Memories. My AP Bio teacher showed us this, and the PCR song back in 2011, don't remember if this was at the start of the year or after we took the AP test and had nothing else to do, either way she has a great sense of humor.
Same (but I was 2009).
That's arguably the best BioRad add I've seen so far, despite the fact we mostly have their electrophoresis chambers and order our primers elsewhere.
The last video taught us that this can't take place in the 1970's, back then PCR wasn't invented so if you wan'ted to "amplify DNA you had to grew tons and tons of tiny cells".

This has been out for ten years, and it still makes me laugh out loud.
I'm they guy screen left in the maroon disco suit. This shoot was totally fun! If you can believe it (HA!) we made up those amazing dance moves on the spot. Everybody was really great to work with.

This song is about PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) - a technique commonly used in labs nowdays to make many thousands (if not millions) of copiesof any DNA strand.

Well, In theory it doubles the DNA with each cycle, so even typical 20-25 cycles give us 2^20 (1,048,576) or 2^25 (33,554,432) copies, however, real number of copies will differ for each particular PCR due to the fact that reaction reaches plateau phase, so 40 cycles won't really end up in ~1.1 trillion copies and may look a bit messy on the gel.

The fact of this situations is that a large majority of people on youtube are too busy watching "gangnam style", a song which they cannot even understa.d On top of that you have "Toby Turner", "Sxe Phill", and many more.
