for any decisions against MC…it’s always play-on, whereas everybody else seem to be suffering their fair share from VAR.
Key reason also why they’re won 2 PL titles with 1-point in last 4 seasons.
Oliver to give decision against man city that never happened just think of the bonus he on being on city's books
Carragher hates City and keeps shouting 115 everywhere but doesn't start making up conspiracy theories and didn't think Doku's was a foul..get your base organised then comeback
😂 What a load of shite coming out of Dermots mouth
Why not answer yes or no? Was it or was it not a penalty against Man City?
New show name: 4 bellends sitting at a table
no going over the clear Coventry City handball that wasn't called for man united?
The ref must be on man city payroll 😆
Handball should be handball no ifs or buts
VAR is destroying is football , this rising VAR issues needs to be looked at seriously
Excuses after excuses. Manutd one is pen but the other is not. Maybe in 2035 fa will investigate this one also along with the other 250 charges that they already have. Meanwhile Everton and forest will get 30 pt deduction each in their league 2 standings
Betting is corrupting the beautiful game. Even the officials are also betting for more cash
only 10 seconds talking about the Chelsea penalty? but the headlines is about Chelsea?
That one a clear handball what the lad doing in the var booth drinking beer and tea?
Exactly. A hand in the box is a penalty. Do u remember ball to hand . Unless its clear the players have moved to the ball , then it's not a penalty
That was a penalty for Chelsea but united wasn't a penalty
What annoyed me the most was that the commentators knew it had hit something and the main one immediately said "DEFLECTION!" and then "Well, surely that has to be a corner?" The other guy, Jez I think said "It hit his arm but it was by his side." Clearly it wasn't by his side it was out at 45 so I think, more than any other decision I have seen this season, it really makes you wonder about the credibility of the officiating. So I think the MP we like did well not to absolutely do his nut and get himself red carded.
When it comes to Manchester City and Manchester United the rules are different 😢
How does Dermot Gallagher manage to say the referee was wrong without saying the referee was wrong 😵💫
Its a f-ing pen what are they paying you for
Another video focusing on how the refs (WRONG) decisions have had a major impact on a game. Theme of this year, happening week in and week out at this point. Once is understandable, twice a problem .. but at this point it has become a trend across mutliple competitions and multiple games. How can they blame anyone for calling it corruption ?
The way I see it. Grealish’s arm is covering the space for 1 more person in the wall. So if his arm is not tucked when he jumps. The wall opens and he is in essence covering the space between with his arm.
And they go to var. it’s a clear and obvious error that it hit his arm. So Oliver needs to go look. And then if no pen, it’s a corner cause you see the defection.
Chelsea should have won by 3 but Jackson couldn’t hit the ocean if he was standing in a tide pool
Man city have paid the refs..we can't put anything past a club with 115 chatges.
Sorry but if the ref didn't see it then isn't it VARs job to help out with moments like that? Juat admit that the people doing the job aren't capable or that there is corruption because I don't see how it's anything else
If it wasn't a penalty why he didn't give chelsea a corner bcoz in plain sight the hit opposition player on its way out.this shows corruption at its best if not match fixing period there's no explanation to this.chelsea were cheated
The wan bissaka pen was a pisstake how close he was.
Yet City game was a bang on pen
Exact same situation as the Ashley Youngs one, whats the difference??
Surely Man city owners paying premier league referees to work in the middle East is a conflict of interest and should be looked at! Even if it's not corrupt it doesn't look good. Especially considering Michael Olivers performances this season,
It's one of two things, either the PGMOL puts consistently incompetent refs in charge of decisions, which means they need to be stepped down or they are complicit in the biased decisions or lack thereof, which means they are corrupt.
Ok, let's think about this logically: The ref awarded a goal kick, so he clearly didn't see the ball hit Grealish's arm. The VAR sees the ball hit the arm, so he can't possibly decide that it's not a major error, can he? If that's the case, all the VAR is doing is rubber stamping the referee's error/incompetence. So what's the point of VAR?
Ref Watch? More like "Make excuses for the Ref". They rarely call out even the most egregious and obvious errors.
This isnt a difficult one.
There is absolutely no debate that it strikes his hand. All that is left to determine is whether or not, in the opinion of the onfield referee, it meets the various thresholds for a handball- arm in an unnatural position/makes his body bigger etc. The fact that it is subjective means that the referee absolutely should review it.
What a waste of time asking him anything. He just backs up any obvious mistakes that have been made.
Onana booked for time wasting and goes away for a drink of water instead of restarting the game is the same incident! Does this mean when you're getting booked for kicking someone, you can carry on kicking them until play restarts?
If that was Liverpool being denied a penalty there would've have been a major uproar in the English media. This is the 5th final that Chelsea was denied an obvious call by the ref.
I am becoming bored watching this madness happens every week. Madness.
-have a debate on whether it’s a penalty or not
-show sympathy for referees
- repeat next week
And we wonder why this keeps happening and Forest come out with statements like that? We want change and these casual conversations aren’t changing anything, they’ll have this exact same conversation next week.
Sadly for Coventry? And not sadly for giving a wrong penalty against United?
I'm losing Faith on VAR, is like the modern way Mafia, Corrupt and biased Referees
man city is so corrupt it truly hurts to watch.( not a chelsea fan )
Chelsea should be asking for the audio from VAR on this call. Personally - I feel the manager needs to be able to challenge a call in situations like this. It is obviously wrong call. It's ALSO an incident that VAR should be checking since it happened inside the box. The PGMOL is a total laughing stock after this last weekend. The P stands for "professional" btw... Not seen anything professional about what is going on with refs calls and the total lack of responses from them on these horrendous calls in the modern game.
VAR is a mess to the beautiful game
See how they just easily dismissed the blatant penalty?
They only gave a penalty against United to make the game more exciting!
The pen on Wan Bissaka was shite.
The city one is an undoubtable penalty anywhere VAR OR NOT
What the hell is complex about it…. If I can do it in the basement… sure they can do it
What do we expect players to do with their arms? If they are in a natural position, not out at 90 degree angle or above their head, but close to their body, it can’t be a penalty. Grielish and Wan Bissaka….neither are penalties for me. However, handball will always be controversial…the more they try and simplify it, the more complicated it becomes! That will never change!
What's this man saying???
Is it a hand ball or not???
EPL official are too bias
5 mins and 16 seconds of my life and i will never get back
Why don’t ask the officials.
Why is it when it is Chelsea advantages, like Manchester city greenish hand ball that even Conner Kik was not given, and arsenal Gabriel foul against madueke, which they scored with counter attacked, your England VAR disappeared, but when it is their disadvantages, they will reappear.
For any wrong decisions they have en explanations... May be we just don't now the rules? Or may be they just play with them how they want?
Michael Oliver and friends was UAE employees 🤣 they love to make money from Middie East country 🤑
Exactly, they will not upset their pay masters! Boycott football!
What sort of foolish explanation did he give for the chelsea penalty?
The 115 goes deep
Why didn't he ask for walker's 2 fouls, one inside the box and one outside the box?
loved Frank Lampard as a player ,but he hasn't got a clue what a penalty is just like his management skills ! [pundit on tv covering the match ] ..........
While not faultless, rugby’s TMO works much better.
Can’t the ref tell VAR his decision, then VAR has an opportunity to confirm, or ask ref to look at the replay? That way VAR knows the ref’s decision and could have at least give a corner.
Should have been at least a corner
Fans please boycot football for a week; that is the best response!
1” off side is stupid
There are more debates about the referee's/VAR decisions for the weekend than about the games. Shows that there's definitely a problem.
Why are you avoiding the fact that a penalty was given wrongly against United, and you are sorry that an offside goal was cancelled.
Clear penalty for Chelsea.
VAR flavors whichever team they want, not what that man is explaining.we all have eyes to see.what is needed is a standardized rules.
The VAR in premier league is disgusting. How many conversations on this. Utter stupidity. The caliber of people in VAR is worst than average.
Two semi ....two different ruling?
Var also the problem because if it was Chelsea player that make the handball even if ref. Ignore it Var will have called him to check. Both Var and ref always against Chelsea when it comes to Chelsea playing man city, Liverpool, man u. I don't know why the hate for Chelsea. That oliver or what is his name self has been doing it against Chelsea several times, they should call him to order or stop to officiate any Chelsea match.
😢Michael Oliver. Man City no more needs to be said. Just look at his stats when he refs them
How can var tell the difference for the offside with those thick lines
Should be sent off time still being played penaltys or not games not finished conspiracy
The Var & Ref will always decide a team to clinch the titles
Michael Oliver was paid numerous times this season by Man City
So many controversies surrounding the officiating in recent weeks
They are losing control of football. They have different levels of the same Foul but no one knows the levels.. you have player doing so much diving it's becoming a joke. They need to start fining these players even if the dive was caught after the match.
Should rename themselves to PGMOiL.
Yes. Clearly hand is wide open.
