Sangrami Lahiri is a disciple of Pandit Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay, the
doyen of Bishnupur Gharana. She has trained under him for more than 45 years.
Sangrami stood first in Khayal in All India Radio Music Competition in the year
of 1986 and was awarded starting grade B as a Khayal artist in AIR. Later she
upgraded to B-High and eventually to grade A. A regular performer of AIR
Kolkata, she has performed in multiple classical music concerts in India and
abroad. She is an Engineer by profession, a musician by passion. Music is the
food for her soul.
