With Dex and Mason commanding double teams, our edges and linebackers will have a much easier time making those plays. why would the vikings give up their next QB when sam darnold might not even be here in a few years. The giants would have to give up more than just a first round pick for him. The vikings aren't dumb like the giants. They understand you need a viable backup in case your first QB goes down. Someone who can win a couple of games while the starter recovers. As for mccarthy himself, a coworker who is a huge michigan fan even said that he doesn't think he will be very good for the giants. His exact words were: "he did everything he was asked to do, but he wasn't asked to do much".
Tim Drew Allar did not perform well against OSU. and his endzone picks that he had were terrible thank god the refs bailed him out cause those were terrible throws... he is compared to josh allen cause of the arm strength but no way. i think allar would go back.. for 1 more year that's just my opinion.. but PSU sure has a nice pass rusher. maybe we will take him. lol.
