Guys two characters can just be best friends, they don’t always have to be in a romantic relationship. Sometimes a strong friendship without romance can really add to two characters’ stories. And sometimes the opposite adds to characters’ stories. It just depends. For Sirius and Remus I think the non-romantic best-friendship works better.
@@aminoor6257 I find it's weird people that usually do that to satisfy their weird as hell fantasies, and they will always draw pics of 2 friends making out or worse
I think he didn't look for love as he saw his parents kind of love nd didn't want anything 2 do with that kind of thing. Nd just remember they were in the middle of the First Wizard War nd then he was taken 2 Askban.
Sirius was rebellious, passionate and intense. He was also only 21 when he lost the people he loved most in the world and sent to Azkaban. I sometimes like to imagine him having a secret romance with a muggle girl or boy who he didn’t even tell James about. I do think people with Sirius’ complex type of temperament tend to fall in love when they’re older and have sorted out their issues. Because of Bellatrix he never got that chance, but we’ll not know for sure what secrets he may have taken to his grave!
I still have my fanfic in my head where he was on the run during the summer break in book 4. Where he was in the tropic over in the West Indies, in a Muggle Village. Far away enough from the Ministry, and enough Sun to repel Dementors, he had a nice vacation for rest, relaxation, and keeping up with the Wizarding World. And around that time he had a fling with a Muggle Woman that could have gone somewhere but was given the message from Harry about his Scar Warning and rushed over, without ever giving any info about himself to his Summer Fling. And she never knew what ever happen to that handsome British man. We know he was attracted to Muggle Women with the Muggle poster in his room. My guess he never was interested in Magical Women, mostly due to what you said in this video. He wanted to as opposite of a Black Family Heir as possible.
Why does marrying Tonks means Remus was not in love with Sirius? Sometimes love changes. And it doesn’t say anything out Sirius feeling. I‘m a big Wolfstar support, even there is no hard facts. They deserve to be loved and have each other, after all that shit they went through.
Literally THANK YOU! People are here arguing with me we Wolfstar shippers know that there was most certainly something about remus and sirius and that's the reason we ship them
YES! Im a HUGE wolfstar shipper and everybody in the comments is like “wolfstar isnt real and its dumb” and honestly no hate pls but i dont think remus and tonks were a good couple, they felt really forced and i just dont see it like it came out of nowhere and shes so much younger than him, and i feel like jkr only put them together so ppl wouldnt think he was gay and that rly irritates me
Because nothing indicates that they had romantic feelings? People really need to remember(!) that friendships between guys exist and that doesn't mean it has to lead to romantic feelings. All these shippers are really getting really out of hand and it's getting ridiculous. I didn't even realize it was a thing until this video pointed it out.
@@Tekaneable I think people know that but what I don't understand is that I people ship it then why do you y'all have a problem with it? Poa is literally a prime example of how much they lived each other but because of Jkr's Homophobic nature she didn't make them a couple and also funfact the year the book of Poa was released people started shipping Remus ans Sirus but apparently she filed a law suit against them
Very interesting. I’d always imagined Sirius never wanted to aid in the black family name living on through him ie. any children he may have. So I always thought he chose to stay alone to let the black name die with him eventually. Sirius is one of my favourite characters along with Dumbledore
I just realized I’m that scene from the movie with the marauders at school bullying snape wtf where they wearing blazers for like nooooo just looks so strange with the cloaks
All harry potter characters are defined by how they choose to love and how they express it sirius expresses love for the family he always wanted like a dog he is as loyal as they come and his love for his friends is so strong it transcends to his friends son harry
It still bothers me that the pensieve wasn't used when there were 5 witnesses to prove Peter was alive and Sirius was innocent. It would take a lot to create matching false memories especially when three of them were children.
I kinda ship both ships because their both incredible. I see it more of that Sirius and Remus were together during their later school years, then in adult life Remus is with Tonks. I love to think of them that way.
Let's just respect each other. If you want to believe in canon or fanon. If you think Sirius is gay, bisexual, pansexual, even aromatic (because that's a thing to). If you ship Wolfstar or Remadora or anyone else. Please do so. If this is Dean's opinion okay, but respect other's opinions. Just be happy with your Headcanons and ships. And also, it was never said he never dated. Yes, he never married, probably never fell in love. But we just don't know his past. Anyway, believe what you want to believe and be happy 😊
Lol Sirius had a crush on James everyone knows it. Idk Sirius being straight to me a wild and makes me question the fandom honestly. Bi or gay is the only way I can see Sirius.
To expand on some of the things you said in the video: I think that Sirius' upbringing made him a good judge of character. Given his looks and personality, I'm sure there were plenty of women who were attracted to him, but after living with his family he understood that looks and status didn't mean that a person was good. I think this made him a romantic, even though he didn't always behave like one. I think that if he met a woman who he actually cared for romantically and not just physically, he would have pursued her. He just never found one. Now you can argue that he misjudged Wormtail and Snape but in my opinion, he didn't. I think he and the other Marauders always had a slight suspicion of Wormtail over the years but as time went on they came to see him as a true friend. He didn't betray them until many years into their friendship with him. I think Sirius' ego and underestimation of Wormtail overruled his initial gut feeling towards him. When it comes to Snape I believe that even though Sirius was cruel to him, part of his reason for doing so was that he recognized that a part of Snape was selfish. Regardless of how you feel about Snape, his actions were in large part due to his love/obsession with Lily. This isn't a healthy motivation and I think a part of Sirius picked up on it. He might not have realized it, but he knew that something was off about Snape and he wasn't wrong. Snape was a hero and sacrificed much but his motivation for doing so is questionable in my opinion.
It was love (not obsession), as his patronis was the doe. Some would argue love is the highest motivation, even if the one who loves is seriously flawed🤔 I also think that Jk Rowling intended the "obsession" to be interpreted as loyalty (even if it may not appear so to a healthy, functional adult outside the Harry Potter universe 😉)
@@tstefanyk6604 I believe that is was both love and obsession. Not just for Lily but also for power. A healthy man would have either moved on or try to patch things up with Lily when she was alive. He eventually tried to make up for it after she was killed but then it became an obsession. Don't get me wrong, he was a hero and did the right thing in the end but he's morally gray. He wanted Lily to be his. A healthy person let's people go.
@@Jack_of_Hearts4 good point, he was definitely "grey" in terms of morality, and he had serious attachment issues. I would argue that his obsession with power was s means to an end, though, not an end in itself (ie he wanted power because he mistakenly thought it would impress Lily). Remember when he switched allegiances, he defected to the losing team - the Order was nearly defunct and Voldemort was at the height of his power. Of course this was motivated by guilt, but indicates that his love of Lily (however unhealthy) was the primary motivating factor behind his decisions, power was secondary. Besides, if he ended up letting it go and becoming a healthy, well adjusted adult, the story wouldn't have been nearly as interesting. I guess he ultimately suffers his dysfunction for our entertainment. Wow, that just made me feel sad, and guilty!
In any case, I do agree with you that, based on his character and good looks, Sirius probably had relationships. I just think we didn't hear about them because they weren't important in the larger context of the story. We simply can't know every single detail of every single character's life. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.
@@tstefanyk6604 I agree completely. It definitely would have made the story less interesting. Also I'm not saying the Sirius is a saint by any means. He went too far with his treatment of Snape but I get annoyed when people act like Snape was completely misunderstood. The guy had issues and I think Sirius saw through to his bad side.
Not trying to start a ship war but it's clearly implied that the Whomping Willow incident put a strain in their relationship. They definitely must have cared for each other a lot since Sirius became an animagus to help Remus during his transformations but most of their love must have faded away by the time the First War broke out. Events from canon with refute Wolfstar as canon or even as close friends: 1) If Sirius trusted Remus so much he wouldn't have suspected him a traitor and kept him in the dark about the Secret Keeper switch. 2) Remus had accepted the accusation of Sirius betraying the Potters. If they had that amount of love which shippers (not all but you know what I mean. A lot of Wolfstar shippers are pretty nasty) claim they did then Remus wouldn't have been so accepting of it. 3) With all is said and all is done, in OoTP, Remus and Sirius never potray the image of rekindling their friendship. When Sirius and Molly break out into an argument, Remus doesn't call Molly out for her unfair words or try and defend Sirius in any sort of way. There are only two people Sirius has truly been shown to care and love, which are James and Harry (nobody better say that Sirius sees Harry as James.2). It can also be argued he cared about Lily since they are on good terms in Lily's letter but he probably didn't love her enough to be noted. Not saying that people can't ship them or can't headcanon them as canon. I'm a huge shipper myself and won't let things like canon stop me. I'm just saying that if someone can give reasons as to why it could be canon then another could also give their own as to why they're not. A lot of Wolfstar shippers are also pretty forceful of it which is annoying.
Well said! I do ship wolfstar but only cos shipping is a fun thing to do. I definitely don't think it's canon. A lot of shippers cross over the line and can be toxic. Have fun with your ships but don't take it too seriously lol
Agreed. But to be fair, Remus suffered with a difficulty to love, or to show his love. You can see that with his relationship with Tonks as he refused to marry her for the longest time and then almost abandoned her when she got pregnant. I think Remus was severely traumatized after the Potters died and probably quickly accepted whatever reality was presented in front of him, that being that Sirius betrayed them.
I have always felt that the dark legacy in Sirius Black’s family of dabbling in the dark arts and curses for so many generations overtime, attracted such bad karma that Sirius couldn’t just walk away from it even after leaving his family home. Its as though this bad karma accumulated over the centuries followed Sirius throughout his life. Most of Sirius’s family members didn’t go unscathed either including Blacks who were reformed or enlightened like his brother Regulus, Nymphadora, Andromeda, uncle Alphard etc. They were blighted by the family’s inherent curse or bad karma that caused most Blacks in the family tree not live past their middle age or lose loved ones tragically.
Yeah she kinda is the only reason she exists is to be a fanfic character shes essentially just a blank slate that you can project your ideas onto I mean she’s best friends with Lily and is the romantic partner to Sirius not to mention she serves no purpose at all and has 0 personality she exists to be a self insert character for fan fictions
I personally like the idea of Sirius having been in love with Marlene McKinnon, since they were both in the order, both purebloods, and both were single in the same age group. Had she not died before the end of the first war, he may have settled down with her
@@sashawoodworth8855 it was told she had a family. It can be possible she had a husband or maybe she was still living with her parents for safety during the war. Anything could have happened.
i fink after she died that sirius good never fall in love again or Marry because she was his soul mate like james x lily and frank x alice you can cause how sirius felts when marlene died it broke his heart and then death of blood brother james and blood sister lily it was too mutch for him handel it broke sirius completly
I have a few video suggestions, Could you do a video on why the other Wizarding governments/countries didn’t help Britain during the Wizarding wars? Or how much the Wizarding wars effected the rest of Europe? Or what would’ve happened to the rest of the world if Voldemort had won?
I almost (ironically) laughed when you wondered about whether or not Rowling liked "torturing" Sirius. I write a lot (I'm not very good at it, though. I'm terrible at describing things and terrible at editing) and I've been in writing forums. I can say that being mean to your characters is a joke that comes up very often whenever I'm in the writing forums though I've never heard a story as sad as Sirius's.
I thought that when he was younger he concentrated on his studies and having fun with his friends without having an interest in having a girlfriend. Also with the war against Voldemort he didn't have the time to have a girlfriend and also he may not have wanted to face the possibility of losing a spouse at a young age. Also his parents had probably arranged who he would marry from one of the pure blood families and Sirius wasn't interested in an arranged marriage.
In a weird way, Sirius kind of reminds me of Ewrin Smith from aot. They have a lot of difference in their lives but like Sirius, Ewrin never found love in his life either. He could have been both a commander and a husband/father but he chose to focus on his work because of his dream even if he wanted to start a life with someone else.
Because not every guy has to be in a relationship with a woman, get married and have kids. Personally I don't like when people pair Sirius up with female characters in fanfictions. It's so forced and doesn't suit his character. I avoid such stuff. I also hate when people think of him as a womanizer. And no, blackinnon is not canon!
He lived in a very abusive household, he was busy protecting the potters, was 21 nearly 22 years old when he went into Azkaban and he was running and hiding after he escaped.
Always guessed that he once had some girlfriends in Hogwarts since Remus once told Tonks ,” he always gotten the women.” And maybe there wasn’t any female witch prisoners in Azkaban
He must also have been terrified that he might lose his loved ones again the same way he had lost James. Also it wouldn't have been his priority to find love as he must have felt he owed it to James that he would do all he could to be there for Harry. I regard Sirius' death as a salvation for him. He died in a battle to save Harry and he could quite peacefully rejoin James in the after life.
I feel like Sirius was probably Aro, maybe Ace, too, but as other comments said, he did have a poster of a muggle girl in a bikini, so it could be that he was allosexual, but aromantic.
I had a fanfic idea where Sirius's was hiding in the English countryside in his Animagus form. One night he's injured when he's hit by a car. A muggle woman takes him and nurses him back to health. When he's well enough he makes plans to sneak out, but not before sending a message to Dumbledore. He changes into his human form to write the letter after the woman goes to bed. However his plan goes wrong when the woman catches him in his human form. There's a whole lot more to the story but that's a sample of my idea. When I learned Sirius was going to die (by accident) I was so mad! Especially since I wrote an entire fanfic idea where he falls in love with a muggle woman. 😩😭💔 Well...at least there's an alternate timeline where he's alive an happy.🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for pointing this out Fed up with wolfstar shippers who always say wolfstar should be canon and Tonks is female Sirius which she is not. Remus loved Tonks, he and Sirius friends but complicated they're not even that close as James was to Remus or James and Sirius.
I think on some level Serius Black was a single handsome young wizard... he might have been aromantic or he might have been bisexual and in love with James.... but James was straight and in love with Lilly (It happens to us gay guys all the time. The secret crush syndrome).... Serius was only 21 when he went to Azkeban and he did not live that long after escaping Azkeban. Serious is a sad character.
Man was in love with James. Childhood trauma and a lack of identity meant he was attracted to the most charismatic person he met. I'm not saying he's gay, but you can love bigger than you.
Maybe we didn't see it in the story because it wasn't important for advancing the story line? That's not to say he didn't have relationships, maybe they just weren't important within the bigger picture🤔
Thanks for bringing this up as I have often wondered why Sirius never found love. No disrespect intended, but I'm not sure I'm convinced by your arguments, though. There are other characters that had nasty parents/guardians/upbringings/ very poor examples of functional relationships, who found themselves extremely busy, yet still found love (seriously, Harry and Snape), and many members of the Order were married even though they dedicated their lives to the cause. Plus he would have had a very positive model of love when he lived with the Potters, right at the time when his teenage hormones would have been raging. I think he was maybe just too focused to think about it??? And why, WHY, didn't he escape from Azkaban sooner, especially when he did so using powers he already possessed from the beginning, right when he was incarcerated??? Things could have been much different (and happier) for him😢
He was so good at turning into an animal that he became attracted to dogs. While Sirius never dated a human female, he was able to impregnate every female dog within the wizarding world.
For some weird reason during the 4th and 5th part i kind of thought ginny might be sirius daughter and it would be suspense until end in books. 😅 somewhere midway through 5th book part i wondered how ginny might have more to do with slytherin than it appears. Like what if molly had a sister and sirius dated her during the war when he was secret keeper for potters. 😅
I always felt that Sirius had romantic feelings for James, and that knowing that James was in love with Lilly he let his love flow quite naturally into a fierce friendship, and a desire to protect anything and anyone that James loved .. except for himself of course. If the world and its circumstances had been different he might have found someone to love, and to love him, but that would never have changed his feelings for James, Lilly, or Harry. Or I might be entirely wrong, and he was just the best friend anyone could hope for. Good video, thanks.
I have a much happier theory Sirius just loved Harry as a godson and Remus as a friend too much to ever think he could handle loving someone else or in a different way, and it was the same before James and Lily died
Sirius was said to be very attractive in the book, and I think he would therefore have many opportunities with women. I’d wager that he had a number of unmentioned relationships prior to Azkaban. Like many of us, he was less than fortunate with getting them to last, and he was still quite young when he was locked up.

She would say "Sirius black had down syndrome or something"
@@bdogm412 Yeah yeah but still she is the author who wrote a story that millions are obsessed with.
Thank u so much for making these vids for us❤️❤️❤️
The shippers: *silently shove their fanfictions further into the drawer*
Mm?
He wanted to as opposite of a Black Family Heir as possible.
omg . I would really like to read that.
This is one of my favorite topics you've done so far. Great video! :) Keep up the good work.
People are here arguing with me we Wolfstar shippers know that there was most certainly something about remus and sirius and that's the reason we ship them
YES! Im a HUGE wolfstar shipper and everybody in the comments is like “wolfstar isnt real and its dumb” and honestly no hate pls but i dont think remus and tonks were a good couple, they felt really forced and i just dont see it like it came out of nowhere and shes so much younger than him, and i feel like jkr only put them together so ppl wouldnt think he was gay and that rly irritates me
@@lalalalalalalalalla6673 they had loads of tension and in poa u could tell they love eachother
Poa is literally a prime example of how much they lived each other but because of Jkr's Homophobic nature she didn't make them a couple and also funfact the year the book of Poa was released people started shipping Remus ans Sirus but apparently she filed a law suit against them
7:37 True happiness doesn't mean romance. He died saving his Godson, he WAS really happy.
Very interesting. I’d always imagined Sirius never wanted to aid in the black family name living on through him ie. any children he may have. So I always thought he chose to stay alone to let the black name die with him eventually. Sirius is one of my favourite characters along with Dumbledore
Thanks for all you do Dean. Fantastic video, much love mate
I just realized I’m that scene from the movie with the marauders at school bullying snape wtf where they wearing blazers for like nooooo just looks so strange with the cloaks
I know right
I think he was happy to see Jeam's family and never thought of himself to get one.
Yea there were so many different ways to get the story told and they just ignored all of it. Talk about a plot hole.

As someone who ships Remedora, but not Wolfstar, I say THANK YOU FOR THAT!!!!
YES THANK YOU
I mean the fanfics are awesome but I really can't see wolfstar happening
Me neither. Glad I'm not the only one! XD
I kinda ship both ships because their both incredible. I see it more of that Sirius and Remus were together during their later school years, then in adult life Remus is with Tonks. I love to think of them that way.
“Tell me a secret, a nice one.”
Aromatic? He is having some specific aroma scent?
@@Tekaneable they'll have meant Aromantic, might of autocorrected, lack of romantic attraction.
its hard to open up to people if you had a traumatic childhood
Lol Sirius had a crush on James everyone knows it. Idk Sirius being straight to me a wild and makes me question the fandom honestly. Bi or gay is the only way I can see Sirius.
i reckon hes bi because of the poster of the muggle girl in a bikini in his room haha
@@izzylk1802 TRUE! Bi icon
There’s literally nothing straight about that man 😭
To expand on some of the things you said in the video: I think that Sirius' upbringing made him a good judge of character.
Some would argue love is the highest motivation, even if the one who loves is seriously flawed🤔
I also think that Jk Rowling intended the "obsession" to be interpreted as loyalty (even if it may not appear so to a healthy, functional adult outside the Harry Potter universe 😉)
Just because someone has never married or even dated doesn't mean they've never loved.
I really respect ships, but the fact that you guys are forgetting that Lupin is a married man who had a CHILD?
hagayyy.gif
My heart when he said wolfstar is not a thing 💔
Video: why Sirius never fell in love
Marlene McKinnon: Am I a joke to you?😂
Yeah she kinda is the only reason she exists is to be a fanfic character shes essentially just a blank slate that you can project your ideas onto I mean she’s best friends with Lily and is the romantic partner to Sirius not to mention she serves no purpose at all and has 0 personality she exists to be a self insert character for fan fictions
No.
you misspelled remus lupin :(
He wasn´t in love with her. It´s a fanon ship created by fangirls who desperately need to ship Sirius with some female character.
@@whytho1534 She was never mentioned to be Lily´s best friend in canon.
Y’all just gonna ignore Remus Lupin
Edit: for legal reasons this is a joke
I personally like the idea of Sirius having been in love with Marlene McKinnon, since they were both in the order, both purebloods, and both were single in the same age group. Had she not died before the end of the first war, he may have settled down with her
I think this idea is sweet, but didn’t she have a husband?
@@sashawoodworth8855 it was told she had a family. It can be possible she had a husband or maybe she was still living with her parents for safety during the war. Anything could have happened.
I don't think neither of them would've cared about the other being a pureblood. People in the order were opposed to such thought
i fink after she died that sirius good never fall in love again or Marry because she was his soul mate like james x lily and frank x alice you can cause how sirius felts when marlene died it broke his heart and then death of blood brother james and blood sister lily it was too mutch for him handel it broke sirius completly

I love your videos so much!
You are so good keep it up
Like the clips from the fan made films. 👌
I have a few video suggestions,
Could you do a video on why the other Wizarding governments/countries didn’t help Britain during the Wizarding wars?
He loved his friends his Godson and his Godson friends never understate that
In a weird way, Sirius kind of reminds me of Ewrin Smith from aot. They have a lot of difference in their lives but like Sirius, Ewrin never found love in his life either. He could have been both a commander and a husband/father but he chose to focus on his work because of his dream even if he wanted to start a life with someone else.
Maybe he is ace?
Great video!! ^_^
I love your videos and you should do a video with all creatures in Harry Potter and there lifespan
Amazing!
Great topic!!!!!
He lived in a very abusive household, he was busy protecting the potters, was 21 nearly 22 years old when he went into Azkaban and he was running and hiding after he escaped.
wolfstar is canon in my head
Always guessed that he once had some girlfriends in Hogwarts since Remus once told Tonks ,” he always gotten the women.” And maybe there wasn’t any female witch prisoners in Azkaban
One memory also showed that Sirius did not pay attention to the girls who liked him.
Omg I’ve been wondering the same thing!
Great video. Peace
Well...at least there's an alternate timeline where he's alive an happy.🤷🏼♀️
Ok guys- what if he’s aro?
this explanation hit me hard because i can mostly relate :( Sirius is my favorite character
*Imprisoned for 12 Years*
*Was in school or doing stuff for the Order*
*He died before he was innocent*
Me: I wonder why.
I refuse this wolfstar slander, I love remadora tho
Same
He was in love. What about WOLFSTAR!!! 😳😳😳
P.S.: Gather up wolfstar shippers. Show then our power.
Sirius loved Harry and Remus (as a close friend) and he was kind of a convicted murderer but I think he just didn't need or want anyone else
Thanks for pointing this out
Fed up with wolfstar shippers who always say wolfstar should be canon and Tonks is female Sirius which she is not.
I love your videos 💕
Man was in love with James. Childhood trauma and a lack of identity meant he was attracted to the most charismatic person he met. I'm not saying he's gay, but you can love bigger than you.
Because James got married.
Honestly, I feel like Sirius Black is the kind of “high school” student that’s a jock that has a series of sexual conquests
Except that’s literally not who he he was whatsoever.
Ok, ok, that’s just how I imagined him
Maybe we didn't see it in the story because it wasn't important for advancing the story line? That's not to say he didn't have relationships, maybe they just weren't important within the bigger picture🤔
@@AustinNGrayson omg its not real! let people interpret characters however they want, chill :)
@dr103 what do you mean he wasnt very popular? Lupin literally says in book 5 that "James and Sirius were the height of cool".
Things could have been much different (and happier) for him😢
Remus right now:👁💧👄💧👁
Because he wanted to be free, not imprisoned again😂

He was so good at turning into an animal that he became attracted to dogs. While Sirius never dated a human female, he was able to impregnate every female dog within the wizarding world.

For some weird reason during the 4th and 5th part i kind of thought ginny might be sirius daughter and it would be suspense until end in books. 😅 somewhere midway through 5th book part i wondered how ginny might have more to do with slytherin than it appears. Like what if molly had a sister and sirius dated her during the war when he was secret keeper for potters. 😅
there is A LOT of fan fiction I can introduce you to lol
I always felt that Sirius had romantic feelings for James, and that knowing that James was in love with Lilly he let his love flow quite naturally into a fierce friendship, and a desire to protect anything and anyone that James loved .. except for himself of course. If the world and its circumstances had been different he might have found someone to love, and to love him, but that would never have changed his feelings for James, Lilly, or Harry. Or I might be entirely wrong, and he was just the best friend anyone could hope for. Good video, thanks.
I don’t trust ppl who ship James and Sirius
Me too
I have a much happier theory
Sirius just loved Harry as a godson and Remus as a friend too much to ever think he could handle loving someone else or in a different way, and it was the same before James and Lily died
he was too busy being a rebel lol
BECAUSE HE WAS IN LOVE WITH LUPIN!
So emotional 😭
I like your videos
Sirius was said to be very attractive in the book, and I think he would therefore have many opportunities with women. I’d wager that he had a number of unmentioned relationships prior to Azkaban.
Like many of us, he was less than fortunate with getting them to last, and he was still quite young when he was locked up.
He never got the chance. He was about 21 when imprisoned in Azkaban. After escaping, he was hiding.
