I see and have seen things you will never see or understand. Politicians use them for political gain, instead of actually helping, so of course it can be discouraging. As a result, there are reasons I feel this way. This includes kids that are raised in the foster care system and who age out the system at 18 and left to fend for themselves!!!

There is a marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles that does something similar. They’re called “Stiiizy” and they often go and purchase tamales and other items from street vendors to get them out of the heat or other types of inclement weather. There ARE good people out there.

Communities should take care of their own. It shows compassion, altruism and brings people closer. People are less likey to behave criminally to those they know personally who are helping them.
